Isaac wandered into the courtyard, taking a minute to survey the area. It was a change of pace from the cold, and rather dead forest surrounding it. He was dressed in a thick, orange sweater with pink striping, and thick black slacks, which seem to fall looser than the shirt. He carried a backpack over one shoulder, seemingly without a care. He hummed a faint tune under his breath, as he strode further into the area. Night was just settling over the area, bathing it in a darker light, which had Isaac squinting a little to see better. This was his first time in the academy, and now he didn't expect anyone to be awake at the time, so he pulled out his phone to give it a sparing glance, before slipping it back into his bag. He wasn't tempted to yell out, as he was positive most people were asleep at the time.

Carrying crates of materials can be an exhausting task, especially if you're freezing from the cold air at this evening, and has to bear the weight of precious parts and pieces, and while there are lights leading up to the academy, the shadows still linger, and shrouds the path with many, many hidden spots where there could be a stuck up rock or something much more lively stalking the night. For Lockwood, he didn't need to worry about such things. Where the air would chill someone to the bone, he cherished it blowing along his hair and feeling icy puffs of wind passing along his person, as he causally walked toward the academy with his minions in tow behind him lifting two large rectangular, wooden boxes with very peculiar smells that would be associated with rotten flesh.
That's why Lockwood chooses to move these crates inside around this late, to avoid any discomfort or unease among wandering students, or that's what he was told to do. Honestly, Lockwood wouldn't mind if he was walking in the middle of a social get together or passing through a busy crowd. Bodies can spoil if they aren't treated to a time frozen in storage, and while in chillier days like these that can extend the period of how these bodies last, it's still a rush to get back to the academy. Two animated corpses wrapped in sorts of capes and cloaks were carrying these crates, both moving with wavering, inhuman steps with Lockwood ahead to guide them on the right path. Lockwood himself was walking in pace with the two behind him, taking one long step with another right behind, exaggerating the length between each step. They were reaching near the entrance of the academy.
It was then they were about to enter the courtyard when Lockwood raised his hand to stop. Instantly, the minions halted their guidance and stood completely still. He paused before sneakingly striding to a person, most likely a student, standing somewhere ahead in the yard. Carefully, he took each step toward the student, each foot muffled from the force of the step being cut to a decimeter of silence. Once right in front of the back of the student, Lockwood did a brief glance behind him, the crates and the corpses are out of sight at this distance, and with that knowledge, he turned back to the student, bent down to his ear, and with a disturbing tone whispered, "You shouldn't be out this late~."

Isaac's whole body turned at once, as his hand clenched. He focused on the person in front of him, tilting his head, causing his hair to fall in an almost water like manner as he frowned. Even with his eyes giving off their natural glow, Isaac couldn't make out much about the person before him. Even still, he didn't know this person, which was why he took a fairly decent sized step backwards. Isaac focused on settling his heart rate before speaking.
"How would I know? I just got here, not even," He glanced at his phone again, before putting it away again, and saying, "Five minutes ago?" He didn't even seem to be phased by what was going on around him, if he was, he was good at hiding that little fact from the person in front of him. He shrugged, as if to say he didn't care.
"Besides, the night is the best time to take a walk. Though, I must ask, who are you?" He shook his head, smiling apologetically. "Oh my, where are my manners?" He bowed politely. "I am Isaac."

Amused, Lockwood hesitated as he observed the boy in front of him like a raven staring down from a branch. A new student, a new mind to play with. With a chuckle, he bowed as well, though a bit more flair then there should be as he took off his hat and bowed lower than his legs as he had his staff supporting him from falling too far below. Rising back up, he place his hat back on his scalp and brushed away any wayward strains of hair that gotten stuck to his face.
"You have my greeting Issac, I am Lockwood Drummond, professional teacher here at this academy," or at least before his classroom was exploded into a new balcony, he greeted back, "I believe that you must be, a new student here, from the items you are, carrying."
Lockwood took the time to straighten himself back up. His eyes completely focused on the boy, as if he was trying to gaze into his very being, and with a Lockwood-branded grin plastered on his face. He continued to speak, "I know about you, oh yes, the green lad. You were to be here when the sun was up, even if the night is more pleasing." According to the papers that he stole acquired in the morning, a new student was supposedly coming later today that had a green coloration to his skin. From the looks of things, it must be this child right here, and for Lockwood more fun to be had.

Isaac fixed him with a venomous look, scowling. Isaac's own eyes, especially in the current lighting, had a more reflective and glassy look, almost to the point where one could call it eerie. Isaac crossed his arms, scowl changing into more of an annoyed frown."Hpmh, well I guess they were expecting me to run on a natural schedule. I left early because I couldn't stand being near my madman of a father any longer than I had to." He then followed it up with, "While it was nice to meet you, Mr. Drummond, I have to ask, if you are a teacher, then why are you out late as well? I figured even you would need to rest after dealing with children all day."
Isaac clearly refused to give this man the benefit of seeing him angry. Oh no, Isaac was going to pay this man at his own game. After all, he was used to this type of childish behavior from students at his old school.

Lockwood didn't notice the change of tone in Isaac's voice, if he did, he didn't show it. He beamed proudly as he said, "Why that, my boy, is an excellent question. Why is Mr. Drummond out and about on this splendid evening? Well..."
He twirled his hair with one of his long, bony fingers, pretending to glance away awkwardly like a girl who was about to confess to her crush. "A sizable section of my old classroom was, demolished so to say. Alas, my classes are, postponed for the time being," Lockwood held a hand to his forehead dramatically like he was about to collapse, "Oh woe me, without my classroom, I am just a man, a man who takes a small part of his days walking out in these cloudless nights." He froze in mid-pose. Lockwood did two quick taps with his staff on the concrete, then straighten himself after a moment had passed.
"But enough about my problems, let's deal with yours, especially right now," and right on cue, a skeleton came bursting out of the ground behind some bushes in the shadows of the night. Without hesitation, it back flipped over the ferns and ran straight to Lockwood. It slid to a stop and saluted, making clacking sounds every time a limb or finger moved in conjunction. It then turned toward Isaac and bowed down with its arm sticking out like it was demanding something.
Lockwood spoke up, "First, let's deliver your luggage to your present dorm, if you please."

If Isaac was affected by the skeleton coming out of nowhere, he didn't act like he cared. Slowly, almost nervously, he removed his bag from his shoulder. "Judging from the fact that the skeleton was most certainly not here when I walked onto the grounds, I am going to assume you either know Necromancy or Necrokinesis, which aren't entirely different." Isaac shrugged. Both dealt with the dead, so it doesn't matter "Though, I have to admit, the theatrics were hilarious on your part. As for demolished... Explosion I'm going to assume? Those were normal back home, so I wouldn't put it past a student to do something that stupid." Isaac sighed.

Disappointingly, the boy didn't reacted to Lockwood's theatrics as he thought he would, which made his pride sting a little, if not a nibble. But if this newly inducted student didn't mind then...
Lockwood snapped his fingers and up came the two undead minions with the crates of bodies and their respective parts, who quickly stomped their way around the bush and made a corner turn around the building, heading to a smaller exit around back, "Well now, I think we stood here long enough, even I still need some papers to finish, oh yes. Thus, I suggest that while my servant here will take your luggage to your dorm, I, the great Lockwood, will escort you around if you don't mind."
He motioned to the skeleton. "But, if you are unwilling, I can just escort you to your room. I understand that travel to this island can be a bit, troublesome."

"Well, since I know what's going on now, perhaps it would be best if I learn the lay out of the school, before getting settled here. After all, some of the students may be confused as to why I seemed to show up out of nowhere."Isaac chuckled. He handed the bag over to the servant rather carefully, bones do tend to break easily, after all, even if his bag was very light, compared to other students' were, possibly. He didn't pack much, just a few sets of clothes, his jacket, phone, headphones, and a few books. Not much at all.

Once the skeleton received Isaac's bag in its bony hands, it obediently saluted and bounced each step to the entrance's door and slid inside. A few screams inside may have indicated that the skeleton is doing its job, a bit not as discreetly. Lockwood again chuckled and said, "Well, it's perfectly normal for new students to be dropping on this island like rabbits, since we've, ah, been getting much more attention lately. It makes me feel slightly jittery."
Lockwood, spun around and faced the night sky, with his head craning straight up. "I guess I'll show you around after all, well, you better keep up," and without waiting for a reply, Lockwood suddenly walked away, and into the entrance, holding the door ajar.

Isaac, very quickly, followed the teacher, as he seemed to almost have abnormal speed. "No need to worry, I can keep up." Water seemed to follow at his heels, seeming to suggest that Isaac either had been soaked earlier (Unlikely, his clothes were perfectly dry, even if he walked all the way), or he could manipulate water as he pleased. The latter was the more likely, given his behavior.
