Oliver is a half-breed, born from the coupling of a succubus and Eros (Cupid) making him sort of a demigod but still a being entirely empowered by the essence of love, both its dark and lighter aspects. His supernatural existence gives him some interesting capabilities, fueled by his divine and infernal halves.
Inhuman Physiology
As he isn’t in any way human, it goes to follow that Ollie is not possessed of normal human physical characteristics. He takes their shape but his physical qualities and attributes are all at or slightly above peak human capability (naturally speaking). His strength, speed, durability, stamina, reflexes, and senses are all notably about 3 times that a human of his build’s should be. His stamina and durability in particular are greater than normal. He can operate at peak output physically speaking for literally days on end. He can go about a week without the need for sleep. His toughness is such that low caliber gunfire causes bruises. He is also functionally immortal, with slowed aging and immunity to earthly diseases (though he is only resistant to earthly toxins, needing 2-3 times the dosage as his body would suggest)
More importantly (according to his family at least) though is his supernatural attractiveness. Everything about Ollie , when he wants it to be and sometimes when he doesn’t, is attractive. He is literally a delight to every sense. He looks good. He smells intoxicatingly good. His touch is always warm and could send shivers through a corpse. Even his voice makes the skin prickle. And this (in his opinion) unfortunate quality functions on everybody regardless of gender, orientation, or species. When he turns on the charm it’s positively enchanting. (And yes, he even tastes good).
His kiss, if he were to ever actually do so, warps the mind and senses of mortal (and most immortal) beings and only takes second place to a True Love’s Kiss.
Further, Oliver possesses a ‘true form’ one in which he has the hallmarks of both an angelic divine being and a demon. He has both feathery wings and a halo as well as twin horns and a lengthy prehensile tail. The wings allow him to fly (normal max speed: 150 mph), the horns are sharp and reasonably dangerous and the tail can function as a third arm or tentacle having the equal strength to either of his arms and is able to stretch to about 6 feet in length. His halo has another intricate and important purpose and is detailed below. he often keeps both aspects of his heritage tucked away and can summon forth any of them individually or together as he sees fit.
*Note: Thanks to his personality, Ollie usually tries to keep his charms turned right the fuck off since he doesn’t enjoy the attention. Even so, he’s still normally good looking and all that, but if he puts his supernatural oomph into, boy is it hard to look away.
Amokinesis
Oliver, as his heritage would suggest, is capable of manipulating love in other people able to induce it, redirect it, manipulate it, see it, and alter it pretty much however he sees fit. His dual nature as the son of the god of Love and a demon seductress has given him interesting insight and understanding of every aspect, both positive and negative of love.
He can temporarily induce love, desire, and pleasure in pretty much any of their forms save “The Purest, Truest Form of Love”. What he directs this attraction to is only limited by what he can think of and the degree he wishes to make them feel is up to him: friendly, aroused, infatuated, obsessed. What he cannot directly control is what someone does with those feelings and urges. He can increase the urge to an overwhelming level and cause someone to act on them, but he can’t dictate how they do so. So for example, he can make someone sexually attracted to an orange and then set an orange in front of them, but he can’t use his power to force them to get down to business in front of everyone with the orange. Thus the ability to manipulate desire (what people want) is the closest to actual mind control, but this power changes emotion, not logic.
Most people tend to become pretty amicable to his suggestions especially as their inhibitions break down in turn. The more he pours it on, the less control an individual has over themselves.
At the very most, he can make his influence last for around 24 hours. It's believed that he could increase this duration by opening up his own heart and compassion for others but well... yeah.
Alongside this ability and in order for it to work correctly, Oliver can see a person’s aura and their chakras and from that see the things they are attracted to, in love with, or romantically tied to as well as detect their particular fetishes and other proclivities. Thus he can detect intimate details if he wants to and tweak or change those, adding or subtracting from them. He does not gain a comprehensive understanding of their former partners or loves, but he can sift through the aura looking for those buried infatuations, it simply takes some time to dig through expired loves. He cannot technically read minds, but he can read and sense fantasies, desires, lusts and things someone has a passion for, especially while they’re thinking about them. To this visual ability a normal person has 8 chakras running up the center of their body and one located over their heart. By peering into each ‘chakra’ he can find details about that chakra’s particular type of love (the 8 types of love are mentioned below). He is capable of seeing the 'red strands of love' that connect those who are soulmates, however these threads do not manifest until someone crosses paths with their greatest love.
It is also of note that he cannot make someone dislike or stop loving something or someone, he can reduce that love to a minimal level but cannot fully remove or excise it. As his power is temporary their degrees of love will return to normal once his influence lapses. If the person really and truly takes a liking to something he sparks within them, that spark could catch fire and grow within them if that person works at or continues to develop that new love.
The Power of Love
Love and lust both produce emotional energy that Oliver is able to conjure, channel and use in several ways. He channels this energy from those around him and produces it himself and can call on that emotion to produce copious amount of divine energy. This energy is referred to as the 7-fold Flame, each color of the flame being tied to a different aspect of love.
When he uses this energy, the flame is a vibrant pink psychic fire whose heart is the color of the sort of love he is channeling or drawing on, the intensity and strength of the source of that love determines the potency of the effect and energy so picking the right source of unwavering love is usually in his best interest. Using his own Love energy is easiest but well, Ollie has some trouble with that (see his weaknesses and personality for more explanation).
Each type of love is tied to a color, and the hue of that color is dictated by the intensity and positive or negative aspect of that type of love. Positive love is brighter and more vibrant, negative or perverted love is darker hued and duller in color

White - Self Love This is the love from which all other loves are birthed. As it is said, Before you can love others, you must love yourself.
Oliver channels this emotional energy through his halo which is a manipulatable tool for him. It takes the shape of a hovering crown of pink flames with an inner depth hued by the type of love he is working with. When he wants to handle or manipulate this emotional energy, he tends to move and use the halo as a conduit for the energy.
For practical purpose, he can use this energy in several ways but only in one way at a time. In essence, his power is to manipulate and channel the emotional energy and these are the techniques by which he uses that energy. Each is simply a manifestation of the emotional energy of love, which as it’s been expressed to him, shows itself in many different ways.
Smoky Illusions - by extinguishing the flames, Ollie can leave his halo as nothing but dense magenta smoke which he can form into believable illusions. Any of the 5 major senses can be affected but any illusory creation is easily destroyed as they can be popped as easily as an over inflated balloon bursting back into wispy smoke. Usually this technique is used by harnessing love energy from the person the illusion is being used on so that it can imitate something or someone that person loves as drawn from their aura. This manifested after he came to understand and feel the fleeting nature of love.
Innocuity - By drawing on the love energy from up to 5 individuals at once, Ollie can make himself unnoticeable by those beings becoming essentially invisible to them. He just sort of fades from their sight and memory for the time he is inducing this technique or until he breaks the innocuousness by doing something so overtly obvious they can’t ignore it. This technique comes from the unrequited sort of love where the one you love doesn’t even seem to know you’re alive. Harming someone physically beyond say a pinch always counts as breaking the technique, though pushing someone doesn’t many times. This doesn’t work on those without the capacity to love or the likes of cameras. Having experienced a somewhat juvenile crush, but not having the feelings noticed or returned created this technique.
Terrible Beauty - By pushing love energy into his supernaturally good looks, Oliver can invoke this technique and make himself painful to look upon. He becomes so beautiful the mortal mind cannot comprehend it and overloads, causing pain that increases in intensity over mere seconds that eventually results in temporary blindness should the foolish mortal not look away.
Heartbreaker - by reaching through the halo and into someone’s chest, Ollie can make someone feel real and true heartache, as if their heart were ripped out and they had lost every love in their life at once. It is a cripplingly depressing pain that leaves its victims cold inside. Basically the move stops the flow of love energy through a being’s system turning the fires of love into icy blocks within them. The torturous pain only lasts for about 15 minutes or so, but given its nature can feel like an eternity. When Ollie had his heart broken by the depressing state of how love works in the world, he gained understanding of how to perform this technique. In truth, he has yet to get over this heartbreak and it is somewhat poisoning his being very slowly.
On the Winds of Love - This ability is currently locked away from him by dictate of his parents. His halo can act as a portal between realms and locations allowing him to step from one place or dimension to another. It is this ability that allows him to walk into Hell, step back to Olympus or go basically anywhere on Earth on a whim. If he tries to violate the punishment and open a portal, the tattoo over his nipple becomes searingly hot.
Physical Empowerment - By channeling the love energy into his body, Ollie can enhance one of his physical attributes (strength, speed, stamina, durability, agility, or senses) to superhuman levels at a time. The degree of this empowerment is dependent upon the type of love he is drawing from. Blue or yellow love double his efficacy, indigo and orange triple it, and violet or red love quintuple it. Green raises the attribute about 1.5x normal and white love fluctuates based on the user’s own acceptance and love for themself. Milestone: Performing an act of truly selfless love.
Reflections of the Heart - by sampling some energy from someone’s aura and plucking an idea or memory from it, Ollie can veil himself in an illusion and take on the appearance of someone’s loved one or fantasy. It is a complete illusion meaning he looks, sounds and smells like the person though it is up to him to perform as that person. Milestone:
Time Stands Still - This ability draws on the altered perception of time standing still during a kiss. By casting his halo around himself in an area no more than 50 feet in diameter, everything inside the ring seems to move exaggeratedly slow, as if moving through molasses to him while he continues to move at full speed. To those within he seems to become a hazy blur, difficult to track or focus on. If something is pushed outside the ring it returns to full speed. While inside the ring, Ollie cannot physically harm another person or being directly. Milestone: An all encompassing kiss that makes the world melt away.
Passionate Flame - The 7-fold flame is most often not allowed to produce actual heat, but can do so intensely when it is channeled in this method. Essentially Oliver can produce and manipulate the romantic energies as fire. He is artful in his manipulations able to shape and throw his flame in many imaginative ways. He does not gain control over any fire except that which the halo emits and he is immune to the effects of his own halo’s flames. This thermal manipulation is reversed if the user's heart runs cold, producing ice in place of heat. Milestone: Experiencing overwhelming passion for another person that probably results in carnal love making.
Sexual Healing - if he conjures his halo whilst performing a carnal act or favor on someone, he can heal their wounds by channeling the love energies into them. Good luck getting him in bed though. Even for those not actually injured, the act is revitalizing once his partner(s) catch their breaths. Milestone: Losing one's virginity.

Appearance:
Oliver stands at about 5’10” with lush dark brown hair. His hair has a natural wave and curl to it that when sufficiently long, it forms relatively large ringlets. His eyes keep up the dark appearance being brown in color, though their hue is somewhat morphic, seeming to alter based on what he is wearing and sometimes seeming to be lit by an inner golden light.
His skin has a slight olive tone to it and a perpetually healthy, rosy blush. In truth it is often about a step away from being considered ‘glowing’ in all honesty and there isn’t a single blemish marring the creamy complexion. Alongside his impressive complexion, he is possessed of a lean and muscular physique, incredibly athletic in nature. Aside from a natural inclination towards the male ideal of beauty, decades of martial training at the tutelage of war gods has left him with the conditioned body of a warrior and it shows.His posture is proud and impeccable, generally relaxed as if he has next to nothing to be overly concerned about as if he feels safe to stand so tall.
Perhaps the only thing that really mars his good looks is the slight scowl or frown he often wears, as if incessantly annoyed by something. In truth, it’s not an inaccurate assumption to make really. He can come off as standoffish simply based on his body language with the crossed arms or upraised chin, his sense of pride exuding in such a way that he can make it seem as if the people around him are beneath him.
His choice in clothing is also somewhat interesting, his brooding attitude usually causing him to lean towards darker hues, avoiding colors towards the red end of the spectrum. That said, white is a common choice of color for him as well, always pristine as if brand new (which they usually are). And that’s honestly if you can get him to keep his clothes on. Over a century of running around with the likes of greek deities and naked demons has left him feeling uncomfortable in clothes sometimes what with how tight and restrictive they can feel these days. He’s just as likely to walk around naked or draped in a long strip of silk, slung around him like a toga. He’s not at all bashful about his body and it shows and he quite frankly has absolutely no reason to be either. A lot of people would take one look and honestly state his wearing of clothes should be a crime.
There is a small tattoo of an Omega symbol around his left nipple. It is this tattoo that binds him to the planet Earth and prevents him from going back to Olympus or to Hell.
Personality:
The best word to describe Oliver’s personality is well… complicated. Given his upbringing, it’s not really that surprising that the nature of love has always been a driving factor of his life. Being passed back and forth between his parents, they endeavored to show him the nature of the world, especially when it came to love and lust. It (love) was never a difficult concept for him to grasp, especially given the fact that it seemed to be the major driving force of basically everything. Love is everywhere, in every song, every story, hiding under the surface of practically every aspect of life.
However it also didn’t take him long to discover that he was disillusioned by the emotion. Humans constantly spout off about loving this or that but they don’t take the word and its nature to heart at all. And it was this constant misunderstanding that they show that set him in his ways. People just don’t get it. They’ve been shown and taught and told so many of the subtle and not so subtle truths about love and they just squander and stumble through their lives pining for someone to give their hearts and souls to like they need someone else to survive. Like they all deserve true happiness in the arms of another. And it makes him sick.
Where he perhaps should foster feelings and urges to usher forth love and contentment, he instead feels something akin to extreme annoyance. He takes more personal pleasure in the pain and misfortune of others than he does in seeing them be happy. And it’s not really that he’s mean or malicious, he’s just kind of angsty. He doesn’t enjoy the existence he was born into having to suffer through watching people misuse the thing he holds sway over and fail time and time again to foster the relationships they build. He could swear that people just want to be miserable and he’s more than happy to watch them wallow in their ignorance.
In fact, underneath it all, his own self loathing is probably what drives his personality and unfortunately, that’s kind of bad for him. Ollie is a quasideity of love and loving anyone kind of requires that you can accept yourself first and since he dislikes having been made at all, his entire being is somewhat on its side. He refrains from loving or lusting after others for the most part wishing to keep to himself or his smaller circles instead of opening himself up to the pain of watching others get hurt or fail. He isn’t incapable of love, not in the least. In fact if he allowed it, his heart is as big as any and his drive to share love and pleasure is as insatiable as could be expected hearing from whose loins he comes.
He finds interacting with other people difficult because he’s never really sure if they like him for him or if his nature and powers are the cause. So in place of torturing himself by having what he sees as false relationships, he holds people at arm’s length closes himself off, resisting the urge to let them in. In this regard he can be self sabotaging, pushing others away or toying with their emotions for his own dark amusement. Of course he feels guilty soon afterwards but doesn’t often attempt to apologize for his behavior, he was raised by gods and demons afterall.
His moral compass by human standards is non existent. He can’t see the world as either good or bad. His very nature is a mixture and contradiction to these concepts existing in such a cut and dry contrast. He does what he wants when he wants with little regard to how others might react. If he does a ‘good thing’ it’s because he felt like it or has some other agenda attached to the outcome of that action. That said, he is aware of how to blend in and act inside of society perfectly fine and often concocts masks and personas to operate behind in order to get by.
As a godling, he is most used to standing in the background watching things play out, seeing the connections between people and watching them collide and spin through life. And when he feels like getting his hands dirty, he steps into the endless dance and sets the pace however he ses fit. So in essence, I suppose his greatest personality trait is manipulation.
He has extreme dislike for romantic comedies, Sigmund Freud ( who is the literal reason he was born), Disney movies (except Lilo and Stitch) or other media that romanticizes love and removes how cruel or inexhaustibly unfathomable it is. On the flip side though, he enjoys combat, schadenfreude, dancing, singing, witty repartee, and pranks.
Weaknesses:
Lacking in Love - Because he doesn’t love or accept himself and what he is fully (he does like bits and pieces of who he is) his powers are actually much diminished from what they could honestly be. Sometimes when he’s feeling particularly moody and self loathing, his abilities even falter and spike or valley in strength. This is what makes it difficult to control his powers sometimes despite his literal decades of operation with them. This weakness is further apparent in the profound lack of ability he has in actualizing or manifesting the more abstract forms of the power of love. Because of his lack of experience feeling honest love, Ollie cannot fully harness his abilities to their fullest potential. Simply put, because his own ability to love is stunted, so too is his full potential. If he begins to develop his own capacity to love himself and others, his abilities should grow in kind. He will need to experience the proper hallmarks of love in order to grasp and manifest the other techniques
One Heart, One Halo - His most dynamic ability is limited to one manifestation/technique use at a time. It takes a few moments to reform his halo and redirect his focus to change which aspect he wants to use. What's more he can only channel so much energy based on how strongly he or the source of his love is feeling. Larger displays of power require stronger or larger feelings present to be drawn upon.
Infatuation Infusions - He might cross his arms and frown at love but as an entity of the stuff he quite literally requires the stuff. Oliver needs to sup on both lust and love energies in order to function properly. He can get them pretty easily by siphoning the ambient energies from people around him, but he also has to make the conscious effort to do so. The best ‘meals’ come from actually witnessing or partaking in acts of love or lust but watching people clodhop through these acts tends to put him in a sour mood and he refuses to legitimate practice acts of love.. If he refrains from ‘feeding’ on one or both sorts of energies it affects him negatively making him slowly weaken like a starving human. Without enough love energy, he begins to get depressed and lonely, pining for companionship. Without lust energy he begins to get horny. Eventually he will fall into a coma if he doesn’t ‘eat’. So despite his dislike for them and their foolishness, Ollie needs people.
Ain’t No Faking It - Oliver, much like his parents cannot emulate or fake the power of true love. True love is a one of a kind sort of power that can’t be artificially manufactured even by them. They can nudge and scoot people closer to it but it is up to people to make the deepest connections.
Love on Sight - In order to channel the love energy from another person and utilize The power of Love, Ollie needs to be able to set eyes on that person. If he is alone, blind, or unable to see someone clearly enough to make out their face, he can’t draw energy from them. His father has suggested he could develop the ability to draw on the energy of those who honestly and earnestly love or lust after him without seeing them simply by tugging on the metaphysical bonds of love, but well... that would require Ollie to establish such bonds first.
I’m Not People - Ollie will be the first to remind others that he isn’t human, quite far from it. He was raised by Greek gods and demons from Hell. He isn’t beholden to their rules or laws or silly ethics which can cause awkward situations when people take offense to his antics. He is however bound by the dictates of Olympus and the mandates of Hell so there are lines he cannot cross without having to repent or suffer punishment. These laws include such things as killing a mortal, widespread influence of affairs without prior approval, giving certain materials or knowledge to humans, violation of claimed locations, and other such edicts.
Immortal, Not Invincible - His stamina and durability are superhuman and while almost nothing of the mortal realm can actually kill him, he can still be harmed physically. Energy and magical assaults tend to have an easier time of causing him damage but even he can be put out of commission by a severe enough beating. He can heal from things that should kill a person, but he has to spend the time doing it.
Love is Insanity - Firstly, pleasure in and of itself is somewhat addictive for humans and this is even more so with Oliver. His influence can become addictive to others if put on them repeatedly or for a prolonged period, causing people to become obsessed by accident and could later go through withdrawal like symptoms. And I mean, violently obsessive. Though he can induce such feelings on purpose, he rarely does. His love truly is a drug.
Strengths:
Warrior on the Battlefield of Love - Oliver has literally been trained by the gods of War on Olympus. He can fight on par with the likes of any warrior and hold his own. He isn’t perfect and has never been allowed to partake in a real war, but you’d best believe he’d be good at it. His expertise is with ancient martial weapons (swords, bows, spears, shields, etc) and unarmed physical combat (wrestling, martial arts, etc). Modern weaponry isn’t something he’s ever gotten into so he’s no good with guns and fighting against them is a bit tough but he can manage it, being fast enough to deflect a bullet when he’s focused.
Song in his Heart - Despite himself, Ollie likes to sing and dance and he’s quite good at it, given that either are classic forms of courtship.
Perks of his Patronage - Being the son of an immortal god has it’s perks because it makes him sort of a prince. He has a contingent of 'minions' he can call upon to do his bidding (they’re spirits of the wind and clouds) who will come and bring him pretty much whatever he wants whenever he wants. He’s got wealth beyond human imagining at his disposal as well so money is no object with him. He's also had a century to interact with and get a rapport going with a lot of useful characters from whom he can call in favors or reach out to for information. Demons, devils, gods, legends, celebrities (past and present), ghosts, and even a few monsters are all just a call away for him so getting his hands on some extravagant stuff isn't too difficult even now being trapped on earth thanks to his cloud babies.
Every Face a Mask - Oliver is super good at acting and making up personas and tricking people into thinking he’s this or that, hiding his true personality and the aspects of his own heart from view.
Bringing Sexy Back - When and if it ever comes to pleasuring another person physically speaking, even without resorting to his powers for aid, Ollie is an untested master. He’s seen and can quite frankly do it all and his unadulterated sensual prowess could leave someone temporarily bedridden.
A Cunning Linguist - His skills at manipulation and persuasion are quite exceptional. To go alongside this he actually speaks several languages, namely the ‘romantic’ ones such as French, Spanish, Greek, Italian, Latin, Portuguese, Romanian, and the language of demons.
History & Family:

The events that culminated in Oliver Orion began back in the late 1890’s. Eros, god of love was growing annoyed with his wife, Psyche. Psyche had become infatuated with one Sigmund Freud and his works on psychology, insights that she herself had been whispering in his ear and he had been running with and making great leaps and bounds in understanding the human mind. Eventually, the goddess was taken up by the ideas that would eventually become the Oedipus Complex Freud is known for. She expressed these ideas in a teasing fashion to her husband who bore with the teasing for some time until he finally set out to spend some time away from home so as to get away from the maddening idea that he wanted to lay with his mother.
In his travels he was drawn in by the allure of a succubus daughter to Lillith, Ailo (though she tends to go by Lily). The sheer erotic power shed by both of them was too much for them to pass up and when they spent a week with each other, Oliver was conceived… vaguely by accident.
When he was born however, Eros was not one to shy away from his duty as the boy’s father and took him in. The god bore no ill will towards the demon who had given him a child nor did his wife, who understood his nature as a god. And so it was that Oliver Orion was brought up occasionally passed back and forth between time with his father and time with his mother.
He was brought up to understand the nature of love and lust and the human condition, a godling in the ever expansive list of the godly family tree. He was taught by the ghosts of philosophers, by gods, by demons, and spent decades in their care, growing and learning what it was to be what he was. He took particular delight in the pursuits offered by his grandfather and uncles when it came to martial combat. His father being the embodiment of desire and his mother a demon with no conscience, left its mark and so he was a mischievous little scamp doing as he pleased much of the time.
The innocence of his youth did not last forever or nearly for as long as his father’s had. His adolescence crept up and his sexual awakening happened around the time of the end of the second World War. As the Baby Boom got into full swing, Ollie began to notice that there was more to love than the pure and simple affection he had been most privy to. Lust came into play and he witnessed its power twist the hearts and actions of men and women. His father had often said that love was cruel but until then, Oliver didn’t quite understand. As sex and ‘free love’ became more mainstream and in your face as the decades moved on, Oliver became more sullen and confused, angst taking root in his heart and eventually he started to frown at the impertinence of man when it came to love.
Humankind seemed to adore the idea of love and yet they couldn’t grasp its meaning or the truths of it. They could speak the words just fine, but they took no heed of the warnings or ideas they espoused. Love was madness yes, but the madness they partook in by being foolish with their own hearts and minds was beyond his understanding. Why would they subject themselves to such heartaches by being so stupid and actively besmirching the beauty they yearned to possess? They wanted to be happy and find love and create more of themselves but they sabotaged themselves over and over. They spat upon the loves and passions of others. They even defiled the sacred bond and vows they took before the gods themselves and then begged forgiveness of themselves and the divine as if they were deserving! And so Ollie’s compassion froze in his chest.
He was a being made out of love for love, that was what it was to be a god in his fashion. They were the embodiments of ideas and the idea was beginning to crumble in front of him and so he started to question and dislike himself because he disliked the way humans treated love. He withheld his own love for them and pushed away opportunities to pursue the passion and delights of the heart and flesh. His parents were not so negligent as to not notice despite their busy schedules and eventually when he fell ill due to neglecting to fill himself with love and lust, they began to worry. Lily worried he was asexual somehow and Eros that he was an aromantic and if either was true, then he would eventually waste away while they watched. Neither wished to lose the boy who held such potential so after fixing him up and a few talks, they chose to send him somewhere.
That somewhere being Foresta Academy where he could see love up close, could witness lust and passion overtaking the young who had yet to make the mistakes of their elders so that he might turn around his ideas before it was too late.

Oliver is a half-breed, born from the coupling of a succubus and Eros (Cupid) making him sort of a demigod but still a being entirely empowered by the essence of love, both its dark and lighter aspects. His supernatural existence gives him some interesting capabilities, fueled by his divine and infernal halves.
Inhuman Physiology
As he isn’t in any way human, it goes to follow that Ollie is not possessed of normal human physical characteristics. He takes their shape but his physical qualities and attributes are all at or slightly above peak human capability (naturally speaking). His strength, speed, durability, stamina, reflexes, and senses are all notably about 3 times that a human of his build’s should be. His stamina and durability in particular are greater than normal. He can operate at peak output physically speaking for literally days on end. He can go about a week without the need for sleep. His toughness is such that low caliber gunfire causes bruises. He is also functionally immortal, with slowed aging and immunity to earthly diseases (though he is only resistant to earthly toxins, needing 2-3 times the dosage as his body would suggest)
More importantly (according to his family at least) though is his supernatural attractiveness. Everything about Ollie , when he wants it to be and sometimes when he doesn’t, is attractive. He is literally a delight to every sense. He looks good. He smells intoxicatingly good. His touch is always warm and could send shivers through a corpse. Even his voice makes the skin prickle. And this (in his opinion) unfortunate quality functions on everybody regardless of gender, orientation, or species. When he turns on the charm it’s positively enchanting. (And yes, he even tastes good).
His kiss, if he were to ever actually do so, warps the mind and senses of mortal (and most immortal) beings and only takes second place to a True Love’s Kiss.
Further, Oliver possesses a ‘true form’ one in which he has the hallmarks of both an angelic divine being and a demon. He has both feathery wings and a halo as well as twin horns and a lengthy prehensile tail. The wings allow him to fly (normal max speed: 150 mph), the horns are sharp and reasonably dangerous and the tail can function as a third arm or tentacle having the equal strength to either of his arms and is able to stretch to about 6 feet in length. His halo has another intricate and important purpose and is detailed below. he often keeps both aspects of his heritage tucked away and can summon forth any of them individually or together as he sees fit.
*Note: Thanks to his personality, Ollie usually tries to keep his charms turned right the fuck off since he doesn’t enjoy the attention. Even so, he’s still normally good looking and all that, but if he puts his supernatural oomph into, boy is it hard to look away.
Amokinesis
Oliver, as his heritage would suggest, is capable of manipulating love in other people able to induce it, redirect it, manipulate it, see it, and alter it pretty much however he sees fit. His dual nature as the son of the god of Love and a demon seductress has given him interesting insight and understanding of every aspect, both positive and negative of love.
He can temporarily induce love, desire, and pleasure in pretty much any of their forms save “The Purest, Truest Form of Love”. What he directs this attraction to is only limited by what he can think of and the degree he wishes to make them feel is up to him: friendly, aroused, infatuated, obsessed. What he cannot directly control is what someone does with those feelings and urges. He can increase the urge to an overwhelming level and cause someone to act on them, but he can’t dictate how they do so. So for example, he can make someone sexually attracted to an orange and then set an orange in front of them, but he can’t use his power to force them to get down to business in front of everyone with the orange. Thus the ability to manipulate desire (what people want) is the closest to actual mind control, but this power changes emotion, not logic.
Most people tend to become pretty amicable to his suggestions especially as their inhibitions break down in turn. The more he pours it on, the less control an individual has over themselves.
At the very most, he can make his influence last for around 24 hours. It's believed that he could increase this duration by opening up his own heart and compassion for others but well... yeah.
Alongside this ability and in order for it to work correctly, Oliver can see a person’s aura and their chakras and from that see the things they are attracted to, in love with, or romantically tied to as well as detect their particular fetishes and other proclivities. Thus he can detect intimate details if he wants to and tweak or change those, adding or subtracting from them. He does not gain a comprehensive understanding of their former partners or loves, but he can sift through the aura looking for those buried infatuations, it simply takes some time to dig through expired loves. He cannot technically read minds, but he can read and sense fantasies, desires, lusts and things someone has a passion for, especially while they’re thinking about them. To this visual ability a normal person has 8 chakras running up the center of their body and one located over their heart. By peering into each ‘chakra’ he can find details about that chakra’s particular type of love (the 8 types of love are mentioned below). He is capable of seeing the 'red strands of love' that connect those who are soulmates, however these threads do not manifest until someone crosses paths with their greatest love.
It is also of note that he cannot make someone dislike or stop loving something or someone, he can reduce that love to a minimal level but cannot fully remove or excise it. As his power is temporary their degrees of love will return to normal once his influence lapses. If the person really and truly takes a liking to something he sparks within them, that spark could catch fire and grow within them if that person works at or continues to develop that new love.
The Power of Love
Love and lust both produce emotional energy that Oliver is able to conjure, channel and use in several ways. He channels this energy from those around him and produces it himself and can call on that emotion to produce copious amount of divine energy. This energy is referred to as the 7-fold Flame, each color of the flame being tied to a different aspect of love.
When he uses this energy, the flame is a vibrant pink psychic fire whose heart is the color of the sort of love he is channeling or drawing on, the intensity and strength of the source of that love determines the potency of the effect and energy so picking the right source of unwavering love is usually in his best interest. Using his own Love energy is easiest but well, Ollie has some trouble with that (see his weaknesses and personality for more explanation).
Each type of love is tied to a color, and the hue of that color is dictated by the intensity and positive or negative aspect of that type of love. Positive love is brighter and more vibrant, negative or perverted love is darker hued and duller in color

White - Self Love This is the love from which all other loves are birthed. As it is said, Before you can love others, you must love yourself.
Oliver channels this emotional energy through his halo which is a manipulatable tool for him. It takes the shape of a hovering crown of pink flames with an inner depth hued by the type of love he is working with. When he wants to handle or manipulate this emotional energy, he tends to move and use the halo as a conduit for the energy.
For practical purpose, he can use this energy in several ways but only in one way at a time. In essence, his power is to manipulate and channel the emotional energy and these are the techniques by which he uses that energy. Each is simply a manifestation of the emotional energy of love, which as it’s been expressed to him, shows itself in many different ways.
Smoky Illusions - by extinguishing the flames, Ollie can leave his halo as nothing but dense magenta smoke which he can form into believable illusions. Any of the 5 major senses can be affected but any illusory creation is easily destroyed as they can be popped as easily as an over inflated balloon bursting back into wispy smoke. Usually this technique is used by harnessing love energy from the person the illusion is being used on so that it can imitate something or someone that person loves as drawn from their aura. This manifested after he came to understand and feel the fleeting nature of love.
Innocuity - By drawing on the love energy from up to 5 individuals at once, Ollie can make himself unnoticeable by those beings becoming essentially invisible to them. He just sort of fades from their sight and memory for the time he is inducing this technique or until he breaks the innocuousness by doing something so overtly obvious they can’t ignore it. This technique comes from the unrequited sort of love where the one you love doesn’t even seem to know you’re alive. Harming someone physically beyond say a pinch always counts as breaking the technique, though pushing someone doesn’t many times. This doesn’t work on those without the capacity to love or the likes of cameras. Having experienced a somewhat juvenile crush, but not having the feelings noticed or returned created this technique.
Terrible Beauty - By pushing love energy into his supernaturally good looks, Oliver can invoke this technique and make himself painful to look upon. He becomes so beautiful the mortal mind cannot comprehend it and overloads, causing pain that increases in intensity over mere seconds that eventually results in temporary blindness should the foolish mortal not look away.
Heartbreaker - by reaching through the halo and into someone’s chest, Ollie can make someone feel real and true heartache, as if their heart were ripped out and they had lost every love in their life at once. It is a cripplingly depressing pain that leaves its victims cold inside. Basically the move stops the flow of love energy through a being’s system turning the fires of love into icy blocks within them. The torturous pain only lasts for about 15 minutes or so, but given its nature can feel like an eternity. When Ollie had his heart broken by the depressing state of how love works in the world, he gained understanding of how to perform this technique. In truth, he has yet to get over this heartbreak and it is somewhat poisoning his being very slowly.
Physical Empowerment - By channeling the love energy into his body, Ollie can enhance one of his physical attributes (strength, speed, stamina, durability, agility, or senses) to superhuman levels at a time. The degree of this empowerment is dependent upon the type of love he is drawing from. Blue or yellow love double his efficacy, indigo and orange triple it, and violet or red love quintuple it. Green raises the attribute about 1.5x normal and white love fluctuates based on the user’s own acceptance and love for themself. Milestone: Performing an act of truly selfless love.
Reflections of the Heart - by sampling some energy from someone’s aura and plucking an idea or memory from it, Ollie can veil himself in an illusion and take on the appearance of someone’s loved one or fantasy. It is a complete illusion meaning he looks, sounds and smells like the person though it is up to him to perform as that person. Milestone:
Time Stands Still - This ability draws on the altered perception of time standing still during a kiss. By casting his halo around himself in an area no more than 50 feet in diameter, everything inside the ring seems to move exaggeratedly slow, as if moving through molasses to him while he continues to move at full speed. To those within he seems to become a hazy blur, difficult to track or focus on. If something is pushed outside the ring it returns to full speed. While inside the ring, Ollie cannot physically harm another person or being directly. Milestone: An all encompassing kiss that makes the world melt away.
Passionate Flame - The 7-fold flame is most often not allowed to produce actual heat, but can do so intensely when it is channeled in this method. Essentially Oliver can produce and manipulate the romantic energies as fire. He is artful in his manipulations able to shape and throw his flame in many imaginative ways. He does not gain control over any fire except that which the halo emits and he is immune to the effects of his own halo’s flames. This thermal manipulation is reversed if the user's heart runs cold, producing ice in place of heat. Milestone: Experiencing overwhelming passion for another person that probably results in carnal love making.
Sexual Healing - if he conjures his halo whilst performing a carnal act or favor on someone, he can heal their wounds by channeling the love energies into them. Good luck getting him in bed though. Even for those not actually injured, the act is revitalizing once his partner(s) catch their breaths. Milestone: Losing one's virginity.

Appearance:
Oliver stands at about 5’10” with lush dark brown hair. His hair has a natural wave and curl to it that when sufficiently long, it forms relatively large ringlets. His eyes keep up the dark appearance being brown in color, though their hue is somewhat morphic, seeming to alter based on what he is wearing and sometimes seeming to be lit by an inner golden light.
His skin has a slight olive tone to it and a perpetually healthy, rosy blush. In truth it is often about a step away from being considered ‘glowing’ in all honesty and there isn’t a single blemish marring the creamy complexion. Alongside his impressive complexion, he is possessed of a lean and muscular physique, incredibly athletic in nature. Aside from a natural inclination towards the male ideal of beauty, decades of martial training at the tutelage of war gods has left him with the conditioned body of a warrior and it shows.His posture is proud and impeccable, generally relaxed as if he has next to nothing to be overly concerned about as if he feels safe to stand so tall.
Perhaps the only thing that really mars his good looks is the slight scowl or frown he often wears, as if incessantly annoyed by something. In truth, it’s not an inaccurate assumption to make really. He can come off as standoffish simply based on his body language with the crossed arms or upraised chin, his sense of pride exuding in such a way that he can make it seem as if the people around him are beneath him.
His choice in clothing is also somewhat interesting, his brooding attitude usually causing him to lean towards darker hues, avoiding colors towards the red end of the spectrum. That said, white is a common choice of color for him as well, always pristine as if brand new (which they usually are). And that’s honestly if you can get him to keep his clothes on. Over a century of running around with the likes of greek deities and naked demons has left him feeling uncomfortable in clothes sometimes what with how tight and restrictive they can feel these days. He’s just as likely to walk around naked or draped in a long strip of silk, slung around him like a toga. He’s not at all bashful about his body and it shows and he quite frankly has absolutely no reason to be either. A lot of people would take one look and honestly state his wearing of clothes should be a crime.
There is a small tattoo of an Omega symbol around his left nipple. It is this tattoo that binds him to the planet Earth and prevents him from going back to Olympus or to Hell.
Personality:
The best word to describe Oliver’s personality is well… complicated. Given his upbringing, it’s not really that surprising that the nature of love has always been a driving factor of his life. Being passed back and forth between his parents, they endeavored to show him the nature of the world, especially when it came to love and lust. It (love) was never a difficult concept for him to grasp, especially given the fact that it seemed to be the major driving force of basically everything. Love is everywhere, in every song, every story, hiding under the surface of practically every aspect of life.
However it also didn’t take him long to discover that he was disillusioned by the emotion. Humans constantly spout off about loving this or that but they don’t take the word and its nature to heart at all. And it was this constant misunderstanding that they show that set him in his ways. People just don’t get it. They’ve been shown and taught and told so many of the subtle and not so subtle truths about love and they just squander and stumble through their lives pining for someone to give their hearts and souls to like they need someone else to survive. Like they all deserve true happiness in the arms of another. And it makes him sick.
Where he perhaps should foster feelings and urges to usher forth love and contentment, he instead feels something akin to extreme annoyance. He takes more personal pleasure in the pain and misfortune of others than he does in seeing them be happy. And it’s not really that he’s mean or malicious, he’s just kind of angsty. He doesn’t enjoy the existence he was born into having to suffer through watching people misuse the thing he holds sway over and fail time and time again to foster the relationships they build. He could swear that people just want to be miserable and he’s more than happy to watch them wallow in their ignorance.
In fact, underneath it all, his own self loathing is probably what drives his personality and unfortunately, that’s kind of bad for him. Ollie is a quasideity of love and loving anyone kind of requires that you can accept yourself first and since he dislikes having been made at all, his entire being is somewhat on its side. He refrains from loving or lusting after others for the most part wishing to keep to himself or his smaller circles instead of opening himself up to the pain of watching others get hurt or fail. He isn’t incapable of love, not in the least. In fact if he allowed it, his heart is as big as any and his drive to share love and pleasure is as insatiable as could be expected hearing from whose loins he comes.
He finds interacting with other people difficult because he’s never really sure if they like him for him or if his nature and powers are the cause. So in place of torturing himself by having what he sees as false relationships, he holds people at arm’s length closes himself off, resisting the urge to let them in. In this regard he can be self sabotaging, pushing others away or toying with their emotions for his own dark amusement. Of course he feels guilty soon afterwards but doesn’t often attempt to apologize for his behavior, he was raised by gods and demons afterall.
His moral compass by human standards is non existent. He can’t see the world as either good or bad. His very nature is a mixture and contradiction to these concepts existing in such a cut and dry contrast. He does what he wants when he wants with little regard to how others might react. If he does a ‘good thing’ it’s because he felt like it or has some other agenda attached to the outcome of that action. That said, he is aware of how to blend in and act inside of society perfectly fine and often concocts masks and personas to operate behind in order to get by.
As a godling, he is most used to standing in the background watching things play out, seeing the connections between people and watching them collide and spin through life. And when he feels like getting his hands dirty, he steps into the endless dance and sets the pace however he ses fit. So in essence, I suppose his greatest personality trait is manipulation.
He has extreme dislike for romantic comedies, Sigmund Freud ( who is the literal reason he was born), Disney movies (except Lilo and Stitch) or other media that romanticizes love and removes how cruel or inexhaustibly unfathomable it is. On the flip side though, he enjoys combat, schadenfreude, dancing, singing, witty repartee, and pranks.
Weaknesses:
Lacking in Love - Because he doesn’t love or accept himself and what he is fully (he does like bits and pieces of who he is) his powers are actually much diminished from what they could honestly be. Sometimes when he’s feeling particularly moody and self loathing, his abilities even falter and spike or valley in strength. This is what makes it difficult to control his powers sometimes despite his literal decades of operation with them. This weakness is further apparent in the profound lack of ability he has in actualizing or manifesting the more abstract forms of the power of love. Because of his lack of experience feeling honest love, Ollie cannot fully harness his abilities to their fullest potential. Simply put, because his own ability to love is stunted, so too is his full potential. If he begins to develop his own capacity to love himself and others, his abilities should grow in kind. He will need to experience the proper hallmarks of love in order to grasp and manifest the other techniques
One Heart, One Halo - His most dynamic ability is limited to one manifestation/technique use at a time. It takes a few moments to reform his halo and redirect his focus to change which aspect he wants to use. What's more he can only channel so much energy based on how strongly he or the source of his love is feeling. Larger displays of power require stronger or larger feelings present to be drawn upon.
Infatuation Infusions - He might cross his arms and frown at love but as an entity of the stuff he quite literally requires the stuff. Oliver needs to sup on both lust and love energies in order to function properly. He can get them pretty easily by siphoning the ambient energies from people around him, but he also has to make the conscious effort to do so. The best ‘meals’ come from actually witnessing or partaking in acts of love or lust but watching people clodhop through these acts tends to put him in a sour mood and he refuses to legitimate practice acts of love.. If he refrains from ‘feeding’ on one or both sorts of energies it affects him negatively making him slowly weaken like a starving human. Without enough love energy, he begins to get depressed and lonely, pining for companionship. Without lust energy he begins to get horny. Eventually he will fall into a coma if he doesn’t ‘eat’. So despite his dislike for them and their foolishness, Ollie needs people.
Ain’t No Faking It - Oliver, much like his parents cannot emulate or fake the power of true love. True love is a one of a kind sort of power that can’t be artificially manufactured even by them. They can nudge and scoot people closer to it but it is up to people to make the deepest connections.
Love on Sight - In order to channel the love energy from another person and utilize The power of Love, Ollie needs to be able to set eyes on that person. If he is alone, blind, or unable to see someone clearly enough to make out their face, he can’t draw energy from them. His father has suggested he could develop the ability to draw on the energy of those who honestly and earnestly love or lust after him without seeing them simply by tugging on the metaphysical bonds of love, but well... that would require Ollie to establish such bonds first.
I’m Not People - Ollie will be the first to remind others that he isn’t human, quite far from it. He was raised by Greek gods and demons from Hell. He isn’t beholden to their rules or laws or silly ethics which can cause awkward situations when people take offense to his antics. He is however bound by the dictates of Olympus and the mandates of Hell so there are lines he cannot cross without having to repent or suffer punishment. These laws include such things as killing a mortal, widespread influence of affairs without prior approval, giving certain materials or knowledge to humans, violation of claimed locations, and other such edicts.
Immortal, Not Invincible - His stamina and durability are superhuman and while almost nothing of the mortal realm can actually kill him, he can still be harmed physically. Energy and magical assaults tend to have an easier time of causing him damage but even he can be put out of commission by a severe enough beating. He can heal from things that should kill a person, but he has to spend the time doing it.
Love is Insanity - Firstly, pleasure in and of itself is somewhat addictive for humans and this is even more so with Oliver. His influence can become addictive to others if put on them repeatedly or for a prolonged period, causing people to become obsessed by accident and could later go through withdrawal like symptoms. And I mean, violently obsessive. Though he can induce such feelings on purpose, he rarely does. His love truly is a drug.
Strengths:
Warrior on the Battlefield of Love - Oliver has literally been trained by the gods of War on Olympus. He can fight on par with the likes of any warrior and hold his own. He isn’t perfect and has never been allowed to partake in a real war, but you’d best believe he’d be good at it. His expertise is with ancient martial weapons (swords, bows, spears, shields, etc) and unarmed physical combat (wrestling, martial arts, etc). Modern weaponry isn’t something he’s ever gotten into so he’s no good with guns and fighting against them is a bit tough but he can manage it, being fast enough to deflect a bullet when he’s focused.
Song in his Heart - Despite himself, Ollie likes to sing and dance and he’s quite good at it, given that either are classic forms of courtship.
Perks of his Patronage - Being the son of an immortal god has it’s perks because it makes him sort of a prince. He has a contingent of 'minions' he can call upon to do his bidding (they’re spirits of the wind and clouds) who will come and bring him pretty much whatever he wants whenever he wants. He’s got wealth beyond human imagining at his disposal as well so money is no object with him. He's also had a century to interact with and get a rapport going with a lot of useful characters from whom he can call in favors or reach out to for information. Demons, devils, gods, legends, celebrities (past and present), ghosts, and even a few monsters are all just a call away for him so getting his hands on some extravagant stuff isn't too difficult even now being trapped on earth thanks to his cloud babies.
Every Face a Mask - Oliver is super good at acting and making up personas and tricking people into thinking he’s this or that, hiding his true personality and the aspects of his own heart from view.
Bringing Sexy Back - When and if it ever comes to pleasuring another person physically speaking, even without resorting to his powers for aid, Ollie is an untested master. He’s seen and can quite frankly do it all and his unadulterated sensual prowess could leave someone temporarily bedridden.
A Cunning Linguist - His skills at manipulation and persuasion are quite exceptional. To go alongside this he actually speaks several languages, namely the ‘romantic’ ones such as French, Spanish, Greek, Italian, Latin, Portuguese, Romanian, and the language of demons.

The events that culminated in Oliver Orion began back in the late 1890’s. Eros, god of love was growing annoyed with his wife, Psyche. Psyche had become infatuated with one Sigmund Freud and his works on psychology, insights that she herself had been whispering in his ear and he had been running with and making great leaps and bounds in understanding the human mind. Eventually, the goddess was taken up by the ideas that would eventually become the Oedipus Complex Freud is known for. She expressed these ideas in a teasing fashion to her husband who bore with the teasing for some time until he finally set out to spend some time away from home so as to get away from the maddening idea that he wanted to lay with his mother.
In his travels he was drawn in by the allure of a succubus daughter to Lillith, Ailo (though she tends to go by Lily). The sheer erotic power shed by both of them was too much for them to pass up and when they spent a week with each other, Oliver was conceived… vaguely by accident.
When he was born however, Eros was not one to shy away from his duty as the boy’s father and took him in. The god bore no ill will towards the demon who had given him a child nor did his wife, who understood his nature as a god. And so it was that Oliver Orion was brought up occasionally passed back and forth between time with his father and time with his mother.
He was brought up to understand the nature of love and lust and the human condition, a godling in the ever expansive list of the godly family tree. He was taught by the ghosts of philosophers, by gods, by demons, and spent decades in their care, growing and learning what it was to be what he was. He took particular delight in the pursuits offered by his grandfather and uncles when it came to martial combat. His father being the embodiment of desire and his mother a demon with no conscience, left its mark and so he was a mischievous little scamp doing as he pleased much of the time.
The innocence of his youth did not last forever or nearly for as long as his father’s had. His adolescence crept up and his sexual awakening happened around the time of the end of the second World War. As the Baby Boom got into full swing, Ollie began to notice that there was more to love than the pure and simple affection he had been most privy to. Lust came into play and he witnessed its power twist the hearts and actions of men and women. His father had often said that love was cruel but until then, Oliver didn’t quite understand. As sex and ‘free love’ became more mainstream and in your face as the decades moved on, Oliver became more sullen and confused, angst taking root in his heart and eventually he started to frown at the impertinence of man when it came to love.
Humankind seemed to adore the idea of love and yet they couldn’t grasp its meaning or the truths of it. They could speak the words just fine, but they took no heed of the warnings or ideas they espoused. Love was madness yes, but the madness they partook in by being foolish with their own hearts and minds was beyond his understanding. Why would they subject themselves to such heartaches by being so stupid and actively besmirching the beauty they yearned to possess? They wanted to be happy and find love and create more of themselves but they sabotaged themselves over and over. They spat upon the loves and passions of others. They even defiled the sacred bond and vows they took before the gods themselves and then begged forgiveness of themselves and the divine as if they were deserving! And so Ollie’s compassion froze in his chest.
He was a being made out of love for love, that was what it was to be a god in his fashion. They were the embodiments of ideas and the idea was beginning to crumble in front of him and so he started to question and dislike himself because he disliked the way humans treated love. He withheld his own love for them and pushed away opportunities to pursue the passion and delights of the heart and flesh. His parents were not so negligent as to not notice despite their busy schedules and eventually when he fell ill due to neglecting to fill himself with love and lust, they began to worry. Lily worried he was asexual somehow and Eros that he was an aromantic and if either was true, then he would eventually waste away while they watched. Neither wished to lose the boy who held such potential so after fixing him up and a few talks, they chose to send him somewhere.
That somewhere being Foresta Academy where he could see love up close, could witness lust and passion overtaking the young who had yet to make the mistakes of their elders so that he might turn around his ideas before it was too late.
