I've got you under my skin.

Raising an eye brow, Cade fixed a steady gaze on Caroline. “Wow, Caro, I never thought of you as the killing type, but you know, if they hit you like [I[that[/I] I guess it’s okay,” his face was a little troubled, and he jumped onto his feet. “That’s no fair,” he said, referring to the fact that she could absorb the water form her clothes. Shaking like a dog after a bath, Cade flung little drops of water around. “Temper, temper,” he muttered again, pushing back his hair out of his eyes and giving her a sly little grin.

Caroline's whole body seemed to jerk dramatically and she made a small noise of frustration. "I didn't kill anyone, you're so stupid!" she yelled at him becoming increasingly angry with him again. "Shut-up, I don't have a temper!" she said to him making the water fly right back into his hair and clothing as Cade shook. Every little thing about the guy just seemed to get on her last nerve. Clenching her fists tightly she continued to glare at him as if any second beams would shoot out of her eyes and destroy him.

“Personally, I like to take a few deep breath’s when I feel like my temper is getting out of hand,” Cade said, ignoring all of her comments. He couldn’t help but shiver when it seemed like no matter how hard he tried, all the water clung to him for dear life. “You really need to stop holding grudges,” he told her, closing his eyes and taking in a long breath.

"You really need to stop talking to me," she said to him seething with anger. As he closed his eyes, Caroline backed up a little bit... taking the moment to run away she ended up stumbling back wards and falling on her rump. Groaning she just sat there helplessly for a moment. Here she was, a girl who had all the privileges that any teenage girl would want - and she was on the ground by a lake practically at the mercy of someone she couldn't really figure out if she seriously hated or not.

Opening his eyes, Cade wasn’t all that shocked to see his little friend running off again. This attempt was just a little more pathetic than the last and he let out a small, almost silent laugh. Walking up to her, he stared down at her, grinning despite his efforts to keep an expressionless face. “Since you’ve been such a wonderful person today,” he said sarcastically, “I guess I could show you my power,’ he finished, sounding as though he were doing her some huge favor. Stepping back, he stomped his right foot, causing the ground beneath her behind rise, and forcing her back on her feet. “And you say I’m not nice,” he scoffed, crossing his arms over his chest.

As Caroline was pushed up by the ground, she gave him a weird look as she straightened herself out and brushed her pants off. Still giving him a really weird look, carefully all the water that was on him suddenly just fell to the ground. A few seconds passed of her just staring at him awkwardly, then suddenly she spoke "Do you really have to move when controlling the earth? Can't you just do it with you're mind without moving?" she said to him, looking at the ground then back at him.

“…No.” he said plainly. “It’s a combination of thought and movement,” he explained, “Unless it’s a little rock or something relatively small.” Staring down at the ground, he kicked up some dirt, and rather than letting it settle back down on the ground, it spun around in the shape of a little tornado. “If I’d wanted to, I probably could have lifted you without moving, you’re too skinny to really add much weight to the rock,” he muttered, having noticed how skinny she was when she had been swimming in the lake.

Caroline gave him a weird look again, finding it odd that they were talking normally. She resisted the urge to bring the whole lake down on him. She could do it too, if she tried hard enough. "That's stupid," she said simply not bothering to be rational. Of course, there was a difference in the elements they controlled. It was logical that Cade would have to move to control the earth while Caroline could just sit there and do everything with her head.

Cade sighed loudly. “And to think, I thought you were actually capable of a normal conversation. I guess I set my hopes a little too high,” he shook his head, disappointed. “Is it possible for you to just have a nice, pleasant conversation, Caro? Without insulting anyone?” He clarified, finding it hard to believe that she actually might be able to.

Caroline immediately tensed up, "Didn't I tell you to stop calling me Caro, you stupid prick!" she yelled at him. "And I could probably have a nice conversation, with anyone other then you," she said "You just get on my last nerves." He was stupid, stupid, stupid, stupid. Not even realizing what she was doing, the water from the lake started to turn into thousands of little snakes slowly creeping up on him.

“Yes, you did,” he reminded her, once again, ignoring her insult. He stood there silently as she continued her little attack. “You’re not a very nice person,” he reminded her, scratching the back of his neck, he stepped forward, looking down at her. He pressed his forehead against hers and stared straight in her eyes. And then, out of nowhere, he wrapped his arms around and pulled her into a right bear hug. “I think you should apologize, Caro,” he told her, lifting her off her feet, grinning beside himself.

The moment he came near her, she started to back away. Although when he picked her up, Caroline screamed and squirmed. A few seconds passed of resisting when she finally gave up, "You've got to be kidding me," she said stubbornly "I'm not apologizing even if you hug me all night." Actually she probably would if he didn't let go soon, she just didn't want to admit that.

“Oh, really?” Cade teased, swinging her around a few times. “Something tells me that you’d get pretty annoyed by such an ugly boy hugging you,” he explained. ((Blaaaaaaaah, shortness ))

[ooc; it's ok. xDDD]
"GAHH," Caroline yelled and started to push her hands against Cade's chest again, in a feeble attempt to get away she tried to push herself up by putting her hands on his shoulders... but it was a no go. He had her in a tight grip. "Let go of meeeeeee," she whined, helplessly trying to push herself away from him again. Giving up again she had her arms draped over his shoulders just in case he decided to drop her. Completely worn out she rested her forehead on one of her arms, "Sorry," she mumbled so quietly that even a person with amazing hearing probably couldn't hear it.

Unable to suppress a grin, Cade watched her futile attempt to get out of his arms. A little boney girl had no chance against his strength. He heard a small, soft little mumble, and cocked his eyebrow. “Excuse me?” he asked, “come on, you have a louder voice than that, trust me, I’ve heard,” he muttered, nudging her with his forehead. “Just a simple apology is all I’m asking for,” he prompted, finding himself thoroughly amused by all of this.
