The small boy looked a bit confused and his confusion evolved into a high level or perplexity. However the perplexity did not last that long as his eyes faded back to brown as he looked down with a look of dejection and disappointment. "I had someone who became my first before, but he died." as he looked on the verge of tears, at the brink of the bursting dam as he then spoke further.
"Guess you do not want to be the first, of my allies"
A somber moment had now begun as he laid his head passed the man's neck as he sniffed, but did not allow his tears to flow. The boy was not one to show his emotion too openly, but he did not have a heart of stone. The boy had lived with his comrades in arms, the only allies he ever knew and in a moment he was left all alone. The first was the first friend he ever made, and the second was the one who looked out for him. He had enough allies to make a small tactical force, however his abilities not only far exceeded there's he was better at just about everything but the physical tests.
He remembered a portion of that day when he was sitting all alone.
"Hey, you over there what you doing?" as a small little boy with short white and brown hair looked up to a strange boy with all white hair and green eyes. The small boy just looked back at him a bit confused as he just pointed to himself and said, "Kotaro?" as the other boy looked at him perplexed. "Well i am ..... "
As the memory faded away as the tears in his eyes dried as his eyes became pale He pulled back to look at the man Cade again and looked down as he asked again, "Cade-san, is it okay?"

Cade cringed as the boy began to speak in a disappointed tone and aired some of his own dirty laundry. It was like he accidentally broke a mysterious machine that had unknown but important purposes and he had no idea how to fix it. When in teacher’s college he probably should’ve looked more into how to handle children because he surely had no one what to do with the things. To be fair though, Kotaro wasn’t the average child, possibly a demon one at that. Then again, in Cade’s eyes some kids can be demons.
Joking aside though, Kotaro elaborated on the notion of his ‘first’ and how his last first had died. Wouldn’t that make Cade his ‘second’ then? Either way, it was probably not best to question that logic when dead friend was still fresh in the conversation. Cade had been one to see death quite a bit in his past life, but it’d hardly ever be someone that was important or mattered much to him. Back then, his father taught him to mostly not let relationships get that personal considering the line of work they were in, but current times were different from back then. Instead, Cade had a weeping demon child in his arms and frankly he had no idea how to ease his torment.
He supposed he could just do what he always does, wing it. He grew a gentle smile for his student. “Hey hey, I never said I wouldn’t be. We have a master/mentor relationship going on here. I got your back and I’m sure you’ll have mine when needed. If I wasn’t interested in your safety, I wouldn’t be carrying you off to the Nurse’s Office now would I? This is exactly what people like us do, we look out for one another because we know no one else will. It’s the way the world works, we play the role of the underdog” the teacher rambled for a bit.

The small boy watched as the man known as Cade gave him a smile. In that moment in time the man may have sealed his fate in the future that would one day come to be, as they would rule over the corrupt world of man. This may have been one small little boy's childish dream, or the pure ambition of a long forgotten race of demons. The will of man, was ill like a disease. The will of the ancient demons was simple, the strong lead and the weak follow. However mankind had perverted this process as the weak would lead, and the strong would blindly follow. What were humans who feared their own power, but had no second thoughts on using the power of demons for their own gain. Why look to others when you can look to yourself is what the ancient demon race believed, and what the small boy understood was that to rule you needed power, but to see true power requires a race not blinded by fear and a lack of wisdom.
The master mentor relationship of having one another's back seemed to make sense. The weak follow the strong since the strong will protect them, and the strong lead the weak so that they can support them when they too become weak.
"Thanks Cade-san, so I am master and you are mentor." as the boy nearly looked like he was going to smile, but simply blushed a bit and hugged the man around the neck tightly to the point that it would just feel a slight bit painful. Before the small boy's eyes returned to normal as he fell asleep resting his head on Cade's shoulder as his grip loosened.

Cade merely snickered at the boy’s final sentence before he fell dead asleep. Here the boy was declaring his dominance to a man who was carrying him like a limp infant. If he really wanted to, he could cripple him and prevent the boy from dominating the world indefinitely, but the math teacher was hardly intimidated by the child. Even if he was a demon, he was horribly inexperienced, on top of being completely incompetent on the world as a whole. If Kotaro did succeed in his goal though, at least Cade would have a good word in with the overlord of Earth, but he had a feeling he wouldn’t be seeing that in his life time. In fact, if he does help the student activate his full potential, Cade wondered if the history books would see him as the harbinger of humanity doom. It was food for thought and he found that notion to be quite amusing.
“Yeah, you keep believing that kid” he muttered sarcastically as he slung the boy’s unconscious body over his shoulder. “I’m sure you’ll have so much to teach me” he continued in a mocking sort of way. He was more than certain the kid would be unable to hear his words, and again, he was more satisfied by the sound of his own voice than anything else. “Now then, where the hell is the Nurse’s Office?” he questioned as he resumed his aimless walk cycle into the maze that was the school’s hallway. Well, hopefully the child’s condition wasn’t too severe…
