Nina did not quite understand the awkwardness that was going on between these two, but it was making her very uncomfortable. AS they traded garments and tried very weirdly to go back to the school and decide whether or not to go back together, Nina decided it would probably be best to allow them to work out their awkwardness on themselves, plus it was really hard to help a person walk while also writing a conversation on a sheet of paper.
Nina instead decided to return to her original destination, the beach. Upon doing so she realized that she wasn't quite in the mood to read anymore and instead put her book down on a flat rock so that it wouldn't get sand on it and then proceeded to start making sand angels passively in the drier parts of the sand. She was sad that her interaction with the people on the beach had been so fraught with peril but she was glad that was passed and that she could now relax in peace.

Alex had seen the other girl walk away, she didn't introduce herself and as a result he didn't pay her too much attention as she walked away. The singular thing that he had thought as she walked away was that she was entitled to leave whenever she wanted, and as a result he shouldn't bother her.
"I'm a little heavy Elleko, so be careful."
Alex then put his arm around Elleko's shoulders and leaned a little. His head felt like it was being split open with a can opener, as a result he was grateful for the support that Elleko provided. If he was honest with himself, he couldn't have gotten home in the state he was in at the moment.
"Thanks Elleko.... you're awesome"

Elleko nodded, moving slowly to be sure he was alright. She stumbled a bit under his weight but kept going; she'd done worse. Compared to dragging herself across the beach bleeding from a gunshot wound this was easy. But she didn't like to think about that day so she shut those thoughts out of her mind quickly. She blushed yet again at his compliment, sure it had to be his obvious illness talking; she wasn't doing anything anybody else would do, right? Okay, so maybe not every ody would have hung around after he'd told them he was fine but that was just due to her awkwardness. "Th-thanks..." She trailed off as she realized she'd never actually asked his name and he'd never offered it. "S-sorry, what's your n-name, b-by the w-way?"

Alex burst out laughing out of embarrassment. He had told Elleko a lot of things about himself that would be considered private including his ability, yet in his infinite wisdom (not) he completely forgot to introduce himself. Was he that easy to get information from that he would rather tell people his special abilities but not his name. What was wrong with him, even a infant had more sense than him. Alex eyed Elleko for a second and then spoke:
"Alex"
Of course Alex knew that it was an honest mistake, not introducing himself, because he had been in a quick series of odd or life threatening events, but his character didn't excuse it and he would probably beat himself over about it later. He was glad, though, that he was being helped by the unexpected person that had appeared from the ocean, if she hadn't shown up Alex wouldn't have known.
"My apologies, I demanded an explanation of your actions, your name, and in some cases other services, yet I didn't even have the manners to tell you my name."

"I-it's okay, r-really," Elleko told him with a little awkward sort of laugh. To be honest with all the odd things going on, and happening so quickly, she hadn't even thought about it until now. Of course, names still seemed odd to her even after seven years of living with humans. She was perfectly capable of and happy to identify people by their scent alone and needed no name to attach to it, but she knew she was in the minority there. They were convenient to those without her sense of smell, and even with it they were nice to have. A solid sound to put to a person, along with their scent. But either way it meant that sometimes a person's name wasn't the first thing she thought about when meeting them.
"Honestly I p-probably w-wouldn't have even th-thought to t-tell you mine if y-you hadn't a-asked," she told him. "I d-don't really think a-about that k-kind of th-thing always...b-but it's nice to m-meet you, A-Alex."
