Full Name: Dalphia is her name, though she goes by Dal, Dalph, or her full first name, Dalphia.
Gender: Female
Age: 18
Power(s): Plant manipulation. She can make plants grow, die, produce fruit, etc. She loves nature and prefers the company of ferns over other people.
Appearance: Dalphia is naturally pleasing to the eye, however, she is not "attractive" or "hot". (She actually despises any comment more than "You look nice." Calling her something like "hot" or "smexy" gets you a nice glare or elbow-to-the-ribs gesture.) Her hair is a deep brown color with natural red and blonde highlights and it is quite long. Past her waist long. She often keeps it either just naturally down or in a braid. Her cheeks and nose are covered in a splatter of freckles. Behind her long lashes are her brown eyes, her right eye having a splash of green. Her teeth aren't perfectly straight, and she occasionally has a break-out of acne, but overall she has a nice appearance. She is about 5'6" and thin but not super athletic. She is often seen wearing boots, jeans, and a hooded-sweatshirt. She prefers comfortable clothes over flashy or nice clothing. Her ears are pierced twice, once in the "normal" area and one slightly above that. Often seen smiling!
Personality: Dalphia is nice, but shy at first. She often suffers from feeling like a social outcast. It can lead to a depressed attitude, but sometimes she doesn't care. However, make friends with her and you have a friend for life! She can be loyal to the point of hurting herself emotionally, and would do anything to help someone out. She is accepting of anyone who cares enough to try and get to know her, but she is known to be the "goody-two-shoes" type. If you were to try and tick her off, a good way to do that would be acting like a high and mighty individual or picking on someone that is an "outcast" socially. Another way would be being a spoiled, ungrateful person. She isn't very good at fights or come-backs though, so her point is rarely heard.
Edit: Dalphia enjoys spending time in nature, growing plants and exploring. She also has a violin that she is often creating music with, whether it be a piece or a made up melody. She has a strong fear of certain bugs, however, like spiders and beetles, which is unusual for one so loving of nature. But, Dalphia doesn't mind heights or other dare-devilish activities.

Weaknesses: Her first big weakness is making friends and feeling accepted. Her past has kind of shaped her thoughts of her own social standings. Another weakness Dalphia has is being around fire. Fire kills plant, so it scares her and trumps her powers a bit. Thirdly, she isn't super athletic so racing or playing tag or a sport isn't fun for her at all.
Strengths: Dalphia is quite observant, and really good at listening to others. She is also pretty good at surviving out in "the wild" since she can grow her own food in minutes. Her third strength is her loyalty and ability to make good friends with people that show the slightest bit of genuine interest in her.
History/Family: Dalphia was born in a rainy, green area and grew up with her two parents in a small home. Life was great until her parents found out about her power over plants. After that, it became a game of avoiding their weird daughter. Dalphia has barely any relationship with them and left them the moment she was 18. (And they kicked her out) They also didn't want anyone finding out about her power, so the decided to move every year whether Dalphia wanted to or not.
Due to all the moving, Dalphia developed her shy behavior. What is the point of making friends if after a year you never see them again? This causes a lot of mental distress and lack of self-confidence. The few friends she does have she misses greatly, and tries to keep in touch with.
Now, Dalphia keeps to herself for the most part and tries to blend in except when she is with people that she has made special connections with. She lives on her own, usually in wooded areas, and lives a simple life. She has no other family connections and left her parents to get away from the neglect they gave her.

As Dalphia entered her new school for the first time, she nervously tugged at the hem of her sweatshirt and kept her gaze low. Pulling the already wadded up piece of paper from her back pocket, she checked her schedule for her first class. D102, beginning art. Taking a deep breath she looked up from her study of the paper and tiling and looked at the plaques next to each door. D100 was the one closest to her. Avoiding people and eyes, she continued down the hall way looking for the correct room. Finding it, a wave of relief washed over her and she tentatively opened the door. The smell of paint, paper, and disinfectant met her as she scanned the room for a vacant seat. Seeing one in a back corner, she quickly walked over to claim it before someone else did. Removing her side bag, she sunk into the seat and started her observations of the other students in her class.
