Sales took a hit this week.
People still interested in product, but less likely to want to deal with a Gifted. What a conundrum. I've been able to sell a couple things at a markdown, but I will have to start using cheaper components if this keeps up.
Pheromone belt: cost- $250 dollars in materials, a week of time, and about 1/3 cup of blood
sold for- $500
Likely to last maybe four months if not worn constantly
Amulet of protection: cost: $316 dollars in materials (the ring was damn expensive), 8 days, and about 4 days of good health (got ridiculously immunocompromised for that block, which led to the worst cold of my life).
sold for- $800
Expectancy: unknown. Metal is a better bearer for enchantments, but hands are busy things. If worn on a necklace, effect is diminished, but the ring stays good for longer.
Clockwork beetle: cost- $75 in materials, 6 days, 4 drops of blood, a spirited dance in the middle of the night, and an electrical impulse. Mostly just a pain to assemble.
Sold for: $125
Expectancy: well, since the person who bought it was an absolute asshole, probably no more than a couple weeks of continued use.
Worst profit of the bunch sold this week, indicative of the types of jobs I've been getting.
Recharged the flying coat this week since I had a little downtime between jobs. It's getting easier to do, thank goodness. Enchanting ability is getting stronger. Hopes that there will be a day where I can put permanent spells on things high.
