PLOT & HISTORY

Foresta Academy is a modern fantasy role play with just some slice of life sprinkled in. The high school is set in our world, with just a few differences. Mythological and magical beings exist all over and humans have begun to feel more and more wary of them with each passing day. In an attempt to mimic these powers, scientists abduct humans and use them as experiments - resulting in some more or less successful gifted human beings. As these experiments continued, natural born humans with powers started to occur around the world as well. Every gifted human can in some way trace their powers back to a mythological or magical being.

Foresta Academy's founders are unknown right now, the information having been lost a long time ago or simply the founders not wanting to be known. This can cause much conflict in the school community from time to time, despite this though - it is obvious what the founders wanted. For gifted children to grow to be excellent in whatever they decide to do in their lifetime. Foresta accepts students and teachers from all walks of life, whether they be magical beings or scientific experiments.

 SETTING Foresta Academy is located on an unknown island in the Atlantic ocean. The school is a large castle that was built right in the middle of the island with a forest surrounding it on all sides (except for the village area). The forest shields the Academy from outside view, causing most ships to pass by the island without care. 

Students are able to locate the Academy through word of mouth among several other means. There is a magical spell placed on the island that acts almost like a calling card for gifted and magical beings, it is this spell which allows gifted people to know where the island is located. This spell also caters to those with altered DNA, etc. (scientific experiments) the sensation this spell gives is almost like a pull to the person - they innately know where they are going without any rhyme or reason.

 TIME An image for Spring, Summer, Fall or Winter can be found in one of the side bars to the left or top of the forum. There is no pre-determined month or date, and you are free to decide the month, day, and time (when you are role playing) as long as it fits with the season.
