Jace grimaced as Mrs. Porter let off another torrent of Spanish, no doubt telling him all about his 'incompetence' She's calling you an incompetent wretch Dylan informed him. Jace winced yep he was right, "the wretch bit hurts, was there really any need?" he asked the smirking ghost. Should I ask her? he inquired with a mischievous smile and Jace frantically shook his head, for all the good it done him, Dylan was already chatting rapidly in Spanish and from the growing anger on the old woman's face it wasn't anything nice either. Jace sighed and ran a hand through his already tousled hair, he was tired, he hadn't slept a wink that night thanks to this ghost pestering him. He couldn't actually understand a word she said, not that it mattered to her, but even with Dylan's helpful translations Jace knew that this was going to be one of those cases where he couldn't do anything. Mrs. Porter has been murdered and she somehow expected Jace to bring her killer to justice. It didn't seem to matter that she had not seen her attacker and only had a 'suspicion' that it was her husband. She expected him to go to the police with no evidence except for the 'I'm talking to the dead victim now.' Like he wouldn't be throw straight into a loony bin. His eyes were getting heavy and he knew that there were awful looking black circles around them. He sighed again and turned to Dylan "will you just tell her I'll have to do some sort of research on the whole justice thing before I can take some action" it was a sort of truth, he would go to the library and look up some books that could help him but he knew that it was more likely that he would fall asleep. She says that she understands Dylan responded. Jace nodded automatically and watched as Mrs. Porter just disappeared. POOF! just like that. He let out a sigh of relief and grinned at Dylan "thank god! I thought she'd never leave" he basked in the silence for a few moments before heaving himself to his feet and picking up his backpack. "Come on then... to the library!" Dylan only stared at him. You were serious? he asked incredulously. Jace nodded "I kind of have to be... mind if I fall asleep try not to wake me unless it's an emergency" Dylan nodded in return and they trailed to the library. Jace slid his earphones into his ears, most people left him alone that way. He didn't like the library most days it was too crowded for his liking, too full of people. He found the law section easily enough and pulled out a few old looking books. He found his own table in the corner and began to read, it wasn't that full for once and Jace was glad, he turned his music down, more so he wouldn't get wrong then anything else. It wasn't long before he had laid his head down on the desk and closed his eyes. He was asleep before he had time to register the song 'Time To Dance' by Panic! At The Disco start to play on his IPod.

Izzy stood in the terrific downpour, soaked and knew she had to head indoors. She had been practising her control over the raindrops at first, keeping them off her as she wasn't dressed for such weather in her black tank top and black skirt, she'd been feeling particularly happy that morning when she'd dressed, hence the black. But then the fun of using her power had gotten boring, she had longed to feel the water crash against her bare arms and legs, so she let it. Staying outside in such a downpour meant that there was actually no one around, letting her happy mood and the high she'd gotten off her power take away her sensibilities Izzy had raced around like a five year old would. But her fun soon ended and turning her ever present iPod's volume up to high she had calmed herself and headed inside. Once indoors Izzy flicked her soaking fringe out of her eyes and managed to splash water onto some student she didn't know. "Sorry," Izzy quickly apologised to the glaring teen and moved on. The water was dripping off her and she was now regretting showing her skin, knowing that the burns were made ever more noticeable by the sheen of water covering her skin. swallowing the lump that had developed in her throat she shook out her short hair again, this time without managing to upset anyone and continued forward, she debated going to her dorm, getting dry and changed but knew that it would be crowded with people who'd escaped the rain. Clicking her tongue bar against her teeth she made a decision to head to the library if only because she hadn't actually been there much. As she neared the place she crossed her fingers and hoped that the place wouldn't be too full. Izzy pushed open the door and sighed in relief, it was relatively quiet and she thought she could probably skulk into an empty area and sit and get dry. She knew she could use her power and make the water move off of her but she had exhausted herself holding back the rain earlier so decided it was probably best not to. Dripping as she went she got a few filthy looks tossed her way but Izzy just pretended not to notice and headed off in search of somewhere to sit. Izzy wandered between some shelves and found herself in the law section, pulling out her iPod she turned the volume down and tapped her fingers against her side to the opening beat of Stab My Back by the All American Rejects, intent on finding somewhere with no people around she was about to move on when she saw a boy with his head on the desk, curiousity winning out over her no people rule she moved slightly closer. That was when it became clear that this boy was asleep, Izzy felt her smirk twitch and tried to hold back the inevitable laughter. Unable to stop herself, a loud laugh flew from her lips and she immediately turned around to make a hasty retreat ...afraid she may have woken him.

Jace, Jace. Oh for god's sake. WAKE. UP. Dylan accompanied each word with a sharp shake. Jace blinked rapidly to try and clear the sleep from his eyes, not that it helped. Much. He rounded on Dylan, "is this an emergency?" he demanded, a little cranky because of his sleep deprived state. Fine then, if you want to be like that I guess I'll just leave and you'll never find out why I woke you then The stubborn ghost started to fade and Jace sighed, now fully awake. "Fine, sorry. What did you wake me for?" he resisted the urge to add something to the end and rubbed his temples. He was starting to get a headache. Actually it's two things Dylan started, snapping back into sight so fast that Jace knew that he had had no intention of ever leaving. Jace groaned, still massaging his forehead "okay, shoot" he said, trying his best to be patient. Dylan gave him a funny look and Jace realised that his voice probably showed the strain, but he continued anyway. First, Mrs. Porter... Jace winced, he had a feeling he knew what was coming - she was back. Dylan saw his face and smirked. Don't worry, she's not back... he sighed in relief then frowned "so...?" he questioned So... her husbands here Jace banged his head on the desk "can you not just tell him to go away?" Well... I could but that would mean I didn't get to annoy you Jace groaned again "and what's the second thing?" See that girl there? She just laughed at you Jace looked to where Dylan was pointing; a girl with short black hair and all black clothes was retreating hastily. “How is that an emergency? In fact how is either of those an emergency?” he asked, his gaze not leaving the girl. Fine. Next time some one laughs at you I won’t say a thing Dylan started to fade, his arms folded and Jace sighed. Great, he’d gone in a huff. As if things weren’t bad enough, Mrs. Porter took that moment to appear. Jace had a sneaking sensation that Dylan had let her through and sighed again. She started to yammer on in Spanish again, she didn’t sound happy – again. “Hey…” Jace called out before he registered what he was doing “you wouldn’t happen to know Spanish would you?” god what am I doing? he thought why am I talking to this stranger? Jace ran a hand through his hair and took a deep breath, slipping his hand into his pocket to curl around his lighter – it made him feel stronger somehow.

Izzy heard him move and silently cursed herself, knowing she would be out of sight soon she hurried herself a little more. She was just about to turn the corner when she heard him, "Hey you wouldn’t happen to know Spanish would you?" His voice stopped her in her tracks and she wondered what she should do, knowing she couldn't just continue on and ignore him, she chewed on her lower lip and slowly turned back around. She forced her legs to take a few steps closer to him, she looked at him and shook her head, "erm... no sorry. And sorry for laughing." her words tumbled out of her mouth in a hurried rush. Knowing she sounded like a complete prat she forced herself to grin at him and tried to ease the tension in her limbs by shifting her weight a little. Izzy was about to turn away when she decided 'screw this ...i've got some time to kill and nothing to do' so she let her gaze fall back on the boy. She nervously started to fiddle with her turquiose bracelet and said "why did you ask? I mean... nevermind ...I'll just be going." Izzy had instantly regretted speaking, or even coming to the library at all, awkwardly she half smiled at the boy and turned to leave.

"erm... no sorry. And sorry for laughing. Why did you ask? I mean... never mind ...I'll just be going." Jace blinked, confused. The girl had spoken in such a frenzied rush he hadn't understood a word that she said - did she speak Spanish? did she even speak English? Jace looked down at the book on the table when he realised that he had been drooling ewww... he thought, he pulled his hand from his lighter and wiped it from the book. He hoped he didn't do that usually. The stranger was turning away and leaving "Wait!" he called, quietly of course it was still a library, but as soon as she had said it he wasn't sure why he had said it. "Erm..." he fumbled for something to say "I... er... didn't catch a word you just said" he mumbled just loud enough that she could hear. He knew that he sounded embarrassed and he flipped his hair over his eyes to cover his face, he knew that he was blushing. God he hated socialising. Smooth. Very smooth. Dylan was back and as snarky as ever, he never disappeared for long. "Shut up" Jace greeted him through gritted teeth, quietly so the girl wouldn't hear. Well sor-ry... You just sound like a complete and utter bonehead that's all Jace sighed. Mrs. Porter tapped him on the shoulder and he turned around reluctantly to be met with a sharp slap to the face. Curse the day that mediums could be touched by ghosts as if the damn things were solid. "Oh for crying out loud" Jace threw his hands up and turned to the woman who had a crazed look in her eye. She raised her hand again but this time Jace grabbed her wrist and pulled her close. "You. Were. NOT. I repeat, NOT. Murdered. By. Your. Husband." he hissed in her ear, the woman looked startled and Jace resisted the urge to hit her. Then she faded. Fast. Jace turned back to the stranger, he was still blushing furiously. He winced as he realised that she had probably heard the entire conversation and couldn’t see a thing – great, there’s another one who’ll think I’m crazy… oh well I suppose it’s for the best. He ran a hand through his hair, avoiding eye contact. God, this is gonna be a nightmare… I think I’ll stick around Dylan said grinning, completely unfazed by what Jace had said to Mrs. Porter but then again he had seen it before – and worse. His fingers circled his lighter again, this time bringing it out. He knew he couldn’t flick it on in a library – it could be disastrous but god was it tempting.

"Wait!" The words were called softly but still they made Izzy jump, stopping she didn't turn to face him, and just tugged at her bracelets ringing her wrists. His next words weren't really a surprise "I... er... didn't catch a word you just said" however the way they were spoke was. Izzy had mistakenly thought this boy would be confident and laugh at her as she had hurried away, yet the way he had mumbled those words made it apparent he was no more confident with social interactions than her. Instantly the tension and nerves left her, and the half smirk re-appeared on her face. Turning to give him an answer that would hopefully not be a mangled rush of words. She was caught off guard by his next words, ""You. Were. NOT. I repeat, NOT. Murdered. By. Your. Husband." Although they were hushed the anger behind the words was clear. Izzy knew he couldn't be talking to her but that anger scared her and she could feel the muscles in her legs, getting ready to run.
But then the boy turned towards her and she could see that he was blushing, he was embarrassed? Izzy's tension once again fled and she clicked her tongue bar comfortingly against her teeth. He was avoiding meeting her eye and just like that Izzy could feel the laughter begin to bubble and she also knew, that just like before, there would be no stopping it. The laughter exploded from her chest, the sound of it echoed around the place and she knew she had to stop but she couldn't, and knowing that she shouldn't be laughing only made it worse. The awkwardness of the situation and their embarrassment made it hard to stop, but she glanced back at this amusing boy and as she saw it, curled in his hand, the laughter immediately died.
"a lighter!?" Izzy spat the words at him. So loud she knew everyone would hear and that she'd be issued a warning very soon. Biting her lip hard, she reined in her hate, and was using before she had even made the conscious decision to. Her tattoo swirled angrily, as her slowly drying clothes and hair became bone dry. Anger spiked her actions but she couldn't help herself, she used her power and flung all of the water straight at the boy. She felt the rush of power flow through her exhausted body sapping at what little energy was left. Izzy suddenly felt very light headed and her eyes started to unfocus. She gasped and felt her legs give out, that's when the blackness took over.

Jace blushed even more as the girl started to laugh, and he hadn't thought that that would be possible. He pretended to be very interested in the table for a moment and fiddled with the lighter - still not turning it on. "a lighter!?" Something in the girl's voice made Jace look up, it wasn't just that she had practically shouted the words it was the fact that she sounded... weird. Kind of panicked, though it was coated in anger, Jace frowned what had he done? it was only a lighter after all. Now that's kind of weird Dylan said, mirroring his thoughts. "I know" Jace mumbled, quietly so that the girl wouldn't hear. No, not the behaviour the tattoo... was that there a moment ago? Jace stared over to where Jace was pointing. Sure enough there was an intricate and swirling design - and it hadn't been there before, Jace was sure of it. In Jace's book that could only mean one thing "magic" he whispered. Dylan nodded, staring with a sick fascination. Jace nudged him "this can't be good" he murmured, more to himself than the ghost. Still Jace couldn't help watching as the girl's clothes started to dry rapidly and the tattoo began to swirl quicker and quicker in mesmerising patterns. The next thing he knew, Jace was being thrown backwards into the library wall by a freezing cold body of water. His head pitched backwards and slammed into the hard concrete. His consciousness slipped in and out and black dots framed the edges of his vision. Dylan's face swam in front of him, he looked concerned but Jace could tell that he was trying desperately not to laugh. Jace blinked in quick succession to clear his temporary blindness and then pushed himself shakily to his feet. He swayed for a moment but quickly regained his strength, he was lucky there wasn’t as much water as there obviously could have been. He blinked again and glared at Dylan but he wasn’t paying attention anymore. Instead he was hovering near the girl, she didn’t look so well. Her eyes started to roll back into her head and her legs buckled, Dylan put his hands out, frustrated that they wouldn’t do a bit of good. Jace managed to stumble – quickly – over and put his own hands out. He collapsed slightly under her added weight but managed to stay on is feet with the help of Dylan. Thankfully Dylan could help him. As fast as he could – this wasn’t very fast because he still felt a little lightheaded, he placed her carefully on the table. The books he had taken from the shelf were ruined he noticed but he had more pressing issues. He was surprised that no one had come running at the noise that they surely must have made but he shook his head, dismissing the thoughts that tried to flood his mind. Shakily, he took her pulse, it was racing but considering what she had just done it seemed normal enough and she was breathing evenly. He picked up his backpack from underneath his chair and contemplated leaving her like that, but he decided against it. Instead, he dug out some smelling salts and wafted them under her nose. Vanilla, one of his least favourites but still it should do the trick.

Izzy awoke with a familiar scent teasing her senses, dizziness clutched at her head as she tried, unsuccessfully, to open her eyes and lift herself up a little. That was when she placed the scent, vanilla, it repulsed her and she knew that had she eaten that morning she would of threw up. Struggling, she forced her eyes open and saw the boy, his closeness shocked her, and then with a suddenness that made her gasp the blanks were filled in. She'd over-used, fainted? And she'd hurled water at this unexpecting stranger just because he held an unlit lighter. Shit. Izzy felt sick and lightheaded and couldn't work out if it was from passing out or the vanilla smell. She forced a tight smile onto her face and stood up, he must have moved her. She was now standing near the table next to this boy who's name she still didn't know. "I'm sorry," she whispered looking down at the toes of her baseys, "that was an overreaction..." she broke off knowing that that was an understatement and that she couldn't explain. Not knowing what to do she just stood there avoiding looking at him. Instead she looked at her inked skin, it would take it's time to fade this time, but she could already see where the ink had started to drain away.

Jace moved back as the girl got to her feet, she looked a little green and Jace wondered if she was going to pass out again, he hoped not. He watched her carefully, concerned as she looked down at her shoes. She still looked ready to throw up at any minute. He collected the vanilla smelling salts and placed them back into his bag slowly.
"I'm sorry, that was an overreaction..." he turned and blinked at the girl's words, wondering what she was talking about. Duh! she's talking about that water attack thing he remembered suddenly, some how he'd forgotten all about that. He frowned, wondering how he could forget considering he was still soaked. He shook his head at himself and turned back to his bag zipping it up firmly. Are you going to say something or not? Dylan asked sarcastically and Jace sighed. "Erm... it's all right, I... I like the rain anyway" he told the girl. Dylan smacked his hand against his forehead but Jace ignored him - as he usually did, well when he was being like this anyway. Jace looked down at his clothing, it stuck to him but he didn't mind, in fact he hardly noticed. He was out in the rain so often that wet clothes didn't restrict his movements anymore. He ran a hand through his hair, spiking it up, and looked back at the stranger, she was staring pretty fixatedly at her tattoo, it was fading but slowly. Jace patted his pockets, looking for his lighter, it didn't matter that he guessed that's why he was attacked in the first place, it comforted him. He spun around to the wall that he had hit only a few moments ago, ah, there is was. He bent carefully and picked it back up, it was damp but it should still work. He shoved it into his pocket. Are you kidding me? Dylan rolled his eyes but didn't comment further. Jace rolled his own eyes and glanced down at his trainers, they were coated in dried mud, and he grinned. Are you gonna say anything? Or stop there? Jace scowled at him. Dylan kicked him in response. “Owww… god damn it Dylan!” he shook his injured leg and resisted the urge to wipe the smirk off his face. He settled instead for muttering some curses about him under his breath… earning him another kick. This time he didn’t respond only sighed. One day Dylan was going to push him too far.

"Erm... it's all right, I... I like the rain anyway." Izzy was unsure what to make of what he was saying, was he kidding? Shrugging away her discomfort she lifted her head and was wondering how to reply when “Owww… god damn it Dylan!” broke the silence. She looked around and saw nobody, puzzled she remembered earlier, when he had hissed another sentence to nobody. Biting her lip she wondered how she could ask him without sounding rude. Or what if she said Who are you talking to? and it turned out he was crazy, hearing voices in his head. But she couldn't not ask... the need to know things started to assert itself and she wondered how she'd lasted this long without even a name. She looked up at him and didn't believe that he was a nutter, apart from the fact that he hadn't ran a mile from her, so she asked, "who are you talking to? ...and before ...you said things, i don't want to be rude but you don't seem the crazy type and... well i just wondered." She stopped but then realised they still didn't know each others names and although Izzy generally avoided people she thought what the hell, he mustn't be so bad, i mean, otherwise he surely would have left by now, wouldn't he? So as she walked over to a chair she added "I'm Izzy by the way." Reaching the chair she smirked at how ridiculous this whole meeting had been, it wasn't like she had wanted company or anything, in fact she had avoided her dorm for that exact reason but oh well fate had clearly wanted a laugh. Knowing she wasn't really giving him a chance to reply she finally added, "I can fix that if you like," nodding towards his wet state and then she smiled and decided she would wait for him to reply, no more talking until he did. So sitting down onto the chair she pulled her legs up and left her gaze resting on the boy, waiting.

"who are you talking to? ...and before ...you said things, i don't want to be rude but you don't seem the crazy type and... well I just wondered." Jace blinked, she was speaking rapidly again and he didn't catch most of the speech. But he could tell the gist. She wanted to know just how crazy he was, he bit his lip and didn't say anything. His eyes tracked her to the chair.
"I'm Izzy by the way." Jace closed his eyes and banged the back of his head against the wall behind him. Slowly he slid down the brick until he was sitting on the carpet. Well? Tell her your name Jace stared at Dylan, anger sparking in his eyes. Then he sighed and shook his head, clearing his thoughts and taking the anger away. He stretched his right leg out and hugged his left to him, his backpack slumped beside him. He debated in his head. Was it worth starting a conversation he knew was going to end probably sooner than later? Not really, but what if it did continue? Jace closed his eyes tightly again and whimpered in his head. God socialising was hard, no wonder he hated it. Oh for god’s sake just tell her you can worry about the consequences later. I swear to god you’d plan out the day you died if it was possible Jace tuned out for the rest of Dylan’s rant and opened his mouth to speak to be cut off by "I can fix that if you like." Jace blinked and looked down at himself, he was still soaking, not that it was a surprise but he had kind of put it out of his mind. He shook his head, “no that’s okay I don’t even realise it’s there” he shifted his weight slightly and made up his mind. “I’m Jace” he replied, now there was no way Dylan could say anything to him, he had said it, he’d continued the conversation, now it was out of his hands. Well except for that other question… Are you gonna leave it like that? Jace sighed. The ghost was being particularly pushy today and he wondered why, if Dylan was a girl he would have suspected that it was ‘that time of the month’ but he wasn’t so that was obviously not the reason. “Did you ever have an annoying voice in your head that tells you what to do? I mean really annoying, won’t leave you alone. NEVER leaves you alone” he shot that last bit at Dylan who just raised his eyebrows at him. “Well unfortunately I have about a billion of them a day, well they’re not voices exactly they’re… um… ghosts” he faltered at the end. He had somehow been driven on as he started and he had only just realised exactly how much he had revealed about himself. He rubbed his temples; he could feel another headache coming along. Ask her what she can do Dylan encouraged. Jace went along with him; it was so much easier than fighting him. “Although some of it is obvious… what is it that you can do?”

Izzy watched as the boy slid down the wall, sitting himself onto the carpeted floor. She kept watching him as he shook his head and said "no that’s okay I don’t even realise it’s there." Izzy felt the embarrassment at her actions before flood her but she tried her best to ignore it and kept on listening to the boy, "I’m Jace." Izzy smiled as he told her his name, feeling more at ease having at least some information about this boy, and she felt her mind start to wander ...listening to her iPod, the words to Love Like Rockets, by Angels and Airwaves whispered through her thoughts. But then he was speaking again and she snapped her attention back to him. "Did you ever have an annoying voice in your head that tells you what to do? I mean really annoying, won’t leave you alone. NEVER leaves you alone, well unfortunately I have about a billion of them a day, well they’re not voices exactly they’re… um… ghosts." There was an air about the way he had answered that Izzy couldn't place, but there was definitely something and she silently cursed herself and her lack of attention, she had almost missed his answer. Wondering what it must be like to have such a talent again her thoughts started to lose attention, she stopped them and forced herself to listen again as Jace added, "although some of it is obvious… what is it that you can do?" Izzy felt a grin spread across her face as she thought about what it was she could do, it was pretty basic of course but the rush she got more than made up for that, realising she hadn't answered she flicked her fringe out of her eyes and replied. "Well it's pretty basic, i'm a water elemental so i can control water in any state. I can control the movement of it, as i have already demonstrated," she smirked at him and then bit her lip thinking about what else she could do. "I can contaminate or purify water and when i haven't been overusing i can sometimes cause rain, i'm pretty useless as far as that's concerned though..." she broke off and sucked in a breath. Izzy thought about what she'd said and hoped he wouldn't pick up any meaning behind her last sentence. she didn't like to go around telling people about her lack of control, about her addiction to the rush of using, especially people she hardly even knew. "So that's it really, nothing too special," she grinned as she said this and then wondered about asking him for more detail into his power, but couldn't think of what to say. So fiddling with a purple bracelet that looped her wrist she sat and silently willed him to tell her, wishing she had mind control as a power.

I can control the movement of it, as I have already demonstrated, I can contaminate or purify water and when I haven't been overusing I can sometimes cause rain, I’m pretty useless as far as that's concerned though... " Jace tried to keep up with what she was saying. Loves to talk fast doesn't she? Dylan commented, smirking. Jace nodded absent-mindedly at him. At least the water thing explained what happened with the lighter - it was fire, it was still a little weird but Jace felt better now he knew some of the reason behind it. "So that's it really, nothing too special." Jace raised his eyebrows "nothing too special?" he echoed "you can control water... and that's not special?" he asked incredulously. He shook his head, his hair sending raindrops flying, "God I would kill to have a power as good as that... All I get is psychopaths trying to scream at me all day." He rolled his eyes. He wasn't sure what it was that was increasing his confidence but whatever it was he wasn't sure if he liked it or not. On the one hand there was the fact that he was actually continuing a conversation - a rare thing for him but on the other... he was continuing a conversation. He forced his uneasiness down and barrelled on "see I have absolutely no control over my power" he paused to glance at Dylan, who was staring him with a mixture of interest, pride and confusion on his face. "Ghosts come and go; some I can help some I can't, I can't make a ghost go away or make them come to me in fact I can't make them do anything. They do as they damn well please…” he trailed off, that was much to his chagrin. “Although I suppose some of my abilities come in handy. I can find things” he stated, not sure on how to continue “there’s some restrictions. Oh and I can also sometimes see the future” he added, he had almost forgotten about that – he hadn’t had a vision for a while if he was honest. He leaned back against the wall again, the cold of the concrete biting into his back. He mulled over what he had said, it was strange once he had started he found it hard to stop – that had never happened to him before. He shook his head and waited to hear what Izzy would have to say about it. He suddenly remembered his IPod was playing, the headphones had fell out and were swinging near his shoes, he pulled them back and put one in his ear. He checked the song ‘Anxiety (Get Nervous)’ by Pat Benatar he pulled a face and skipped it, ’36 degrees’ by Placebo, much better.

Izzy continued to fiddle with her bracelet and absently realised her tattoo had vanished, then Jace was speaking. he echoed her words then added "you can control water... and that's not special? God I would kill to have a power as good as that... All I get is psychopaths trying to scream at me all day." Izzy couldn't help the grin that spread across her face, she'd never really thought about it but she guessed compared to some things her power wasn't as unuseful as she'd always thought it to be, although she thought that the ghost thing would be kind of cool. "See I have absolutely no control over my power. Ghosts come and go; some I can help some I can't, I can't make a ghost go away or make them come to me in fact I can't make them do anything. They do as they damn well please… Although I suppose some of my abilities come in handy. I can find things there’s some restrictions. Oh and I can also sometimes see the future.” Izzy had stopped fiddling with her bracelet, totally absorbed by Jace's words. Noticing that her mouth had fallen open a little she blushed and quickly closed it biting down onto her lip, she couldn't believe that he didn't think of his power as amazing, in her eyes it was much better than hers. She smiled as she realised he had done exactly what she had wanted him to do, told her more about what he could do. "So, you honestly don't think your power is amazing?" she questioned, her voice barely above a whisper. She thought back to how he had said he had no control over his power and was just deciding she would definitely not tell him about her 'control' problem when she started talking again. "well see although I can control my power mostly, I can't control how it makes me feel," she paused very briefly stunned by her admission, then she was off again, "I get a rush off of using, it's weird it affects me differently sometimes. I generally always get hazy thoughts and i find it hard to stop, too often i've over done it and passed out, although this has to be the first time someone has witnessed it." She laughed nervously as her brain screamed at her to stop, she was talking too much, revealing too much, but still she continued. "...and it's like i'm addicted to it, i have to use, i have to feel the rush, the need takes over if i wait too long." Izzy forced her mouth to stop moving. Clamping her teeth together she held back anymore words that were waiting to spill out. Then running her tongue bar along the backs of her teeth, and zoning into her music... A pebble in the water makes a ripple effect, every action in this world will bear a consequence, if you wade around forever you will surely drown, i see what's going down. ...she thought about how this boy, who she hardly even knew, now knew more about her than most people.

Jace couldn’t help grinning at Izzy as she smiled and his grin only widened as she blushed – now he didn’t feel as much of an idiot. It was obvious Izzy wasn’t much of a people person – just like him really. "So, you honestly don't think your power is amazing?" Jace pulled a face, "it's annoying really" I'm annoying now am I? Dylan quizzed "you're especially annoying" Jace replied automatically, but quietly. "well see although I can control my power mostly, I can't control how it makes me feel, I get a rush off of using, it's weird it affects me differently sometimes. I generally always get hazy thoughts and I find it hard to stop, too often I’ve over done it and passed out, although this has to be the first time someone has witnessed it... and it's like I’m addicted to it, I have to use, I have to feel the rush, and the need takes over if I wait too long." Jace had to think to get what Izzy was talking about. “Addicted…” he parroted, it was one of the only words he could make out in the somewhat garbled rush. “Sorry… but you’ve got to talk slower,” he told her “I can barely understand you” he added rolling his eyes. “I… I… think I’ve got the gist of that though” he continued as a last minute thought, with a smile. Yeah, she’s weird Dylan piped up and Jace closed his eyes, glad that Izzy couldn’t hear him. “Shut up” he muttered to Dylan. Why should I? it’s true isn’t it? She talks far to fast, she has one weird power and more to the point she can’t even control it – also she has some funny tendencies “Yeah well you’re a bloody ghost” Jace snapped back, which was unusual for him as he hardly ever swore. gracias por la ayuda, yo no debe haber gritado en usted. Lo siento Jace jumped in his sitting position, surprised as the ghost appeared again behind him. He turned to Dylan “what did she say?” he asked Oh yeah, now you need my help Jace sighed but Dylan carried on regardless. She says thank you for the help, she shouldn’t have shouted and she’s sorry ‘sorry’ was one of the only words Jace understood in Spanish. He nodded, “No problem” he told the ghost. He hadn’t done anything but he wasn’t about to argue that. The ghost nodded, Thank you, my husband has spoken to me and we have… decided? To go home Jace frowned. She spoke English? Well what was the point? God ghosts just loved being difficult especially when they were near him. He raised his eyebrows as the ghost disappeared and turned back to Izzy. “Sorry about that” he said with a grin “but ghosts… what can you do?” Jace tuned into his music for a moment Its killing me. Gently, silently, I’m dying inside. Gently, silently, I’m dying inside. I’m down and out. I’m drowning now. I’m falling down. I’m upside down...This time now I’m falling down. not the happiest of songs but it was still good.
