Name: Soren Karlsson
Gender: Male
Age: Born in the eighth century, this gentleman is VERY OLD. However, he looks to be in his early twenties.
Power(optional): Immortality, shifting into a dragon (think of this as more of a weakness- I'll explain later), and accelerated healing.
Desired Job(optional): Small business owner (he's a mogul in the rest of the world, but his interests locally are more personal than economic). He's bought out one of the restaurants in the marketplace because he could.
Personality: Soren has a fierce sense of competition, but it's usually directed at other males. He won't turn down a challenge and he'll sustain any amount of damage in order to win. In a word, he's driven. Extremely driven. He loves sports of all kinds, particularly full-contact sports were he can use his muscular physique to its full advantage. He works out a lot and he loves to swim.
This has contributed to his success in business. Soren's not above using cutthroat techniques to get his way. His demeanor can dramatically change when he's acting the businessman. In those situations, he can become hyper-serious and his ability to move money and people is unparalleled. He has had plenty of time to hone these skills, along with others.
He can be a bit of a chauvinist, but that's hardly surprising considering where and when he was born. He'll go out of his way to protect the ladies, but he can sometimes be very callous to their feelings. That isn't to say he's never had romantic encounters with them, but those tend to be extremely impersonal (if you get my drift).
Soren's very capable of turning on the charm, but it's often just a facade. That isn't to say that he doesn't enjoy the company of people, but they have to interest him for the pleasant demeanor not to be more than just a mask. Even so, he's much more calculating than he lets on in social situations.
Soren's buttons are easily pushed and that can sometimes be very dangerous. Depending on the situation, he's more than capable of turning into a dragon at the drop of a hat. He doesn't suffer from the acute memory loss that Nikolai takes whenever he Shifts, so he's much more accepting of his other half. However, he usually deals with his problems in human form since it's much too difficult to explain dragons to mortals.
He's attached at the hip to his smartphone.

Soren has shortish sandy-blond hair with subtle highlights. It gets lighter in the summer, as his skin gets darker. He's a sun-lover, so he has the capacity to develop a deep golden tan during the summer. This fades to a lighter golden tan in the Winter since the cold doesn't bother him too much.
He has a straight nose and a chiseled jawline, usually made more defined by a thick layer of stubble. Soren usually cuts a tailored, but roguish look. He's got what some might call an "intense" stare. His bright blue eyes can sometimes seem like they cut through somebody. Like Nikolai's, his eyes will turn a fiery color (his are closer to deep red-orange) when he's incensed or feeling especially draconic.
His 6'4" physique is, in a word, muscular. He works out on an almost-daily basis. The vast majority of the time, he wears tailored suits. When he wears casual outfits, it's still obvious that he has money to spend. Everything he owns fits him extremely well. He likes the colors blue and green, but his wardrobe doesn't really reflect this preference (he has an assistant that does most of the choosing for him since his time is usually pretty limited).
He has one tattoo- a stylized Yggdrasil on his left upper torso. It curls around his shoulder and over part of his back.
His dragon form is massive (the size of a large house), and a metallic blue. He's much more sinuous than Nikolai, and his wings and legs are longer.
Weaknesses: He hasn't made any lasting friendships due to his long lifespan and his competitive nature. His power is cumbersome enough for him to avoid changing into a dragon for anything but the most appropriate circumstances. He also gets extraordinarily sleepy after he changes back into human form. Unlike Nikolai, this means that he is very vulnerable once the Shift is over. He has a difficult time controlling himself once in dragon form, so there's another reason not to change. Serious injuries can trigger a Shift, so he has to be careful (but he's not that careful in that regard).
He has to get himself re-tattooed every single time he Shifts, since that disappears. He has a template ready for this purpose.
Naturally, a form so big is usually a bit unwieldy. Maneuvering in tight spots is tricky.
Poisons don't have too much of an effect on him when he's in dragon form (However, they will mess with his healing when in human form).
Like most dragons, he can be avaricious and will try to procure anything that can be deemed "treasure".
Strengths: Soren can be a charmer when he feels like it. In fact, he can do a great many things if he felt like it. He's got excellent business acumen and he has the resources to retire if he felt like it (he doesn't).
His blood (in dragon form) and scales are extremely valuable, but dangerous to procure. His blood, freshly-spilled can cause second-degree burns.
Healing, naturally, has its own benefits, as does immortality. He never feels like he's in a rush, nor does he feel pressured by social customs other than those required for him to fit into the business world. He's got a lot of hobbies and skills, but only because he's had time to cultivate them.
History: Soren was born a viking in the eighth century. Like Nikolai, he heard of a ritual to give up half of his human side in order to become a dragon. Unlike Nikolai, he was able to complete the ritual and, thus, avoid the memory-loss his rival associates with changing into a dragon. Soren spent most of his early years traveling the world and accumulating treasures.
He's lived long enough to work a number of jobs, mostly those to do with warfare or competition. He's been a soldier, a diplomat, a pirate, a musician, and other things. After a while, he wound up doing business. Every sixty or so years, he "dies" on paper and leaves his wealth to a young "protege". This protege is just Soren, with another name and set of papers. He's gotten extremely good at settling into the mortal world.
He's attempted to track down the moves of his perceived arch-rival, Nikolai, for a very long time. This individual fell off the map for a long time, but he emerged in a Gifted school near Port Albion. Soren decided to move his operation to the island and he bought out a restaurant in town.
