Name: Emilio Rafael Cardenas
Age: 32
Power(optional): Foresight. When he concentrates, he can catch limited glimpses of the future, but it usually has to center around something specific. It's random in nature and only works about fifty percent of the time. Occasionally, when things are on the brink of something really life-changing or dramatic, he'll get intrusive visions that are enigmatic and impossible to avoid. Other than that, he's very normal.
Desired Class: Dance
Personality: Lively is the easiest way to put it. Emilio is quick to laugh, quick to anger, and quick to forgive. He might not be the most intelligent or learned person in the world, but he's intuitive and ridiculously good at all things social in nature. His personality is likeable, and he makes friends quickly. Emilio likes to see other people happy and living life to its full potential. In some respects, he's a little too protective of women, so that he sometimes seems a little chauvinistic.
Emilio interests himself in the business of other people and some have described him as "meddling". As far as he's concerned, only part of it can be counted as mischief. The rest is a good-intentioned effort to better the lives of others.
He's a consummate bachelor and ladies-man, but has the potential to be loyal (mostly loyal, at least) if he ever finds the right person. Unfortunately, Emilio finds all women to be "right".
His family sees Emilio as a devoted brother and son, who will go to extreme lengths to do good by them.
Emilio is very expressive and loves to dance.
He sends money to Cuba as often as he can spare it.
Appearance: Emilio is short in stature, but roped with lean muscle and the same lines as Caroline and their mother. He has dark (comparatively) skin with olive tones, brown eyes and hair, and a scruffy-looking goatee going. Most of the time, he has a happy-go-lucky smile on his face, but if he tries hard enough, he can get a very intelligent-looking expression of thought.
His clothing ranges from classy to casual, but it's rare that he's seen dressed as a slob. He didn't pull himself up out of the tiger-trap of poverty to be seen as a poor person.

Weaknesses, strengths?:
Emilio's weaknesses are usually hidden behind a dashing smile and open manner. He cannot speak English very well and can get frustrated when people misunderstand him or when he cannot find the right words to express himself in.
His quick temper often gets him into trouble, but he doesn't stay mad for long so fights are often explosive and resolved quickly. However, many of his fights with men (he will not hurt a woman, no matter what the situation is) are physical.
Despite his small stature, Emilio is not new to brawls and can hold his own pretty well.
Naturally, he has a weakness for women, especially pretty ones...
Some history on the character?:
Emilio was born to a Cuban mother and a Mexican father, but grew up in Cuba. When he was young, his mother left his father and Emilio to run off with an American. His father harbored hard feelings, but remarried soon afterwards to a woman he'd been having an affair with on and off for a couple of years.
Emilio and his younger brother, Jaime, grew up wild in the streets of Santiago. They pretty much went unschooled and uncared-for as their parents were almost destitute. Yet, despite all this, they managed to grow up and make something of themselves. Jaime still resides in Cuba, playing the drums for a band. Emilio managed to make it to America. He lived for several years, going from odd-job to odd-job. Then he discovered a market for Dance. He knew the basics of dance already and it took him very little time to learn the rest and insinuate himself into a school for Latin dance. There, he rose in status and pay until he could do something he had been thinking about for years.
He found his mother.
It wasn't entirely the happy reunion he'd imagined because his mother's new family was lacking a member- a daughter. They had lost her after she had gotten out of college and, despite their efforts, had not been able to locate her. Naturally, Emilio offered to help. Family was family, no matter what the circumstance, and he had been able to find his mother in a country whose language he didn't speak fluently.
Of course, he had use his limited ability in his endeavors, but nobody needed to know that.
Eventually, he found her. Ironically enough, she had been searching for a person to teach her how to dance. It was soon after that he decided to apply for a job at the school his half-sister worked at. Needless to say, he was disappointed that dance was already taken, so he went with something he figured he knew better than most. Still, he's waiting for the day he can step in and teach what he loves, rather than what he simply knows.
