Dear Mom and Dad:
Sorry I haven't written. Things have been pretty busy. I've met loads of people and I'm taking the classes you guys suggested. I'm trying to pull together a rugby club, but everybody seems pretty preoccupied with other things. One guy might have been interested, but I haven't seen him for a while, so maybe he changed his mind. He didn't really understand what rugby was, or why sports are good at all.
I'm having a hard time finding a good headspace to spend nights in. All of the kids here are pretty troubled and I might find one good dream for every four or five bad ones. One guy, Miller, had a pretty scary one. I haven't seen him around campus, so I don't know if he was a student or a townie. With baggage like that in his dreams, I wonder what he's like awake.
Nobody has bugged me about my power yet, which is good.
There are things happening in town that are a bit troubling, but they only happen at night and the school has a curfew in effect. I'll try to limit my dream-wandering to known students. I want to hit the town tomorrow, but I'll do it at noon.
I miss you guys and I hope everything at home is good.
