It had taken Jenna about a week since seeing Soren to set up her whole entire plan to steal something from him. It wasn't the plan of stealing something from him that had taken her that long, it was more-so the process of getting that something valuable. First, she had figured out what security company he used and had somehow gotten lucky enough to come across nothing but men and one lesbian working there. It was little too convenient for her taste, but she had decided to accept it nonetheless.
Finding herself in front of Soren's house, Jenna could almost feel her whole being bubbling up with excitement at what she was going to do. Her entrance into the house was quite easy, due to one of the security people controlling the technology letting her in. Who would have had actually believed that her and Soren were related? Resisting the urge to full out laugh at that thought, Jenna made her way into the house with ease - her feet not quite touching the ground due to a small amount of air she was controlling to make it so. She had no idea how many traps there could be by her just walking around in one area.
Luckily, most of those traps were avoided by her simply floating by them. She found in some areas of the house she had to find a different direction to go to avoid setting off other alarms. It was upon reaching what seemed to be an office area that Jenna realized she had reached her destination. Behind a desk there was a golden torc (or older looking necklace) that stood out quite distinctly in the room. Jenna knew this was what she was going to take from him.
Lifting up the case, a sudden alarm went off and she knew she was too far ahead now to stop. She took the piece of jewelry off of the holder it was on and looked for her quickest escape. The quickest way out ended up being a window near her as the alarms screamed in her ear. She blew a powerful rush of wind at the window so as to shatter and make it so she wouldn't injure herself in the process.
With that being done, Jenna took off through the window with a powerful push off her wings. She didn't know how quickly Soren would be at his house or if he would even notice her but the woman didn't bother to stay and test out any of her thoughts. Instead she flew as quickly as she could away from his house - the piece of jewelry in her hand.

When Soren awoke from a deep sleep, he knew immediately that something was amiss. His vague suspicious weren't confirmed until a second later when an alarm went off in his house, filling each corner with the sound of blaring.
Beyond that sound, though was the sound of breaking glass from his office. He was already on his way and he cursed under his breath. There was only one person he could name who might be stupid enough to break into-
That devil woman had taken it. His neck broke out into metallic blue scales and his lungs filled with smoke. His run did not slow one bit and he dove out through the open window. It was a second floor window and the roll he tucked into was clumsy enough for him to wind up with a broken arm.
Cold night air bit at his unclothed torso and legs. His radius had knit itself together by the time he hopped the fence at the edge of his property. His eyes were good enough to spot the infernal woman getting a lead by flying. Soren muttered under his breath a mantra, "Don't change, don't change, don't change, don't change."
This was one of those times where being in such good shape really helped him. Jenna's lead wasn't increasing so much, but he lost sight of her a couple of times when he had to cut through alleys and make sharp turns. His bare feet slapped against the cobblestones that slowly turned to dirt closer to the edge of town.
Once he was safely away from most prying eyes, he gave in to the rage that had been threatening to consume him from the moment he realized what she'd taken. The Shift was always a painful one. His shout of her name turned into a roar as, from one stride to the next, he was practically exploding into dragon form. He grew, his wings, tail, horns, and scales all sort of erupted instantaneously from his skin. A lesser man might have been halted by the agony, but Soren just used it to fuel his anger.
Next leap had him airborne.

As Jenna heard the roar, the sylph knew she had to pick up her pace. With her wings pushing her forward with all the power she could muster, Jenna could barely see the overwhelming image of a dragon behind her. It was when she was flying over the ocean that the piece of jewelry she was holding slipped out of her fingers and dropped into the large body of water. Jenna gasped at that, sending back a fierce current of air to throw Soren off her path.
It was during this fierce flight that a flash back occurred to her, something that she hadn't thought of in awhile despite it being the real reason for her anger towards the were-dragon.
"Are you speaking the truth, sister?" Emma stood alone in a deserted field - looking as if she were talking to herself. "Yesssssssssss..." A voice on the wind drifted around her. "Ariel has decreed you a mate with a creature of the air..." the voice seemed to drift on and on. "Do this and your child will become a zephyr... your natural form will be restored... peace will be in the skies once more..." Emma felt her sister drift away with the wind - feeling a sudden overwhelming weight on her chest.
Who picked her for this, out of all the sylphs? She knew it was a force stronger than Ariel - but which force though she had no clue of. Emma could only assume that the guardian Zephyr's must know the value of a human life to the protect the four corners, wasn't their a better choice then herself though? She had been cast down! That fact was the only thing making her think that this was coming from something much higher than the sylph king.
She knew how much of an honor it was to be chosen to bear a Zephyr, and the thought alone had her rethinking her satisfaction of being on the earth for the rest of her life. Her natural form was essentially what she always longed for since it defined her whole existence, but it seemed like she had no way of being able to live in the sky but then going back to the earth as she pleased.
After all, it only took her a few years after being cast down to figure out what Ariel was doing in trying to teach her a lesson. He was making her be all alone... deserted by all of her sisters.
Remembering that incident, caused a hard rush of raw emotion through Jenna which caused her to turn briefly in the air to use her wings to send a another power rush of air back at Soren. Let the were-dragon be pissed she decided, his meddling cost her something more than he would ever know... something more than she would ever know...

He wasn't nearly close enough to her to see what she had done with the torc, but he was operating on the assumption that she hadn't hidden it. What was left of his humanity was doing this, in any case. The dragon was in full control and it countered her current of air (which had slowed him down slightly, but had not been enough to stop him at all) with a fierce blast of fire somewhere off to her right.
He wasn't going to risk destroying his treasure by actually aiming flames at her. He could make things uncomfortable for the time being. He could burn her later.
The cold darkness of his heart at the moment set his fiery rage into sharp relief. He was gaining again, but she sent back another rush of air. This time, she'd caught him at an awkward place in his undulating flight and he tumbled downwards briefly before catching himself. He'd have to take caution of that in the future.
He shot another flame at her, this time above her. He kept up the pursuit, shooting flames in seemingly random directions, but he was actually intending to herd her to a place where he could take them both down.

Jenna didn't know exactly what Soren was doing by blowing all the fire at her, but she did know that it was probably working in his favor. Before she realized it, part of Jenna's shirt caught on fire and she stopped right above the school meadow - her shirt being on a fire for some reason concerning her way more than the dragon barreling toward her.
[ooc; You can power play it to the point of her ending up on the ground. I ran out of idea's to make it longer. ]

Soren was going at a decent clip and it took all of three seconds for him to hook the woman between three of his claws and hurtle to the ground. He tried to slow his progress some with his wings, but there was too much momentum to overcome and they landed pretty hard.
At his current size, it was a familiar sensation. He'd certainly landed harder in inter-dragon fights. He'd shifted his weight into his other three legs in order not to accidentally crush the infernal woman in his talons when he landed, but once they were down, he made sure that she would not be able to escape. Not that she would be able to even if she wriggled loose now
His reach was greater than hers and he had all the motives in the world not to let her escape. The dragon's massive head leaned close to the woman and breathed smoke in her face, the closest he could get to demanding that she give back what she had stolen.

The impact to the ground rattled the entirety of Jenna's body. Thankfully, the fire was put out on her shirt - leaving her with half a shirt. Feeling her wings flutter about like a little bird, Jenna looked up to stare at Soren - his dragon form not nearly as appealing as his human form. Luckily, she had enough moving capability to put her hands up to her face as Soren blew smoke at her. Giggling at the action, she yelled at the large beast "It's gone! I dropped it in the ocean! Now you'll finally know how you made feel." Her whole entire tone seemed to be that of some sort of sick satisfaction.
There was still a slight bit of aggravation though, but it was mostly because she had been caught. "Next time, maybe you'll rethink crossing a fairy." She then yelled at the dragon - this time attempting to wiggle out of the huge claw.

He sent a blast of fire at the ground close enough to Jenna's person that she would have definitely felt it. His anger was pretty dire, and reasoning with him was only marginally effective- he was a dragon, not a man, and his draconic thoughts were steering him into destroying the thing that had infiltrated his den and stolen a treasure from his hoard.
Soren let up an angry roar and snapped at Jenna, who was trying to wiggle away (something he noticed more with his eyes than by touch since the scales on the bottoms of his feet and his harder-than-steel talons were not particularly sensitive). His human side caught up to him at that point, and his teeth closed just inches away from Jenna's face.
In that moment, he realized that he would have to talk to her person-to-person. As a dragon, his reasoning was limited to severe black-and-white situations. Actually, it was closer to eat-or-burn in most cases. He let out a huge, draconic sigh that may have sounded a little exasperated, and let himself change back.
He knew that he'd be asleep the minute he was fully human, though, so he maneuvered so that his well-proportioned human form would wind up pinning Jenna to the ground. The minute all of his deep blue scales shrank and receded into his body, he was asleep (not to mention nude) and collapsed on Jenna.

Jenna was in truth a little frightened at Soren snapping at her, dragons were in the end not the friendliest creature of the sky. Staring death so many times in the eyes before though had caused Jenna to have a relaxed state in mind (of course, besides the wiggling). At his sigh, Jenna looked up at the dragon once more - trying to figure out what would happen next - her question quickly being answered.
As Soren transformed back into his human form, Jenna desperately tried to roll out of his way - but was caught before she had the chance to escape. Soren had ended up landing partially on her and partially on her wing - this of course made it so she could actually breath as opposed to if he had actually landed straight on top of her. Soren being on her wing though was quite a nuisance and made her feel quite sore. As soon as she realized he was sleeping though the sylph quickly started talking to herself. "Stupid dragon," she muttered to herself. "Oh look at me, I'm a big scale-y thing and I can do whatever I want," Jenna folded her arms as she pouted - or at least she attempted to, failing slightly because of the fact Soren was also ontop of one of her arms. "I steal women from their goals and haunt their dreams," at that point in time she looked up toward the sky - curious as to when said were-dragon would be waking up. "I'm so jealous, someone's actually better than me. Blah blah blah, suck it up." Jenna rolled her eyes and poked Soren in the face with her easily move-able hand.
It was during the time that the woman took a second to admire the man's body that was laying on her - her eyes drifted down and down and Jenna actually managed a real blush before turning her attention else where. "I bet you were a prostitute too at some point in time with a body like that," she then said to him and laughed at her own comment.
Her expression quickly turned dark though as her mind drifted back to why they were in this situation at the first place. "I could have my real form back, but you out of all people had to take it away from me." She said to the passed out Soren a lot more quietly now. "It is fun on this earth... I admit it. I was never a human though like you... My being... it belongs to the sky. You took that away from me though, any chance I ever had of being with my sisters. You took it away." The only reason Jenna was admitting most of this out-loud was because of the fact that the dragon was asleep. It was during her last spiel though that she was paying less attention to him and was looking more up at the sky itself - a strange sort of longing in her expression.

Soren woke to a voice talking to him with some longing. At first, he was sure she was confessing some undying love to him (why else would somebody be talking like that to him?), but it turned out that the woman was pining for home. While he was still mostly angry that she had infiltrated his house, and some contempt that she'd let anybody hinder her from a goal she clearly felt so strongly about, there was a small part of him that admitted some empathy. Or sympathy. Some small feeling of pity?
Maybe it was just indigestion.
He opened his eyes to stare at her, watching her face in silence before standing up and dusting himself off. "I fail to see how I took it away from you. You've proved your ability to fly. All I did was provide a minor inconvenience, at best. I wasn't exactly targeting you, anyways. It's Aodhan who I really wanted to sabotage." Nudity didn't bother him one bit- he was too old to feel anything more than a minor inconvenience at it. He'd have to be careful going back to town- he had no intention of being arrested for public indecency. "Stop being so melodramatic."
Soren stretched his shoulders and surveyed their surroundings. The flight had been a bit of a blur and he had to reorient himself if he was going to try to mentally backtrack where they'd been. It was possible to regain the torc if it had dropped into the ocean, but he would have to act quickly or else the object could get worn down by too much wave action. The ocean was not a kind mistress for treasures.

Jenna watched Soren rise with quite the bitter expression. "Oh, okay. Stupid dragon." Jenna muttered some more - feeling relieved at the weight lifted off of her wing and her side. As if in response her wing curled closer to her body and the curled out again as she stood up. "You've obviously proved your ability to sabotage Jonathan, oh wait..." Jenna put a finger to her chin and let her mouth drop a little bit in a manner that proved her to be quite the smart-ass.
"Me? Stop being melodramatic? You need to stop being on your high horse. I'm beginning to think it's true that Jonathan is easily better than you in every way anyhow." Jenna offered up a smirk at that comment, putting her hands on her hips and seeming to mock him in her mannerisms. "Everything is not exactly as you see it and you can't make things simple with a snap of your fingers, if that were the case you would have done what you wanted with Jonathan now wouldn't you?" It was obvious that Jenna was just blatantly taunting Soren now. She was frustrated that he didn't seem to understand her situation, it wasn't like she was going to fully explain it to him though out of all people.
After having her wings flex for a little longer, Jenna started to have them move to make it so she was floating in the air and getting ready to leave at any second. "Plus, seeing you like this... definitely makes me rethink how I thought of you before." Jenna's expression seemed to be that of judging and her tone made it seem like she was calling him inadequate. There was no way she was ever going to admit anyway his in truth drop-dead handsome appearance.

Soren could have laughed. She was trying to bait him. Unfortunately, it was succeeding. Comparing him to Aodhan had been the woman's second major mistake of the evening.
He closed the distance between them and grabbed the woman by the collar of her shirt, drawing her close to him. "The things you mention you have no inkling of, Fairy. Maybe melodrama is what you crave right now. Maybe I should have let my dragon self bite your pretty little head off."
His eyes had gone from the calm, deep blue to a fiery red-orange. "I could report you for breaking into my house and stealing an artifact with both monetary and sentimental value to myself. That would be as simple as a snap of my fingers." He rolled his head and the vertebrae in his neck popped a couple times. Scales as blue as his eyes had been slid over each other, sounding like blades rubbing against whetstones.
"Or I could go to that run-down dump of a tavern you work at and buy it. I don't think you would like me to be your boss, now would you? I don't know how you thought of me before, but you will most certainly not like me if you continue to press my buttons."
He made a sound of disgust and let go of her clothing with some violence. "I was inclined to let you off for the idiotic revenge scheme scott-free, but now you've made me angry enough to perpetuate things. I don't give a damn about your self-pity. It's like Aodhan's- your Jonathan's. Marrying him would have changed nothing for you. That stupid mortal custom is just to make people feel better for sharing beds."
He shot a glance at her then, one of his eyebrows shooting up. "...no, that couldn't possibly be the reason you're so upset with me." A cruel smile curved his mouth upwards suddenly and he asked her incredulously, "Are you angry with me for- for, what? Forestalling a romantic encounter with Aodhan?!?"

"I have no inkling of?" Jenna emphasized the letter I as she spoke and also sounded a little bit incredulous. He was coming across more like a child to her every single second that passed. As he had grabbed her by the shirt though, Jenna took to staying on the ground - seeming to have at least a little sense in that with not attempting to fly away. "Go ahead and try me you stupid dragon," Jenna bit out at his threat to buy the Tavern. It was a simple marker in her life, and she could easily let go of it like several other things she had already let go of in her life.
She had turned away from him at that point, knowing full well that marriage meant nothing during that point in time. Jonathan had been her friend, she knew if she asked him too help her he would try anything that he could. It was at his assumption of her missing out on a romantic counter that caused the hairs on the back of her neck and arms to raise up. She turned back to him though, but her expression suggested something completely different than what she was feeling. "What? Is that so bad? Plus, I heard on the grape vine dragon's have the most fiery kisses." Jenna flipped her hair as she talked, seeming as if she was owning up to something that wasn't her preference at all. There was no way she could explain the actual situation to him at this point, she knew he'd just shrug her off and it was easier just telling lies.

Soren started to laugh. It was ridiculous to him and he rubbed his ribs as the bout came to a close. "Did Aodhan even show an interest in you?" One of his eyebrows rose condescendingly. "Or was it just wishful thinking on your part?"
He jerked a thumb at himself and said, "You'd be better off trying to get into my pants. I might be a stupid dragon, but at least I'm not so damn selfish that I destroy all of my partners in the hopes that they might be the one." The scales that had sprouted on the back of his neck receded as he took control of his rampant anger.
Soren folded his arms over his chest and asked then, quite seriously, "Are you still interested in suicide? I'm inclined to help you here. IF you agree to help me find my torc. And give me your overshirt." He shrugged. "In exchange, I can tell you where Aodhan is, what he's using for a name now. Hell, I'll even set you two up on a date."

"He's always been interested in me," Jenna blatantly lied on that part too. He was interested in her like a friend would be with another friend, Jenna knew that was it though. They had cleared that much up at least a long time ago. "Plus, you'd have to beg me first before I'd consider even kissing you." Jenna rolled her eyes at Soren. She could never deny to herself his attractive appearance, but she could completely deny it to everyone else.
"Do all of that and I'd he more than happy to get your trinket back," Jenna then said to him as she started taking off her over shirt - curious as to how Soren was going to even attempt to wear it. Nonetheless she tossed it over to him, and after doing that used her wings once more to life herself into the air. "I'll be seeing you tomorrow then at the ocean - that's where I dropped it." With those words Jenna launched into the air - leaving Soren with her over shirt and to his own devices.
