tagg; dappled *A few hours earlier*
"Listen, kid. If you ever want to join the United States Army, we've got the perfect place for you. The world is becoming a dangerous place and we need people like you to defend against our enemies. What do you say?"
Eris stared at the older man hesitantly, trying to figure out any possible way he could get out of the situation. Somehow an army recruiter had managed to find his way to the island, he knew he wasn't the only person this man was looking for and he definitely wasn't going to be the last. "I've got to get back to school," with that Eris rushed off as quickly as he could. Behind him, as the recruiter tried to follow - the older man was stopped by some strange force. "You've got my card! Call me if you change your mind!" The man yelled at Eris.
---
Underneath the great willow tree, Eris leaned his back against its bark - letting out a small sigh as he stared down at a small business card in his hand. The souls in his mind were quiet for the time being almost as if they sensed he needed to have some time to think. Days and months passed and Eris knew with every moment that he needed to make a decision on what he was going to do in his adult life. After all, it wasn't like he could stay on this island forever.
Most of his teachers insisted that he could pick whatever he wanted, but even at that the young man felt like he didn't really have a desire to pick anything. Folding the card in his hand and sliding it into his pocket, Eris looked up from where he was sitting toward the sky.
It was a dreary day today, having just snowed a few days earlier the sky was a mix of grays, whites and subtle touches of somber looking blues. The spot in question Eris was sitting in only had a small bit of frost on it, allowing Eris to sit comfortably in the silence for awhile. There was always something about the winter that made the world seemed all the more softer.

iris
Of course. Iris seemed to be destined for failure, and this was just the cherry to top it off. With an old map clutched between her frostbitten fingers, the lanky girl had managed to find herself in... A meadow? Blanketed with snow, the vastness of the expanse was frighteningly intimidating. And, to add insult to injury, her thinly knit sweater left her ill prepared for the frigid weather. Wasn't she near the courtyard? Or maybe at least the conservatory? Apparently not, she thought, swallowing her nerves to the best of her abilities. She always seemed to be getting lost, and maybe it was her terrible memory, but she thought she'd mapped out where she needed to go at least a few times. Walking to and from her classrooms and ensuring her route was fool-proof was usually her first task before the start of every semester, but maybe the weather had thrown her off. The monochromatic landscape seemed even more indiscernible in the snow... Clutching one hand against the jagged rock around her neck and the other on the map, panic swelled in Iris's chest. If she was late, then Minnie's hard-earned money and work to get her in attendance would've been wasted. What kind of person would that make her? "C-Courtyard," she murmured to herself, her nose buried in a map that didn't make sense. "C-Court.. N-No, maybe... R-R-R-Roses?" Iris whispered as her breathing quickened. She knew a full-fledged panic attack was only a few moments away, and when black began to creep into the edges of her vision, she was jolted to attention by... Her own feet slipping out from underneath her. With a pitiful squeak, the girl was doused in a flutter of snow with her legs not-so-gracefully splayed out to her sides. Slowly placing her bare hands onto the ice, she winced as she barely wobbled to a stand, muttering quietly to herself, "O-O-O-Oh.. O-O-Oh d-d-dear..." The horror of her situation left her completely oblivious to a potential onlooker nearby.

A sudden almost mouse-like squeak caught Eris's attention as he stood up and turned slightly to where the noise was coming from. As he noted that it was a girl that had made such a noise, it was almost as if that was an invitation for the souls to start talking once more. 'Don't just stand around! Go help the poor girl.'
'Exactly, it is pretty cold right now.'
'Let her freeze, it'd be less bother for you anyhow.'
"I'm pretty sure it'd be more actually," Eris mumbled to Erebus as he started to make his way toward the damsel in distress. Once he started to close the distance, Eris hesitated for a moment - taking in the appearance of the said girl in question. Despite the unusual predicament she was in, the young man couldn't help but admire her appearance - that was until he noticed the shaking in her hands and arms. "Are you alright? Here, I can help you up..." Eris reached one hand out toward the girl for her to grab, concern spreading across his face as he was fully aware of how cold it could possibly be to fall into the snow.

iris
As if this day couldn't get any worse, a "gray" figure seemed to be ambling towards her. Well, if it had an identifiable color, then it had to be a person. Fantastic. Iris was stricken with fear as she observed the man before her, but perhaps not physically. Flickers of... Some sorts of multidimensional emotions sparkled beneath the monotonous color, but it wasn't until he offered an outstretched hand that a friendly yellow began to bleed into his form. He.. He saw that. As if Iris didn't already have enough troubles dealing with people, this surely was just the beginning of a long stream of ruined first impressions. Iris breathed out a long sigh as she stared at his hand for a few moments, before registering that he'd said something. Oh no, this had to be the worst part. He went out of his way to come over to her, the least she could do was answer him. As Minnie always reminded her, silence is a double-edged sword, golden and rude all at once. "... I-I-I-I-I-I... I-I-I.." she began, feebly extending her hand to brush his, before quickly retracting it, "I-I-I-I-I... C-C-C-Can m-manage, th-th-thank y-you.." She managed to wobble to a stand once again, but her mind was whirling. All she could hope was that the cold would give her an excuse for the stuttering, but it was becoming the least of her problems. She could feel her hands start to crack and bleed as she spoke, and the once limp map had frozen in place between her fingers. At this point, the ink was beyond repair, and Iris was coming to terms with being completely lost. Again. She opened her mouth to ask this boy where she could at least get back to the dorms or get inside, but she shut it almost just as quickly. She'd already managed to force him out of his way by just falling over, what made her think that he wanted to help her further? But her cracked hands argued that a different point. "S-S-S-S-S-S.... S-S-Sorry t-t-to b-b-bother y-you," she breathed, holding the map close to her face, as if that could somehow make the map decipherable, "Wh-Wh... Wh-Where's th-the... C-C-C-Courtyard? A-A-A-Am I-I c-c-close?"

As soon as Iris started to speak, an annoyed sigh rang through Eris's head 'Are her vocal chords broken or something?' The young man chose to ignore the soul for the time being though and focused his attention on what was before him. "Well, alright?" Eris said then, seeming almost confused at her refusal for his help. As she stood up, he examined her once more - noting the the injury to her hands. "Are you absolutely sure you don't need any help?" Eris said to her then, albeit a bit awkwardly as his eyes motioned toward her hands.
It was then that the young woman asked for directions to the Court yard, "You are close, I'll take you the rest of the way." Eris reached his arm out toward the girl this time, making a motion for her to take his elbow so that he could guide her to her destination. Normally the young man wouldn't go quite out of his way for someone like this, but there was this strange urge in the back of his mind that pushed him.
Not to mention the girl looked much colder than he was in this weather, Eris in question was clad in dark jeans and a black pea coat that stopped at his thighs. The outfit would have almost gone together if it wasn't for the fact he was wearing grey tennis shoes.

iris The girl couldn't help but breathe a sigh of relief. If she was close, then she wasn't hopeless! Or at least, she wasn't as hopeless as she'd once thought. It might've been against every fiber of her being to ask for help, but the payoff was worth the anxiety tearing up her insides. "O-O-Oh, I-I-I-I'm s-so glad t-t-t-to h-h-hear, th-th-thank y-y-you th-th-th-thank you," was all she could manage between the chattering of her teeth. Maybe she was being a little excessive with the gratitude and kindness, but it was the only way Iris knew how to interact with others. She was always in the wrong, and even if she's just met someone it's her job to do whatever it takes to make it up to another for her own incompetence. It wasn't until he offered his help for the second time that her gut wrenched in dread. Should she refuse his help again and risk being rude? Or would accepting it be forcing him to go out of his way? What was the right social choice here? With a sigh of defeat, the young woman curled her nearly frozen hand around his elbow, murmuring a soft "O-Okay, th-th-thank y-y-you, I-I-I-I-I h-h-h-hope it's n-n-no trouble." Her wet boots slushed against the ice as she tried to bring some circulation back into her fingers by flexing them. If she was going to be polite and accept his offer, she should probably use some of the techniques Minnie taught her for the dreaded "small talk." But, Iris wasn't that adept at social cues yet. "M-M-M-M-My h-h-hands a-a-are bloody, I-I-I do n-n-n-not want t-t-t-t-t-to s-s-s-stain your c-c-coat--" and just as she began to remove her rigid limbs from his, her now icy legs seemed to lack any and all support, and she took a royal tumble back onto the ground. This time, she managed to land more on her side, to spare at least one part of her body from the bitter, bitter cold of snow on bare skin. She whimpered quietly as her hand scraped the surface of the snow, gripping it tightly in her other hand and avoiding eye contact with the boy beside her, "... I-I-I-I-I... O-O-Oh.. I-I-I think i-i-i-it's best i-i-i-if I-I-I m-meet you th-th-there, s-s-s-sir.."

Iris expressed her gratitude what seemed to be at least five or six times, but as she did Eris had a hard time focusing in on her words - more so the young man noted the movement of her lips, the shape of her face and the young woman's delicate skin. It was when she moved to grasp his arm, that Eris was brought back to the reality - blinking in surprise with a sharp intake of breath. "I don't mind at all, I don't have any classes going on today." Eris said to the girl then, realizing then that they hadn't exchanged names yet.
"Well, I can just wash it later... It's okay, by the way what's -" Eris's question was cut short when the girl slipped from his arm and landed back down in the snow again. The young man wasn't sure what to make of this whole situation, it seemed to be only then that the souls in his body knew what to do. 'Leto! Are you just going to sit around and let this happen? It's obvious he likes the girl, get out there and help!' Gaia exclaimed at her opposite. The soul in question had been snickering when the attention was brought to her, 'Do I have too?'
Eris felt a sudden surge of energy through his body, as if Gaia had literally pushed Leto into her doll. The teenager's control on these souls were haphazard at times, it was lucky for him that Gaia actually liked him. As Eris started to bend down to help Iris back up once more, a grumbling Leto came stumbling out of the young man's messenger bag and proceeded to fall into the snow clumsily.
"Jeez! This is too cold!" Leto yelled, the thin layer of said snow melting around her as the doll moved onto her own two feet. "Just be careful, please." Eris said to the doll then, looking over to Iris apologetically. "This is Leto, she thought she could help you more than I could." A slight lie, considering the doll had been pushed - but got the point across nonetheless.
Leto ambled over to Iris's hand that been gripping the snow, giving Eris a quick glare before shaking her tiny arms at the young woman. "Hey, you! Pick me up and hold me in your hands and then Eris will pick you up! Capiche?"
Eris hesitated momentarily, already having a slight inkling of what the fire doll was planning. "She's not going to hurt you or anything," Eris said to the girl then. "I'll help you up," Eris volunteered his services once more - slowly and carefully reaching for the girls arm once more as if waiting to see if she would shake him away.

The boy appeared to have only her best interests in mind, but Minnie did always reprimand her naïve outlook. Regardless, Iris peered up to see a completely puzzled stranger at a loss for words. Well, her klutziness wasn't necessarily the most inviting for conversation... A few hints of a greenish-gray spotted along the side of his forearm, as if to commemorate the slight awkwardness of his demeanor. Calm, yet tinged with discomfort. And Iris could certainly relate to that. Just as he was asking her a question to spark a conversation, she'd gone tumbling back to the ground. Hey, maybe it was where she belonged at this point. Ordinarily, the young woman would've sought familiar comfort by pricking her fingers, but curling her fingers into a fist was a challenge in itself. She wordlessly watched him bend down, at least for the second time, to help her up again. Well, so much for meeting him there. And, before he could get another word out, a... Toy, or some enchanted doll, tumbled into the snow. "Jeez, this is too cold!" it screamed. Iris matched its pitch with her own squeal of terror. Maybe if she hadn't been frozen to the bone she might've tried to crawl away from it, but the boy quickly tried to reassure her that it "wouldn't hurt her." So it had hurt people before? "Wh-Wh-Wh-Wh-Wh-What i-i-i-i-is th-th-th-that?" she whispered, pointing a finger at this little doll in question. Apparently, its name was Leto, and it... Came from this stranger? And it thought it could help? Before she knew it, the doll was ordering her to pick it up. "O-O-Okay, s-s-s-s-sorry," she murmured, gulping down her flutters of social anxiety for the sake of appeasing Leto and the stranger, and promptly scooped up the doll in her trembling palms. And, as if on cue, she met the boy's extended arm with her own, murmuring a soft, "U-U-U-U-Uhm, yeah, o-o-okay.." Well, things couldn't possibly get any worse or more awkward, could they?

Iris's reaction to Leto wasn't really uncommon. Most people typically thought it very creepy at first and the select few who didn't, well... he wondered about them sometimes. Eris attempted to explain himself as the girl asked what Leto was, "It's my power. I'm not controlling her though, well I can but..." suddenly Eris felt at a loss of words and as he did the young woman had moved to pick Leto up. 'It's okay, sweetie she'll understand in time.' Athena spoke to Eris reassuringly. "That doesn't really help things," Eris mumbled then only briefly unaware that Iris could hear him talking to himself.
As Leto was picked up though, the tiny doll started to emit a gentle heat through it's whole body - meant to spread into Iris's body as well. The little doll, although not having the kind of skill over their element like the other soul's did could at least do this much. Otherwise, Leto stayed silent - as if she were pouting because she had to help Iris in the first place.
Eris moved to help Iris up then, giving her a gentle lift so that the girl was now back on her own two feet. Once they were on equal standing again, Eris looked away awkwardly for moment - "The doll is a apart of me, but it isn't me. I'm just a puppeteer," That was the easiest way Eris felt he could explain - how else could he expect this girl he just met to understand? "Can I just help you inside, instead?" Eris asked her then.

As she landed back on her feet, Iris was able to gauge her surroundings a little bit better. The boy, who she could've sworn the doll had called a name but she couldn't remember, refused to meet her gaze in an awkward nature similar to her own. It was a little reassuring, actually. And, the animate creature--Leto?--seated in her palms was... Glowing? Iris furrowed her brow, holding Leto a bit closer to her face in question, "U-U-Um, wh-wh-what--" she began, but quickly cut off as heat radiated against her hands. For someone who couldn't have been more cold and wet, this was surely a blessing from the gods. "O-O-O-Oh my g-g-g-goodness! Th-Th-That's w-w-wonderful!" Iris exclaimed, a smile tugging at the corners of her mouth. In all her time at the orphanage, she never once encountered someone with a "supernatural" ability, and it was thrilling to witness firsthand. The young woman slowly began to flex her fingers, and despite the harsh contrast between the weather and the soft warmth of the doll, they were starting to regain some mobility. "The doll is a apart of me, but it isn't me. I'm just a puppeteer." The primarily yellow boy was just full of surprises, it seemed. The wonder and amazement surrounding his abilities seemed to have washed away at least a part of Iris's initial anxiety, and she spoke excitedly and fervently, "D-D-D-D-Do you h-h-h-have other p-p-p-puppets? C-C-Can you c-c-control all p-p-puppets? L-L-L-Leto is v-v-very cute, a-a-and sh-sh-she's s-so g-g-gifted! Y-Y-Y-You r-r-really have a l-l-lovely p-power!" Maybe she wasn't aware of how excessive her praise was, but naivety left her blissfully unaware of it. "Y-Y-Yes," she responded, almost having forgot the task at hand, "W-W-W-We should p-p-p-probably... H-H-H-H-Head i-i-i-inside.." Some of Iris's initial zeal was calmed, but at this point, she was exponentially happier than she had been only moments ago.

Leto peered up carefully at the girl and she was exhilarated at the heat that the little doll was emitting. Both Eris and Leto seemed to be surprised at her sudden enthusiasm, had she never seen powers used before? "I have four others," Eris started off slowly - pleased that at least she was a little bit warmer now. "I can only control five total," the young man explained then.
"If we let him," Leto remarked then with a sassy sort of attitude. At Iris's compliments a silly sort of smile came to the doll's face, "You don't have to lay it on so thick." Leto said then seemingly embarrassed. As Iris agreed that they should go inside, Eris nodded motioning for her to follow him as started on a path back toward the school.
[ooc; I'm sorry it's a little short! I just figured I would get them walking back inside. ^^;]

Sure, Iris had maybe glimpsed at Sandra's and part of other student's powers, but they never failed to entertain and amaze her. They were humans, but they could bend and warp reality to their liking! Did nobody else see that? When Eris mentioned that he had other dolls, she wondered if they'd also make an appearance, but she chose not to ask. He didn't look too thrilled that Leto was here, and maybe, like her, he was physically drained from using his ability. She managed to stutter a quick apology when Leto chided her for the compliments, but it was soon overlooked as Foresta Academy came into view. As feeling slowly crawled back into her frostbitten fingers, she couldn't have been more thankful to approach the entrance hall. "Th-Th-Th-Thank g-g-g-g-goodness w-w-we made i-i-it, I-I-I c-c-c-couldn't have d-d-done it w-without y-y-y.. Y-Y-You," she sputtered, hardly able to speak between her own stuttering and the clattering of her teeth. Still cradling the doll in her palms, Iris stepped through the door, exhaling a sigh of relief as warm air washed over her. Her legs might've well been frozen, and the young woman was finding it too difficult to move them... Maybe she'd just stand around until they thawed a bit. Pivoting towards the boy, she carefully extended her hands to hold Leto out toward him, "I-I don't w-w-w-want to f-f-forget to g-g-give her back, th-th-thank you s-s-so m-m-much, t-t-to b-b-both of y-y-you, f-f-f-for helping me g-g-get back i-i-inside.." Ordinarily Iris might've encouraged the boy to leave, to resume his day without her burden, but he'd done her a favor. The least she could do was show some hospitality, right? That had to be the explanation for her, albeit small, slight extroversion. "I-I-I-I'm... I-I-Iris," she breathed, reaching out a frozen raw hand towards him. She recalled the hours of practice that Minnie pushed her through each and every day for moments like this, moments where she had to interact comfortably with those around her. Judging by her interactions with Sandra, that girl Olwen, and this boy, she was doing well; perhaps above her expectations. "I-I-I'm," Iris continued tentatively, "I-I-I'm in th-th-the L-Lyra d-d-dorm, b-b-b-but I h-h-haven't s-s-seen you a-a-around, s-s-s-so... Wh-Which d-d-dorm are you i-i-in?" Jeez, initiating conversation? Iris could've sworn that she was going to shiver right out of her skin from the anxiety. Relax, you're doing fine, love, Minnie's mantra encouraged, and Iris managed to maintain at least a few seconds of eye contact with the boy, before her gaze wandered back to the ground.

As Foresta came into view and Iris started stuttering out more thank you's, Eris felt his cheeks gain a bit of warmth as they stepped inside the school. The young man wouldn't admit it was more from Iris's gratitude than anything else. 'Oh, she's so adorable! You must spend more time with her!'
"She's probably got somewhere else to be," Eris muttered - catching himself when he realized he had been speaking out loud to the souls instead of in his mind. Iris held Leto out toward him and with ease Eris held his hand out for the doll, watching as Leto let out a small 'A-Yup!' and jumped from Iris's hands to his own. Within seconds though the little doll soon become lifeless and collapsed. As this happened, Eris slid the puppet back into his bag. "Leto didn't mind, she just likes to fight so when I bring her out for anything else she usually gets crabby."
" - and I well... it really was no trouble at all. I'm Eris." The young man looked down at her hand as she stretched it out toward him, in response he took her hand in one of his then laid the other one over it in a very smooth manner. "It's a pleasure to meet you," If it hadn't been for the small twinkle of happiness in his eyes - one would have might assumed he was lying because of the even expression he held.
Letting her hand go after a few seconds, Eris was suddenly reminded of the army recruiter from earlier in the day as she asked about his dorm. "Serpens, which is probably why we haven't seen each other." Eris replied then, stepping closer to Iris momentarily as the entrance hall doors were opened once more - a few first year students passing behind him.
"I - uh, sorry." Eris wasn't very conscious of the sudden invasion of the girls space until everything was said and done. Once the proximity between them had been closed, Eris took a deep breath - smelling something very sweet and almost flowery. It was a subtle sort of smell, but caught his attention nonetheless. Embarrassed, the young man stepped back as soon as the first year students had passed. "Have you been going to this school long?" Eris asked his companion then, with a slight tone of curiosity.

This boy--Eris, she now learned--had an odd habit of muttering to himself. Of course, Iris had absolutely no room to judge; she pricked her fingers on a daily basis. And besides, he seemed kind... "Leto didn't mind, she just likes to fight so when I bring her out for anything else she usually gets crabby," Eris responded, encouraging a smile of relief from the girl. "I-I-I am g-g-g-glad to h-h-h-h-hear th-th-that," she answered, noticing a few flecks of a fiery crimson against Eris's cheek. Well... Leto was a part of him in some aspect, it was making some sort of sense. Iris forced back a wince as he firmly returned her handshake. If her hands weren't stripped raw, that might've even been sweet. But, alas, subtle social nuances weren't the girl's strong suit. Their names were almost comically similar, but Iris almost felt like it was a sign of familiarity. "...Serpens..." The name was obviously familiar, but the girl was constantly losing track of who belonged to which dorm. As far as she could recall, it was a dorm that suited "the ambitious type," but Eris... Well, maybe she was being a little too quick to judge. But, before she could comment on that, he began to close the distance between them, muttering out a short apology. A few first-years scampered by, whispering and pointing at them as they raced down the hallway. Iris could basically feel the body heat permeating off of Eris, but whether that was because she was frostbitten or because she had some sort of sixth sense she wasn't sure. Whatever the reason, it brought some color back to her cheeks. She found herself staring intensely at her feet, memorizing the intricate patterns of the floor tiles until the distance between them was reestablished. As she slowly lifted her gaze back to his, Eris's pallet had already begun to flush itself out, consumed mostly by a gentle yellow, followed by a well-mannered cerulean and a shy, dusty rose hue. "Y-Y-Yellow," she murmured to herself, seeming to categorize him in whatever the predominant color and emotion was. She snapped back into the conversation when Eris asked about how long she'd been attending the school, "Maybe a-a-a-a-about f-f-f-four to f-f-f-five months? I-I-I-I-It's been a-a-a-a little wh-wh-wh-while." Furrowing her brow, Iris was prompted to continue a conversation for once in her life, "M-M-M-My caretaker, M-M-M-Minnie, s-s-sent me h-h-here, a-a-and she w-w-was hoping th-th-that if I-I-I-I learned h-h-h-how to c-c-control m-m-my a-a-abilities th-th-that I-I-I could l-l-live w-w-w-with her, o-o-or someone s-s-she knew." Without being too aware of it, the girl took a few steps towards him, her eyes sparkling with memories of the only woman she loved, "O-O-Oh, M-M-Minnie w-w-w-w-would've l-l-loved you! Sh-Sh-She was a-a-a-always s-s-s-so i-i-interested in g-g-g-gifted k-kids like us, sh-sh-she was never a-a-afraid, and sh-sh-she loved p-p-p-playing with dolls wh-wh-wh-when she t-t-t-took c-c-care of the o-o-o-other ch-ch-children! D-D-D-Do you th-th-think L-L-L-Leto would e-e-e-ever w-w-want to meet h-h-her? Wh-Wh-When Minnie v-v-v-visits, I-I could bring y-y-you with m-m-me!" Now just as close as Eris had been only a few moments earlier, Iris was entangled in her own words, and only realized what was happening when a few of the first-years from earlier had approached them. It was a trio of boys, maybe around fourteen- or fifteen-years-old, with devious grins plastered to their faces. "Yo dude, ya girl is bangin' my man!" one said, nodding with approval in Iris's direction. Without giving her such as a moment to defend herself, the second one chimed in, "You guys dating or what? C'mon man, you can't look me in the face and tell me you haven't tapped dat ass at least once." The boy quickly shot out his hand to give her butt a quick slap, eliciting a squeak from the girl as well as forcing her to stand considerably closer to Eris. She was trembling like never before, and true, unadulterated terror was written all over her face. What in the heck was that? Iris's face had turned as red as a rose as she shook her head, taking a step away from Eris and starting to murmur, "W-W-W-W-W-W-W... W-W-W-W-W-Wait, n-n-n-n-n-n-n-n-n..." Her shyness seemed to have gotten the best of her.

Eris noted briefly that Iris had mumbled the word yellow, the young man was briefly curious but decided to keep his thoughts to himself for the time being. 'You know, it probably has something to do with her power.'
'Oh, how wonderful! Two people that talk to themselves.'
"I don't talk to myself," Eris ground out with a slight undercurrent of annoyance. As soon as Iris started talking though, the young man's attention went completely onto her. There was a certain kind of shine that came to the girl as she started talking about this Minnie person and just for a few seconds Eris felt himself become a little jealous.
'How ridiculous, you just met the girl.' 'Oh, he's allowed to have a crush!' 'Not if it's the creepy stalker kind.'
Eris opened his mouth briefly and stopped, his eyebrows raised in slight surprise as Iris exclaimed that she could bring him with her to meet this woman. "Oh, s-sure." Eris had been so caught off by the three people talking all at once that he had managed a jumbled compliance without realizing what he had been agreeing too.
'Yeah, that was definitely creepy.'
Before Eris had a chance to actually respond to Iris's ramblings about her caretaker, the first year boys had come back - commenting on the teen's appearance. Eris had started to step forward to put himself in between Iris in the boys, that was until one of them reached out to slap Iris on the rear.
It was then that the young man felt a sudden inexplicable heat spread through his body, his vision going blurry - it wasn't until a few seconds later that Eris realized this heat was coming from his bag instead. Dropping it off his shoulder like a hot potato, the bag fell to the ground - a shrill scream coming from inside.
Feeling dizzy, Eris reached his arm out in front Iris to push her back a few feet - putting distance between them, the boys and the tiny doll that shot out of the bag like a cannon ball. Having gained some mystical amount of force (enough at least to launch herself from the ground), Leto aimed herself at the forehead of the boy that had slapped Iris.
Connecting feet first, the boy in question took a few steps back in surprise at the appearance of such a tiny thing "What the fuck is - "
"I'M YOUR DOOM, DON'T YOU EVER TOUCH ANY GIRL'S BUTT EVER AGAIN." Having grabbed onto the boys eyebrow hairs, Leto's body hung over his nose and her feet dangled by his lips. The boy reached up to pull her off, but just as his hand connected the whole doll lit on fire and Eris lost his footing for a moment - stumbling back against a wall that him and Iris were close too.
