Once again, she smiled at him from over her shoulder, let her hair fall back down and said, "Thanks. I'll be right back. Make yourself at home, though." She strutted to her bathroom, and changed. A small, pink lace slip seemed perfect; it showed off her body perfectly and made her smile in confidence. She pulled her hair up into a slight messy-bun and slipped on thin white robe. Amy closed the robe with it's small sash tie, making sure to let only a little peek out. She was not going to look desperate; she was going to look...in control.
Walking out, she smiled and pulled out a small red photo album. Sitting on her bed (considering it was the only place to sit on), she patted the spot beside her. "I wonder if you'll remember any of these..." Pictures from years ago, when she had first started taking pictures. It was when they had first started dating, too.

"Alright," muttered Kenric as he watched Amy walk off to the bathroom. Scratching the back of his head, he looked around the apartment. He pulled off his jacket and hung it up on a coat rack that stood by the door. Once done with that he ventured deeper into Amorinas apartment, staring at her bedroom and waiting for her to come out.
When she did, Kenric was literally left speechless. He noticed his mouth was left quite agape, and closed it. Slowly, he walked over to her bed and pulled himself up onto it, scooting closer to her. Looking down at the small album, he couldn’t help but grin. "Yes, I do," he looked over at her and smiled, suprised that she had kept all of the pictures.

Smirking at his opened mouth, she nudged him. "What, you didn't think I could look this good?" She arched her back and winked up him before laughing. "I'm just kidding, Kenny." Sort of. Leaning against him, she flipped through the book and smiled. "Look," she pointed out," In every picture you're supposed to be in, I had to do this." She pointed out the pretty red K.
Amy sighed, placing a hand on his hand. "I missed you a lot,"she muttered, looking up into his eyes. She had left her window open, the curtains letting the sunset shine through. Remembering how high up her apartment was, she set her book down and grabbed his hand, making him stand up. "Come here, look at this." Amorina pulled the curtains open and looked out at the golden rays touching everything. It only reached the bottom of her apartment, grazing her feet. But everything else seemed laced in gold.

A nervous chuckle escaped Kenric’s lips as she leaned against him, flipping open the book. He stared down at the cute little K she was forced to write in his place and grinned.
The warmth of her hand on his was incredible, and he closed his eyes until she spoke up again. Opening them slowly, their gazes met and locked. He nodded, perfectly agreeing with her. “Me too.” Suddenly, she pulled him up to his feet and over to the window. “Wha—” and then he saw it, one of the most beautiful sights he’d ever seen. Besides her, of course. Everything looked amazing bathed in such a brilliant gold light. “It’s pretty,” he said with a cheesy grin on his face. When he said that, though, he once again looked down at Amy, dressed in such a manner that made him want her in ways he knew he shouldn’t. That didn’t mean he couldn’t do anything with her. Acting simply on impulse, Kenric turned Amorina towards him and wrapped her in his arms, pulling her close and kissing her with every bit of love and passion he had in him..

She was about to comment on how she had come across such a beautiful sight when she was turned around. Then she was about to ask him what he was doing when he wrapped his arms around her and began kissing her. Her hands were pressed against his chest in surprise, but she slowly let them roam from his chest up around his neck, almost pulling him into the kiss more.
Amy pressed her body to his, and felt the warmth of the sun on her feet. She wondered how Kenric was able to stand it, considering his feet must have been in the direct line of "fire". The feeling to be back with Kenric again, kissing him, feeling the passion he had in him was driving her wild. She didn't think he was going to do this, but she was completely ecstatic about it. She returned the passion tenfold, pouring all her longing and the years of missing him out.

Her response just urged him on and Kenric gave no sign of stopping. Right now, he saw no point in not going all the way, both were now willing enough, why not just do it? A huge internal battle began brewing inside of him between the upper and lower halves of his body.
On one hand, he really wanted this. On the other, he wasn’t one hundred percent sure if he could do it without putting her in harms way. Kissing was one thing, but engaging in a much more intimate act was a totally different story. Suddenly, fear, anger, and logic won over and he broke the kiss suddenly, stepping back a few paces and running a hand through his hair. “Sorry,” he muttered, shaking his head and trying to clear his thoughts.

When he suddenly broke away, she looked at him worredly. "Wha-what did I do?" She moved to her bed again, pulling her hair from her messy bun and shaking it out. "I mean... I look good, we love each other, I think. I just..." She flopped onto her bed, her hands over her eyes again. Amy brought one leg up on her bed, not realizing it had slipped from her robe; the garter (and practically everything she wore on her bottom half) could be seen.
It was even a romantic setting! She gave a soft groan, not even bothering to look at him. Once again, she had done something wrong and ruined another good night.

“No, no, you didn’t do anything!” he told her, his hands out in front of him as though trying to ward someone off. “You do look good, and I do love you, a lot!” he clarified, one hand on his hip and the other pushing his hair out of his face, his back to her. “It’s compli—” he turned back to look at her as he tried to get the word out of his mouth fast but shut it just as quickly.
He stood there quietly for a few seconds, mouth agape, eyes running up and down her body like monsters. Turning around, he pressed his back up against the wall and slid to the floor, sitting down and keeping his eyes glue to her body. He wanted her, but his better judgment and sheer fear of screwing everything up and maybe even hurting her kept him from doing anything. But while on that bed, sitting like that, dressed like that, she looked amazing, hot, sexy! Damn his good judgment.

"Complicated!?" Amy sat up and looked at him, almost angry. "How can it be complicated?! It's literally as easy plugging in a lamp. Am I just... Not good enough?" The little tie around her robe slipped, opening it up. She closed it quickly and sighed, shaking her head. Standing up, she made her way to the curtain, close to where he sat, her bare legs close to his body, and closed the curtain tightly.
Taking out a small, purple lighter, she lit three candles and turned out the light. "Maybe if I was a vampire, I'd be good enough,"she muttered, sitting back on her bed and looking at their picture. Times had changed... She shrugged the robe off and hung it up, not caring that she was barely dressed. "You can stay here tonight if you want." Her body just seemed to give up; grabbing one of her photo albums, she glanced at the pictures she had taken years ago and gave a sad sigh. Times had indeed changed...

“Amy, think logically for a second, please,” he urged, walking over to one side of her bed. “There is no one in this world, vampire or otherwise, who I find myself more attracted too. What you are has nothing to do with it, I love you, not whatever race you are.” He got on his knees so that he was closer to her eye level and put his elbows on the bed with his chin in his hands, “but what I am does make a difference, do you know how appealing you blood is to me? Kissing you is one thing I’ve gotten better at handling, but anything else, I’m not sure what I’d do, and I don’t want to take that chance.”
Taking a small risk, he climbed onto her bed and sat down next to her. “Please don’t be mad at me, I’m only trying to look out for you,” he stroked her hair, a sad smile on his lips.

She closed the photo album and shrugged. "I don't think you'd hurt me,"she answered, still not looking at him. "I honestly don't think you have it in you. Can't my power help that at all anyway?" Brushing her hair so it was over her shoulder, she let out a sad sigh. "Kenric, you know if I was like you, we wouldn't have to worry about this." Her body slumped and she bent over to place the photo album on the floor.
"Would we ever...do anything more? If we were to get back together officially, and how long would it take?" Now she looked at him, her eyes filled with a soft sadness. "If we can't do anything now, what would change? You aren't getting any older, but I'm not getting any younger, either." Everything just felt wrong now. Forcing back the tears, she blew out her candles and sighed again. "You can sleep in here with me if you want. I won't make you do anything you don't want to do."

“I didn’t think I could hurt a lot of people, but I’m always wrong,” he muttered softly, still stroking her hair. “I don’t know what your power would do. I’m dead, practically. The only reason I’m still here is because I’m a vampire, if that goes away…I’m not sure what could happen.” He thought about her last comment, about becoming like him, and he frowned. “Why would you want a cursed life like this?” he laughed, a small, sad, laugh.
At her other question, he sat there silently for a second, contemplating. “I would hope so,” he told her, “I want to,” he added, to know that he shared the same needs and wants as her. “It shouldn’t take too long, not that I can be around you more, I can behave better, I can get stronger and beat this curse,” he muttered, leaning his cheek on her head and taking in the scent of her hair.
Suddenly grinning after hearing her offer of him sleeping at her place, he jumped off for a second and kicked off his shoes, after that, he worked on the buttons of his shirt and took that off as well, along with his belt. “I hope you don’t mind,” he told her as he lay back down on the bed, wrapping an arm around her, “I’m a little cold,” he joked, grabbing her hand and placing it square in the middle of his chest.

"It doesn't have to take away all of your power-thing,"she mumbled. "It may be able to help fight the urge..." A cursed life. "At least we'd be together, then, if I had a 'cursed life' like you." Amy watched him undress and shook her head. "Don't tease me more than I've already been teased, Kenric." She did give his chest a small tickle, before leaving the bed, grabbing a large shirt from her dresser and walking into the bathroom.
With only the t-shirt on, that fell to her knees, she crawled into bed with him and snuggled up to him, wiping away the last of the tears she had shed in the bathroom. He was very cold; leaning on one elbow, she leaned down and gave him a small kiss before resting her head on his shoulder. "Good night, I guess..."

Kenric could offer very little comment to what she had to say about becoming a vampire, and the effects of her power on his. When she said something about him teasing her, though, he laughed, “your little outfit had me going crazy, I think I’m allowed to take off my shirt and get away with it,” he muttered.
Sitting silently on the bed, Kenric waited for Amy to return to the bed. When she finally emerged from the bathroom, he laid there silently until she has gotten comfortable. “Good Night,” he replied, holding her close. At this moment and time, it was pretty impossible for Kenric to really sleep, I mean, he rarely did, but with her lying next to him, it was just a little bit harder. Without any complaint, he stayed up all night, laying there, resting his eyes every once in a while, spending the night with the woman he loved.
The first rays of sunlight that battled their way through a small part in the curtains of Amy’s apartment quickly caught Kenric’s attention. Morning had arrived much too soon, he wasn’t sure what it meant for them exactly. Would he get kicked out and see her whenever they happened to run into each other again? Would everything just stop right here? The idea was too horrifying for words.
Slowly and carefully getting off his side of the bed, he went over the Amy’s side and sat up against the wall that she was facing. From here, he could see her face perfectly, so quiet and peaceful at such a morning. He ran a hand over his bare chest and then brought his knees up to it, staying as quiet as possible and just enjoying the peaceful, quiet morning.

She had poked his rib when he said something about her outfit. "I'll be sure never to wear it again, then." Giving a small yawn, she curled up in her blankets, wrapped an arm around him and let herself fall into one of the deepest sleeps she had ever experienced. With Kenric there, Amy felt extremely safe, safer than she had in a long time.
Her dreams, on the other hand, were some of the worst she had ever experienced. It started much like the night had, with them returning to her room and Kenric turning her around and kissing her. Things had advanced significantly in her dream the way she had wanted them to in reality. And as she lay there, looking up at him, Amy had watched his eyes turn a shade of red even she had never seen before. Before she could say anything, he had bent down and bit her neck. Usually she wouldn't complain about this, but she knew the only reason he had bitten her this time was to feed.
Pushing him off was easy enough (hey, it's a dream) but while she yelled at him, a very tall, pale woman appeared out of nowhere and wrapped her arms around Kenric. He then told Amy that they could never work; he stopped aging at seventeen but, well, look at her. She had aged. He said he could only be with one of his kind. With his arm around the other woman, he just left Amy without a second glance.
Something didn't feel right in her sleep. There was something missing... Opening her eyes, she saw that Kenric had left. Her dream hadn't been real, had it? Amy looked around, still a little out of it from sleep. Looking back to how she had been facing, she saw him setting there; she gave a jump and sighed, grabbing her chest where her heart would be. "You scared the shit out of me." Rubbing the sleep from her eyes, she flopped back on the bed and stretched her body out, trying to wake up. How early was it? "What do you wanna do today?"Amy asked, holding her arms out for him to hug her, her eyes still closed from just waking up. As long as her worst nightmare didn't come true, she would be happy as could be. She had a feeling it would be the only way they would ever get intimate, though; if she were a vampire too.
