Starting early in the morning and lasting all day, Port Albion's Spring Festival is a grand celebration. The villagers welcome students and teachers of Foresta to join in the merriment. Various street vendors are scattered about the village and hundreds of trades, selling and buying is happening as merchants and sailors from the mainland come to take part in the festival. Some vendors offer free samples of their food, drink and so on while others expect you to pay. This varies from person to person.
OOC RULES 6 members are allowed in this thread with as many characters as they wish to use. If you are already in the Spring Formal thread, do not join this one and this will apply vice versa. When it is your time to post and you do not post in four days you will be skipped and kicked from this thread to make room for other people. The festival is an all day celebration, so I will pop in and let everyone know when it is the afternoon, late afternoon, evening, etc. Enjoy!

Knell could not believe his luck, the one time he decided to come to this waste of building materials and there was a festival going on in the village. 'It's only natural, I suppose. They had probably heard I was on my way and have thrown these festivities in my honor,' he thought to himself with pride.
The god gave a quick glance at a nearby stall, and his eyes settled on the shiniest apple he had ever seen. He decided he wanted that apple, only a god was deserving of something so amazingly shiny. "I will take that fruit, mortal," he demanded, but he quickly became confused when the worthless creature running the stand asked for payment. "Simple fool, I am a god, why would I need to pay for something that is most likely an offering to me anyway?" as he asked this, Knell reached out to take the apple, but the stand owner quickly slapped his hand in response.
A great frown graced Knell's mouth, and he crossed his arms. "How am I supposed to buy that glorious fruit when I have none of your pathetic currency?" The question was met with the stand-owner giving him the most disgraceful look the god had ever received, and he did not have to read this man's emotions to tell that he was disgusted. "Fine then, I shall find a different stand and a better, more grand fruit to grace with my presence!" With that exclamation he stalked away, in search of a more apples.

When Nina had arrived in Port Albion, she had briefly taken notice of the villagers and townsfolk setting up for w hat appeared to be some sort of festival. Still not really knowing anyone at the school, she decided to take some time to see the festival and to maybe get some items for her dorm. Also, her stomach was growling as usual and she needed to resupply on food because she did not know where students ate at Foresta.
Of course he had to be here. As Nina entered the main square, she could clearly see the rude and demeaning god-armed student Knell. Of every student at Foresta, he had to be the one to make his eta down for a festival of all things. Nina was relieved that Knell was too distracted by demanding fruit-based tributes from townspeople to notice the small gorl. Nina hoped it would remain that way and started to shop, looking at the vendors and carefully keeping Knell in her sight but in front of her.
Nina came to a somewhat displeased fruit vendor who appeared to have been an attempted supplicant of the so-called god. With a small smile, Nina pointed at the shiny fruit, then produced several small coins from a pouch in her satchel. The vendor smiled and handed her the shining apple. Nina took a seat near the stamd and enjoyed her fresh snack before continuing to explore the festival.

It soon became apparent to Knell that his search for better apples would end in failure. While many vendors had offered apples for free, some just out of fear of the gaseous menace, none of them could compare to the beauty of that shiny apple he had been so unfairly denied. With a great stride, he returned to the stall that contained his fruit-based goal. He did not have the patience to do his normal routine when it came to peeling apart the mind of a lesser being, but he knew something that could work just as well on certain beings
Needless to to say, the stall-owner was not pleased to see the Limbo God again, and he responded to Knell's presence by telling him to get lost. Knell stared straight into the mans eyes, his eyes showing no expression what-so-ever, and he made a noise that sounded similar to someone clearing their throat.
"Alright worm-vendor, I did not want to have to use force, but your rudeness has forced my hand!" he declared loudly. "So....GIVE ME THE APPLE GIVE ME THE APPLE GIVE ME THE APPLE GIVE ME THE APPLE GIVE ME THE APPLE GIVE ME THE APPLE GIVE ME THE APPLE GIVE ME THE APPLE GIVE ME THE APPLE GIVE ME THE APPLE GIVE ME THE APPLE GIVE ME THE APPLE-," this went on for several minutes, and by the time Knell had stopped the shop vendor was banging his head again the top of his stand and begging to whatever heathen gods he was affiliated with to save him, causing wicked laughter to echo from Knell.
"I will cease this if you just give me my apple," the god offered, only for the vendor to reveal that someone had already bought it. And by someone, the vendor obviously meant some undeserving wretch that was not worthy of the grand fruit. "Who? WHO HAS DARED TO TAKE THE APPLE OF KNELL?!"

The apple was fresh, juicy and crunched magnificently in Nina’s mouth and she greedily took small bites out of it and enjoyed the fantastic flavor. Money well spent, she thought to herself. Suddenly a commotion could be heard nearby around the corner. I string of annoyed repeated words seems to be coming from someone. It seemed that Knell had come around for another attempt at the freed shiny apple.
The apple Nina currently enjoyed.
Time to go, she thought to herself as the commotion turned into Knell’s screaming inquiry of who took his apple. Nina’s apple, actually. She smiled to herself over the small victory over the annoying ‘Limbo God’ and stood, throwing her apple core away in a trash can. Nina stealthily slipped through the people staring at Knell’s childish yells and found herself in a row of vendors selling clothing and other home goods. Some people has suggested that she try and get some different garments to wear. Maybe this was a good place to find some...

Ahead of Nina was a large crowd of shoppers, looking at the various vendors. This was all normal of course, the festival had drawn many people, save for the one thing. The crowd had parted ever so slightly, and a grinning Knell could be seen within, staring directly at Nina. Not a moment later the gap in the crowd was filled, hiding the self-proclaimed god from view.
Knell took this opportunity to phase back into the ground beneath him. Tracking the fool had not been hard, the lowly stand owner had provided him with a description of the fruit-stealing culprit, and even pointed him in the direction with which she had wandered off. When he had caught sight of the mute worm, it had been busy receiving shopping related suggestions, giving him enough time to intercept the lowly things course using his ability to become intangible. All that was left was to make the thing realize just the extent of its folly, one way or another.

Great. That apple had been incredibly tasty but Nina had not expected the Limbo God to try and find her. She had bought the apple when he simply had demanded it! It was hers! Not to mention it longer longer existed after she had eaten it. And now the rude classmate was actually try to follow her? She had seen him briefly through the crowd, smiling before he vanished.
He was not as good at hiding as he thought. The so-called god had obviously vanished into the ground, there was nowhere else to go in that crowd. Now he was actually trying to follow her? He surely thought that no one would know his location. A Knell coming out of walls and banisters and the ground was clearly invisible. As Nina walked through the festival, she could easily track his location from the continuous yells or surprised screeches of townsfolk as Knell phased through solid objects in a vain attempt to stealthily follow Nina.
Tired of being followed, she turned a corner and waited. After a few moments, one of the people near the corner cried out as Knell warped into the wall. Nina then activated a spark and pressed her hand up against the wall violently, hoping to give Knell a lessen to not stalk her.

It was always amusing when the mouse thought itself to be the hunter, Knell thought happily to himself. He had been afraid that the pathetic thing would make this boring, but it appeared to be attempting to track his movement, or more specifically the locations at which he popped up for a meal. The meal of course was the pure terror these worthless mortals experienced when they were suddenly in the presence of a true god, and it allowed him to continue to use his intangibility. He had frightened several people this way, stopping here and there to scare someone else, and he would have kept at it had he not caught sight of his quarry looking straight at the wall he was currently inside.
Knell had seen the feeble attack coming, dark-sight made the tiny worm's movements all too obvious, and quickly moved from within the wall to the inside of the building it was attached to, startling more than a few people. He cared not for that, though, and made his way to the nearest door. Opening it up, he poked his head out only to see Nina just a few feet away. "Good try, I think you got him!"

This buffoon wasn't as stupid as she thought. He had been making himself visible intentionally. He could have completely phased and she would have never had known. Nina did not know all of the powers of this being but knew to not underestimate him from now on. She had come here to shop and enjoy the festival, not play a game of day and mouse with a self proclaimed god who made everyone mad. She obviously was in no mood or condition for a confrontation with a much more experienced student and decided to attempt diplomacy with some trepidation.
She didn't really think this would work but unless she wanted to be running this whole time she had to resolve this. Nina reached into her bag, not taking her eyes off of Knell who only stared. She produced a piece of paper and quickly wrote: "Can't we just shop? This is where people are supposed to be happy," before holding the note out to Knell. She then produced a candy in something of a piece offering and held it out to him as well.

Knell stared blankly at the candy that was being offered to him, the mist of his face covering up his mouth to hide his annoyance-fueled frown. Normally he would have taken pride in a worthless mortal making an offering to him, but this one seemed to think the pointless treat would make up for her theft of the shiniest of apples. "Do you think I would forgive you of your transgression just because you offered me a worthless snack?"
He looked directly at Nina and crossed his arms, the fog becoming more narrow around his eyes. "You have stolen from me, and after that you attacked me, and then you dare to say that I shouldn't be displeased by that? Well.... I suppose you did not really say that, you are much too stupid to know how to use your own vocal cords," he mumbled the last part to himself, letting out a small chuckle afterwards. It seemed to put him in a slightly better mood "Anyways, you wish to return to your petty browsing as soon as possible, yes? Than I suggest you return my apple to me with haste, young-worm."

Nina was annoyed. No matter what she did, this guy would not be nice to get and he would not leave her alone! What would it take to get Knell off of her case? She couldn't give him the apple back! She had eaten it! Nina contemplated hard as the self-proclaimed Limbo God only stared. I probably thought that she wasn't even thinking since she didn't talk. What a buffoon. There was something nice about him though, more like he was trying to fill a trope or some emotional hole in himself that he wouldn't reveal to others. Maybe, with some effort, Nina could figure that out and get him to be nicer to her. Nina thought that ahe might be able to appease him with a meal, that always made her feel better. She grabbed some more paper out of her bag and scribbled more conversation. "I can't give you your apple back. I are it. I can buy you another one or something else to eat it you want,"

"You have consumed the apple?" Knell wondered aloud. While he was aware that mortals needed to consume things like fruit to sustain their pathetic bodies he had assumed that even a lesser being could see the majesticness of that shiny apple, but apparently even the extent of the fruit's beauty was beyond their comprehension. "A pity, but I suppose I can not hold it against you. Your mind is so frail, underdeveloped even in comparison to other members of your sad species; your eating of the apple was simply due to you not realizing that the worth of it was greater than your own," he reasoned, his voice sounding of disappointment.
Ignoring the mute's written question, Knell thought of a way to make it so tracking the worm was not a complete waste of time, which naturally was trying to get some insight on the little thing's life and hopefully make tormenting it much more simple and rewarding. "You know, speechless worm, I am surprised you travel around outside the school unsupervised. Your powers are mediocre at best, and if you should happen to encounter someone with intent to harm you would be unable to call for help. Did your parents not warn you of the dangers of being alone among strangers?" he asked with fake concern; the god of Limbo could not care less about the safety of this lowly worm, he was just hoping the fool would reveal that it had some tragic backstory involving the death or absence of its parents, that seemed to be a common theme among the younger inhabitants of this wretched island.
