Cade was a bit thrown off when she mentioned she ‘became human’ since the words sounded so legitimate coming out of her mouth. The whole being around during the time of castles wasn’t what perplexed him the most. He had no reason not to believe her words, it was entirely possible she was an ageless being. How possible was his issue with it, it was definitely outside his realm of belief, but then again so were most things that inhabited the island alone. It was just a strange thing, growing up with a father who believed he was invincible and ageless, and then actually encounter someone who could actually boast such an ability.

“Huh, you don’t look a year past twenty-five” he spoke with a huge smirk he just couldn’t hide with what he was saying. He twirled the bottle in his hand around testing it to determine how much was left, though his attention to the bottle quickly deterred when Jenna poke him in the nose. She for some reason had a fascination with the school, which sort of made sense since it was one of the island’s largest attractions. Well that and it was a safe haven for gifted people.

“Well, last time we met I was immensely drunk, so that would be why. I wouldn’t advise accepting an invitation from my drunk counterpart” Cade explained light in tone while bobbing his head slightly. “I suppose you could visit my classroom, but not during school hours”

Jenna got a mischievous expression on her face at Cade saying 'not during school hours.' Suddenly feeling as if she had to get out of the tavern at any moment, Jenna took Cade's hand - intentionally attempting to get him out of his seat by pulling on him. "I know I look very young, but let's go! It's probably night already anyway." Jenna offered Cade up a grin at this point, her expression suggesting that they would have a much more interesting time the sooner they got out of the place.
