Eris wasn’t really frustrated, no- he was just slightly bothered. Bothered that he had somehow not noticed when Gaia wasn’t chattering away in his head like all the other souls. No, she had somehow run away. How did she even get away in the first place? Clearly confused Eris sat down by the lake and set Poseidon down on the lake surface watching him as he walked to the middle of the lake and started to do various little tricks. He was mostly confused because the souls weren’t supposed to be able to get away from him, how had that happened? Well, maybe there was some distance rule and that distance hadn’t been broken yet…
Where is she? Leto: She’s with that stupid girl! Athena: The cute one! Erebus: Telling all your secrets. Leto: Thanks to us.
Eris paused and looked back at the trail he had just gotten off of. He knew he could have just called her soul back the moment he had realized she was gone, but what about the doll she went into? When it came to the people in his head, it was a little easier to express emotion to them because it was almost like they were a part of him. Sighing heavily he looked back at Poseidon, but it was a moment too late- without even realizing it Eris had turned his head to a gigantic tidal wave. With eyes wide and being glued to the spot, the water crashed over him and then seemed to be sucked back into the lake. Having been pushed onto his back, Eris rolled over to his side and hit his chest while coughing loudly “What-“ he coughed violently a few times before attempting to speak again “the heck is wrong with everyone today?” he didn’t know why but for some reason the souls were acting different the usual and it was beginning to concern him.

Brianna walked down to the lake after looking all over the school for Eris. This was the only place he could be, unless he had left the campus entirely in which case this search would have been a waste of precious time. She didn't really have anything to do, but she could have invented something for herself that that would have been much more interesting than wandering around. The reason she had to find him was because she still had Gaia. If he really missed her that much he should have come back and gotten Gaia himself. But no, Gaia had been with her for hours. As a result, Bri felt as if she knew just as much about Eris as he knew about himself. Gaia had been talking about Eris for what seemed like hours. She couldn't shut up about him.
Some of it was interesting, some of it wasn't. A lot of what Gaia told her made everything else make sense. She felt she understood why he was the way he was. There was one thing she still didn't get though. "Why are you telling me all of this?" she asked Gaia, not understanding whatever purpose this information might serve. Nearing the lake, she suddenly saw a very large wave come crashing down upon Eris. Holding her hand up to her mouth, she tried to prevent herself from laughing at him. Not bothering to answer his question that was most likely rhetorical, she got right to the point. "I have Gaia," she said, looking down at him. Normally it would have been odd for her to call this tiny doll by name, but after spending time with her, Gaia was just like any other person except she was small, and... dead. "She's been following me around ever since the chess game."

As soon as Brianna came into his view, Eris quickly got up hit his chest a few times and finally straightened up. Despite the fact that he was standing infront of her, drenched to the bone- Eris still managed to have that cold demeanor that was always about him. A second passed, and Gaia revealed herself by jumping out of Brianna's pocket and onto Eris's arm. The second she landed though Gaia went limp and he put her body back into his bag. He called Poseidon back and also put his body back into his bag as the doll went lip.
Sighing loudly, he finally turned to Brianna. "I don't know why, she's the most... docile and obediant of all of them," Eris said and then rubbed his eyes, clearing seeming frustrated but finding it hard how to display his anger.

Brianna still didn't know why exactly Gaia followed her either, and she seemed equally frustrated about it. She hated not knowing things, not understanding things... Which reminded her, she was supposed to be more angry with Eris than she actually was right now. He won the chess game, and now that he had she really didn't agree with the idea that chess was supposed to prove he was smarter than he was. It was absurd to think that one game could decide something so important, though Eris probably didn't care one way or another so it was pointless to bring it up again. "She wouldn't shut up. All she did was talk about you for hours," she replied.

Eris stared at Brianna for a moment his mind trying to process what was happening suddenly there was a sudden pain in his head, like someone slamming a hammer into his skull. He winced and rubbed his forehead, "I hope you don't remember anything then," he said to her; the remark seeming a little threatening but not meaning to. For some reason the dolls weren't talking rapidly like they always do, although he was thankful for the quiet Eris was also a little concerned too.
