Full Name: Sandrine Cecily Winton
Gender: Female
Age: 17
Power(s): Sandrine's power is a mutation that she obtained when she turned 14, that gave her powers over kinetic energy. She has the ability to absorb kinetic energy and then manipulate/control it, expelling it in 'physics blasts' or using it to keep her going even beyond normal human limitations. This makes her extremely resilient to all forms of damage besides things like fire and ice, anything that doesn't necessarily need to strike her to harm her. Otherwise she simply absorbs the energy put into the attack and uses it for herself. Overall, this power grants her three general abilities, which she has a habit of calling 'magic', referring fondly to each of her abilities as 'spells';
It is unknown as to why, but the mutation that caused her ability to do all of this also caused strange changes in her physiology, giving her longer, pointy ears and sharp features, like an elf. She assumes that it is simply for no reason at all, just like her mutation occurred for seemingly no reason.
Appearance: Sandrine has a condition known as 'Alexandria Genesis', which gives her pale skin and purple eyes. Her eyes are wide and bright, full of energy and life, and she likes to dye her hair bright blue (her natural hair color is blonde). Due to her mutation, she became more shapely and voluptuous, which was a surprise since she was already quite well proportioned in the first place, also due to Alexandria Genesis. Her face is small and heart-shaped, with large eyes and a small mouth (though her tongue is actually quite shockingly large, length wise). Her ears are low down on the sides of her head, and are long (about 6 inches) and pointed outwards. She has a very thin, weak looking neck, and a small forehead. Between her eyes is a cute little button of a nose, and she is almost always a little red in the face, as if constantly blushing about something, making her seem cuter. She is, for the most part, thin, but has an ample bust and wide hips, with long arms/legs and small hands/feet. Her hair is long, about lower-back in length, usually blue, and wavy. Due to her almost childish obsession with magic, she often dresses up like a witch, wearing silly hats and pretty robes, and almost always carries a wand or a staff around with her. She's about 5'1'', and weighs nearly 100 lbs., making her appear a bit frail due to her proportions, but because of her mutation she is very difficult to harm.
Personality: Sandrine has an obsession with magic, and will often try to show people her 'magic tricks', which can pertain to her powers and abilities or simply a card trick she learned on the internet last night. She's cute and child-like in other ways too, like her fascination with new and exciting things, and her love for sugary sweets. It's hard to make her angry, and even if you do it turns into sadness fairly quickly. She dislikes being angry so much that it makes her sad when she realizes that she's ticked off at someone. She can usually find a silver lining to just about anything, and seems a bit naive a lot of the time, even though she actually knows quite a bit about the world and even has a bit of a twisted imagination/mind. To be expected of such a childish girl, she's not overly interested in boys, but upon further investigation it becomes quickly clear that this is not because she is childish, but because she prefers other girls. In fact, in getting to know her it swiftly becomes apparent that she is, in fact, quite intelligent and insightful, and even a bit jaded to many things that would normally make a person cringe, such as overly graphic images or even death. Overall, she seems like a teen who never grew up mentally past the age of 7, but once you get to know her she's actually just an eccentric, intelligent, creative, a bit wacky, and overly kind young woman.
When she does manage to get angry, for one reason or another, she actually 'transforms' into her old self, except not depressed. She basically loses the childish act and gets way more serious, her eyes narrowing and her jaw setting in a determined way. When she's like this, it's difficult to calm her down, and she'll either lash out at whatever made her angry, or she will simply withdraw herself to some other far-off place and beat on inanimate objects to vent. She's afraid of being angry, so she tries hard not to let herself get that way, but that's not all she's afraid of. She's also afraid of losing her friends, mostly of being alone. She can't handle it, and just the thought of someone taking her friends away from her or leaving her is almost enough to make her panic, if she thinks her friend will be gone for a very long period of time. She'll often do anything to stay with her friends, almost clinging to them in a way.
When she becomes depressed, Sandrine seems a bit irritable and just sad in general, just laying around and doing nothing most of the time and occasionally crying if she thinks she can get away with it without being noticed. She doesn't like people knowing she's depressed, so she'll usually put up an obviously fake attempt to appear happy and cheerfully, like she normally is, but withing minutes she fails and goes back to being sad/miserable. She especially hates being depressed because it reminds her of when she tried to end her own life, and she believes she has no right to be depressed over anything smaller than a catastrophe, though she can't help it sometimes. She thinks that she's being selfish, and if there are people in the world suffering more than her she shouldn't be acting so miserable, because her brother and grandfather always told her that to get her to stop blubbering.

History/Family: Sandrine was three years old when her mother left her at her grandmother's house. She had simply been left there, with no explanation at all, because her mother had decided to move far away to try and deal with alcoholism and drug issues that she'd been fighting for years. Sandrine's grandparents took her in without questioning it or getting angry, and took care of her for years, until Sandrine's mother came back when she was 13.
Up until that point in her life, Sandrine had been through alot. Many of the people in her family died, sometimes even in front of her. Her own father died in her arms after overdosing on heroin, having a panic attack, and clinging to her so madly that it left bruises on her arms for weeks. She had to grow up way faster than she should have, and she would have tried to rely on her friends for support but she wound up moving around too much to actually have any; her only contact with someone her age being her one year older brother, who abused her verbally and generally made her feel like crap, sometimes even hitting her just for the fun of it and tying her up to posts until she begged to be let go, making fun of her the whole time. That resulted in her twisted, jaded mind, and the fact that she was never allowed to actually be a kid wound up with her acting so childish later on in life.
When she was thirteen, her mother came back and started getting more involved in her life. She liked it, but she didn't really know her mother and had grown up knowing her grandmother as her only real mother figure. So, she really ended up treating her mother like more of a friend than anything. Of course, the moment her mother got close to her, she left again and died locked in the bathroom of a strange man only a week later, adding just one more loss to Sandrine's life. She went on living, discovered that she was gay at the age of 14, and when she turned 15 both of her grandparents died within the same 5 months of each other.
Overwhelmed by the grief of losing so much in her life, and the thought of having to live with her brother who had been emancipated that same year, she fell into a deep depression that lasted for a month or two. At the end of it, she tried to commit suicide, but when she tried to hang herself she blacked out and woke up in the hospital, completely fine and recovering from 'dehydration' according to the records. The doctors were all very perplexed with her condition, as she appeared to have grown more voluptuous during her stay, and her ears had elongated. Somehow, a mutation had triggered in her body as a fear response to her attempt at her own life. It appeared to have just happened for no reason at all; it showed up out of nowhere as if by magic. She didn't know why, but she was no longer depressed, either, and in fact she felt very lighthearted and free for the first time in her life.
She left the hospital a day later and went off, living on her own for a month and becoming accustomed to her new powers which came, at first, as a shock to her. They just started popping into her head as ideas, and when she focused on them they just happened. After a month of living on her own, just wandering the streets and begging cheerfully for money, she started to realize something nagging at the back of her head. Something was compelling her to wander off in some random direction, towards foresta academy. When she arrived, she was a bit skeptical, but she soon let go of her inhibitions regarding the place, figuring that she may as well live there, since it promised to teach her and she had no where else to go.

Khalisha walked along the streets of Clover town, looking for the guild that was in town. It was called something like Blue Unicorn, or whatever. She hadn't really paid attention when being told about the guild; she just knew that she wanted to be there. She'd heard that it was a good place to become a powerful mage, and it had plenty of sexy men and women to boot. She just had to see if the place was for real, and if it was she simply had to join up with them.
As she walked, looking around for the guild hall and occasionally stopping to ask for directions, she started to shiver from the cold, whining a bit to herself and sneezing. "Nnng~ So cold~" She was about 5'3'', with an almost perfect hourglass figure (her butt was a bit wider than bust), and beautiful, dark skin. She had brown hair that was kept in a largely messy tuft atop her head, organized only by a few hair clips as if she had gotten ready in a hurry.
Oh, and she had large, soft, brown cat ears and an equally soft-looking tail that swayed happily behind her.
She was clearly not dressed for the weather, wearing only a hoodie that wasn't even zipped all the way up. The hood was down, too, mostly so she didn't have to keep her ears flat against her head. She was wearing a thin, tight, black leather collar, and two little, metal earrings in her left ear. As for bottoms, she was just wearing a simple, long black skirt that went down to her ankles and had a hole in the back for her tail; it was no wonder that she was so cold.
After hours of searching, Khalisha finally found her way to the front of the guild hall, and as she stood, smiling up at the building and taking it in, she thought, Wow!~ It really is real!, just before twitching her ears slightly at the sound of someone rapidly approaching. She turned just in time to see a blur of motion that appeared to be headed right towards the building she was in front of, but strangely, rather than freaking out, she just stared blankly at the blur and slowly stepped out of the way. Then, she simply approached the doors of the building and knocked curiously on them, standing with her legs together and her back arched a bit, ears flat against her head as she started to doubt if she'd even be worthy of joining up with such a cool-sounding place. "Hello? This is Khalisha, is anyone there? I was hoping to join up with your guild.." There seemed to be a slight southern twang to her voice; barely even there but still noticeable if one were to listen closely enough.
