With the wind pushing down most of every plant nearby, Yokasf laid in a patch of brushing flowers, staring at the sky full of clouds. Out of all the places on the island, this was one of Yokasf's favorite places to be, due to how many colors there are to witness for himself, and also the breeze is much fresher in an open space such as here. Though, Yokasf's presence detracted the number of students from where he was, which was why the garden was nearly devoid of life besides the plants themselves. As for laying down next to the flowers, Yokasf was usually at his most comfortable at this position, also he liked the flowers brushing up against him strangely enough, then again, he is considered strange to begin with. Humans are so picky.
There's also another reason why Yokasf was laying down at the garden. Recently, he showed off his power to a handful of students last night, which where they accepted the invitation to enter one of his dimensions, a newly-made one in fact. From what he could tell from there reactions, varying from amusement to paranoia, it might be beneficial to develop that same dimension, more accurate to human standards then his previous worlds, thus the desire to learn more about how the world functions became a increasingly priority for Yokasf, starting off with how the wind feels. From what Yokasf has gathered so far from his research, the wind was a strange phenomena, and required more research. he continued to lay there, letting everything transferring its knowledge to the eldritch horror.

It was a beautiful day- gentle winds worked through fabric and a soft sunlight permeated dark skin- and on beautiful days, Oghenero was nostalgic.
The warmth of the sky and air seeping into her skin, Nero was on a walk. A journey. A mission- a mission to feed this awful feeling and subsequently get back to work. Dwelling on the past was useless, just as was the lingering sadness that stuck with her on days where she could do nothing less but miss her home country.
The equator was a warm place- far warmer than this, of course, but the humid, rainy, hot weather that she recalled in Nigeria was the perfect breeding ground for cashew trees and lilies and Birds of Paradise. She recalled a time when her family's home had a massive garden- something the wealthy could only afford since it was filled with Amaryllis and Mahogany and Jasmine and Colas and a myriad of other plants that held the sole purpose of beauty. The garden was always Nero's favourite- she and her mother would go and sit and play string instruments and drink ice-cold Zobo and listen to the birds as the breeze washed the sun into their faces and their hair. It was sublime.
But she was not in Nigeria. She was no longer a little girl. Nero was an adult, and a student, and one with a strange power that she kept so secret it was like she didn't even go to a school for strange and gifted students.
And this was why, as she worked her way through the fields of the rose garden, wind picking up her dress as she raised her arms above her head, introspective, she was startled upon seeing some strange creature lying down nearby. Sure, she saw plenty of odd people while at school, but in moments like these where there was only a present her and a past memory, Oghenero had forgotten that magic and cryptids and scientific abominations existed.
And so, she screamed.

Yokasf heard the distinctive sound of a human scream coming from someone around the area, but didn't react imminently to the noise at first. If anything he thought per chance, it could be unrelated to him as he was sure that he was covered in flowers, but Yokasf knew that wasn't the case. In an attempt to calm the person screaming, Yokasf silently and eerily rose up from his position, or more like floated up back to his feet, like a fragile lever being pulled to the side very slowly. Then in the most disturbingly gruesome way to scan an area, he spun only just his head around to spot a woman screaming in horror, directly at him. If Yokasf was capable of sighing, he would have right then and there.
He spun the rest of his body properly, and for a moment thought about just ignoring her until his lessons on interacting with humans popped up in one of his many, distorted minds: "If you find someone in distress, lend a hand and comfort them."
So with the intent to calm the screaming, Yokasf begun to walk towards the screaming, with both arms outstretched.

Her eyes unsure of what she was witnessing, Nero raised a hand to her temple, lightheadedness taking over. She was in another world, she was sure- and it was true, for while she believed she had been transported into some nightmare, her brain was stuck in the world of the past. As the creature rose and lumbered towards her, approaching with arms outstretched towards her like some hungry beast, she nearly fainted before her mind collected itself and she realised that perhaps she was overreacting.
Overreacting? That was not Oghenero! Every reaction she had was perfectly reasonable and warranted, quite obviously. In an instant she was back into that other world, reason gone once again, body frozen in her shock. She simply stared, wide-eyed, at the eldritch being, arms stiff, shoulders raised, and fists clenched. Her paralyzed legs were calf-deep in tulips and carnations and she felt as though their leaves and stems were wrapping around her, trapping her, suffocating her circulation. It was like the desperate embrace of her young cousins when she had to go home, clinging to her, begging her to stay longer.
And in that brief moment, the sickly desire to be home and in a past memory once again, she accidentally used the opposite of her power for the second time in her life- although she didn't know she had done it.

As he approached the noise ever so curiously, Yokasf started to feel an oddly unidentifiable emotion inside the various inhuman feelings inside him. That feeling was slightly alien to his very core, and wow, did Yokasf felt it chilling down his body. At first, it was a warm feeling, and Yokasf didn't mind it until it continued to grow. The feeling then begun to suddenly overwhelm him, temporarily stopping him in his tracks, shaking him from the outside with twitching that doesn't look right at all. Inside however, his very existence was being violated to the core with his emotional boundaries stretching beyond their unintentional limits.
The feeling of human love, in the emotions of an cosmic horror, does not mix very well. This is also how Yokasf started to spout limbs of unforeseeable places both lapping and under-lapping, both left and right, and both destructive to a mind of a physicist and a lunatic.
This feeling, Yokasf doesn't not like it at all and in effort to stop it, a screech of pain echoed out from a unholy void, and as fast as a speeding rocket, shambled and bounce everywhere, smashing himself into everything object to stop this strange emotion from torturing his soul.

As a screech pierced her ears, Nero was almost immediately knocked back into the present. The present where she had a special power, the present where she lived in an island off the coast of the States, the present where her parents had carelessly sent her to a boarding school and her mother no longer sang her Igbo songs and put flowers in her blonde hair. She was still shocked, and still scared, but now slightly less worried.
Backing away from the Eldritch creature, Nero Stood at her full height, holding her hands in front of her as the being spouted new limbs and orifices rapidly. "S-stop! What is wrong with you?" She hesitated, maintaining her distance as the creature slammed himself into petals and thorns without discretion.

Yokasf continued to squirm around in pain, squirming around among the plants and flowers, crushing every petal and sending soil up into the air. Yokasf's mind was in pain, and this feeling, this bizarre feeling, it was excruciating. He flailed himself into the dirt, and almost appeared to be burrowing himself into the ground, with appendages and all. Yokasf demanded the pain to stop, but no one heard, only demented screeches crying out into nothingness.
But then, as if the world went silent, the pain suddenly stopped. With no warning, nor farewell, Yokasf felt the pain just vanished. Gone. Yokasf laid still in the now-partly ruined garden, breathing heavily and curling himself into a self-made ball, with all of his extra limbs retracting into himself and vanishing from sight. He was oddly still, pondering on the pain inflicted on him. Yokasf did not like it at all. He begun to shiver in position, scared of the pain returning to harm him, and unaware of his current guest in front of him.

Nero watched with fear as the eldritch being created a crater of crushed flowers around them, becoming their own meteor once they finally stopped, laying still in the ground. A few petals that had been ripped from their stems floated in the air around, and it was as though time stopped for a moment. Cautiously, Oghenero crept closer as time stretched by with the creature only shaking.
"Are you alright there?" she asked carefully, leaning in the direction of the being at the heart of destruction, not wanting to move much closer. She narrowed her eyes, trying to decide if this... thing was a student at her school, or just some sort of weird Lovecraftian thing drawn to the magic of the island. Biting her lip, she took another step forward. "Do you need me to get help?"

To Yokasf, a storm had just swept away from the air, and with difficulty, stood up with petals and pieces of plants falling off of his body. The shakes were calming down, and his mind was beginning to focus itself to the mortal plane. While still fearful of the pain returning, Yokasf looked around the garden, and saw a horrible sight. The flowers that he been laying down with were all over the place. Bits that pieces of plants and dirt were scattered from the Yokasf's outburst, ruining the section of the garden. He felt a new feeling building up inside him, this time a more familiar feeling he already have gotten used to over the years; the feeling of sadness.
He then remembered the human he was going to greet. He turned to her and walked up close, a bit slowly this time. He somberly reached into his clothes and pulled out a medium-sized notebook and a pen. He wrote inside for a few moments, and then revealed it to Nero.
'I am sorry. Ruined flowers. Yokasf is bad. Forgive. I did not mean to scare.' was written on the page.
