A thick red and black plaid blanket lay stretched out beneath the willow tree. Compared to the monstrous tree, Olwen looked very small. Her homework was scattered about the cloth, organized in a very disorderly way that only the creator would understand. Classes were not easy, as usual, and the amount of homework that teachers dumped onto them was, as usual, basically torture. Everything was easy to understand but the excessive amounts of out-of-class work that they demanded was rude. She had a life, or so she liked to believe.
Spring was coming but the bite of Winter still clung to her skin like morning dew. In fact, she had accidentally fallen asleep while working on Physics homework and woke up to find her hair crusty from the chill. The jacket on her back was thick and lined with fuzziness though she had forgotten to bring along a nice hat this year.
Evening had come early, or so it seemed, and she knew that eventually she would have to leave. Her bright sapphire eyes rolled upward to the sky and watched the world spin. Creatures of the island were beginning to wake up from their long slumber. All the while Olwen simply wished to find a warm hole to hibernate in herself.

Azorra awoke slowly and as she realized where she was, she frowned, but sort of gotten used to the very loud noise. Vampira saw her and yelled over the noise. " We are almost there, but we can not go too close to the castle. " Azorra-Astrid nodded, having been told where they where going, before they took off. She and Vampira where the only ones in helicopter apart from the pilots. Soon they landed and the helicopter opened its cargo hold. It was a little past sundon as they finally let foot on the large island. " She that large bright area? That is the school, i told you about but you have to go alone now... i still have some business to take care of. " Vampira spoke and gently nodded before going back to the inside and they took off, without the cargo area closing. Vampira still had a mission and would be gone for a few days. Azorra ran from the noise that started up again, but once the metal craft war far away, she slowed to a walk. She had her all of her Amazon gear with her and her viking fur coat and gloves, where covering her torso and head. She also had her mystical Hammer. Azorra-Astrid was walking slowly, looking at the huge and beautiful trees. She was also involontarily streching and spreading her wings. She had to more about a bit. She also glanced at the bright Castle in the distance. Suddenly something hard hit her in the chest. It was not a hard hit, but the thing fell backwards gently. She gasped and jumped somewhat, but her warrior instincts also acted, reaching out to told the something from falling. She then looked at the something and froze in great surprise. It was a girl she nearly knocked over. She made an embarresed cafe. "By Hera! i meant no malintent, please forgive me. " She spoke after a long second of being literally speachless. She also used her wings to stabilize herself as she lost her balance a little. She then wanted to just run off but the girl was actually in her path some that would be very rude.

As she studied the girl, she also closed her wings to not have it get caught in anything. She smiled at the girl who was around her own age and kind of clumsily took a step backwards. "I am called Azorra Astrid Olaffson... i am happy to met you. I was instructed by an instructor, to seek out Foresta Academy, but regrettably, i seem to have lost my path. Is it that illuminated fortress" She asked not too sure at the moment but spoke again. " I wish to enlist to the Foresta Academy, for i am in need of learning of how the modern era works. " She frowned somewhat sadly. She could not get used to being ripped from her original era, twice for that matter and be thrust into such an advanced age. " If i am not a burden, would you be kind enught to guide be to the Foresta Academy? I would be most grateful " She smiled slightly, and nodded. She also thought for a second and grew a little hopeful. "Olwen... that name is most familiar... are you from the North? Another Viking perhaps? " She had a hopeful look on her face. She then waited for her answer and possible help. She however also looked at the girl and her clothing style. For Azorra-Astrid she was dressed very unusually. " What era is this, Olwen? " She involontarily asked, and should not really hold back on asking.
(i hope the post is not too terrible? )

As the other girl stared at her wings, She grew very embarresed. She looked down on the ground, lowering her eyes. Her eyes then caught the cloth and the writing on the strange rectangular tablets that where while. She wanted to ask what those where but had a feeling that she would be laughed at. She however did had a puzzeled look on her face as she studied those flying soft tablets that she easily picked up and stuffed into her travelling sack. As Olwen said she would be happy to give her a tour, she smiled softly." For your guidance, you have my gratitude. " She smiled also bowing a little but also could not really help asking the next thing. "What is this campus that you speak of? I hope it is not far from the Foresta Castle... i do not wish to venture from the correct path. " She spoke. She then grew very serious and a little upset. "Great Hera! " She grunted in disbelive, shaking her head with wide eyes as she tried to understand what it meant for her. It really did mean, that she had lost her home, twice, to a third era that she wfelt that she would never understand." Enchantress be cursed! " She muttered to herself, and did not really realized that she actually said it out loud. She looked at Olwen in a slightly sad look but faintly smiled. " Aye, Scotland is a most charming place, i had the chance to stay there for travels there. " She said focusing on the past, instead of the terrible reality of her situation... it sort of worked. Azorra- Astrid nodded with some dissapointment that she was not a Viking. What little English she had learned was from another girl from Scotland. Azzora- Astrid was dissapointed that she just could not communicate in either of her original languages... it would have been so much more easier for her. She however became a little happier and grew proud when Olwen asked her. "I was given birth to, in Themiscyra, Greece " She smiled, remembering her true culture... that of an Amazon.

She listened to Olwen and nodded in understanding. " Aye, so this whole island is a most great camp. " She nodded and then grew confused and fairly overwhelmed. Things so so so so different in this era... so much more larger in scale, more complicated, faster, ect. She froze in concern when the other girl mentioned as town. " A town?... how advanced is the town compared with the likes of Bergen, or Sparta or Athens?. " She asked with some worry in her voice. She hoped it was not a modern styled town, as she simply would not be able to understand, could not understand, the modern world. She listened to Olwen and smiled warmly. "Know this, Olwen... your location is as amusing and entertaining as you make it be. " Azorra- Astrid smiled widely and nodded. She then listened to her question, she paused, not knowing howe to say it. She sighed at the great memories of her old life and spoke. "If you are interested. I was born centuries past, to the Amazon culture. " She spoke, and was proud to be who she was, proud of her Amazonian origin. "I resided my childhood years in Themyscyra, Sparta, Athena, Troy and a few smaller city-states, i was trained in the art of war and battle, and the fine arts of my time. After a fierce battle, betrayed by a respected shaman who cursed me to become dormant for eternity. It was, but centuries late,r that i was lifted of my wreched burden. Upon fining my family, friends, culture and home, long forgotten, i fled north to flee the pain. After months of travel, i took residence near a smaller town, shortly thereafter, becoming a Shield Maiden. " She smiled slightly at the memory. She then continued after giving Olwen a few seconds to digest the information." Alas, i lived as a Viking for but a few short years. It was at a glorious battle, when again, i was betrayed and smitten yet again. " Azorra- Astrid grew sad and fell silent for almost a minit, being at a loss of words from the painful memory. She however continued, bu with a shaky voice, from the sorrow "Upon being freed from centuries of deep slumber, i awake to the monstrosity that i have been cursed to be currently. I awoke to find my home be long gone and forgotten, yet again... finding myself in a world, witch i am unable comprehend " She spoke with a shaky voice from her emotional pain. She then fell silent.

" Bergen. " She said with a pleased nod. "I loved it so... even coming of winters was cold.. and was lucky to set said and travel and explore in the harsh winter. " Azorra-Astrid smiled softly. She took her hammer (that looked nearly totally like The Hammer of Thor, only very slightly smaller.), in her hand and as she walked she showed it to Olwen. "Observe... an enchanted war hammer, it aided me during quite a few of my battles. " She said and placed it back into its place in her thick leather belt. " Better in all areas of life it seems. " She said with unease in her tone. She was actually frightened, scared of many aspects of modern tech. She listened to her and nodded. " Aye, i had the... chance to experience unimaginable advancing of your transportation... and of it, some being as loud as thunder. " She shook her head with wide eyes as she still count not belive her eyes. And grew intimidated somewhat just from thinking it over again, after just having flown for the first time. " And it is a miracle for some, to gain the ability to fly and even hover in but a single place... great birds of metal... incredible and yet... terrifying. " She spoke with a frown. " Aye, this new era holds many secrets and things that frighten me and put my mind to worry and disbelive. " She admitted, handing her head slightly. " But brave this most great of changes, i must, having no other path but ahead. " She smirked, finally looked at the massive mansion. It was like the palaces of the Greek City-States for her, but much better lit and taller... and with more tech all around the Academy and grounds.

" Not just yet, if i may request. " The Pegasus girl asked, shaking her head gently and motioned to the sides of the Mansion. "I wish to see part of this most illuminated Palace. " She looked at all the lights, and at the size and all of the mansion, tring to process the information. " Aye... an Academy instructor knows of my arrival and presents. " Azorra- Astrid noodded and looked down at Olwen. " I am most hopeful to have my chamber deprived of modern tech... as i would not compihend how such are used. " She said worrying somewhat. " What of those? How can torches be so bright and powerful? " She asked pointing to a few lights. As she walked towards the mansion, she gently deveated from a straight path to try and see more of the main building. As she was looking at the size of the Mansion, she wondered how many slaves ran and kept the Academy and grounds clean and safe. "The Academy is most large. Such a grand structure is close to being the size of a City Palace of Greece... Olwen, many a slaves and peasants labor on the grounds and around the Academy? " She asked and was interested. Azorra-Atrid may have found another place to call a building her home, as she actually lived in the palaces of the different City- State of Greece. She felt a certain happiness being here, at a huge Mansion that reminded her so much of her old life. She smiled warmly.
