Maybe I'm the one who is a schizophrenic psycho.

Over and over again and constant click echoed across the gym as Skit frantically took pictures of some guys who were playing basketball. Every now and then she would look over the camera at them curiously, her bug bottle cap glasses making her look as if she had bug eyes. Finally the constant clicking of the camerea got on someone's nerves and the game stopped. Seeming a little depressed and not knowing it was her, Skit put her camerea in her bag and was messing with some stuff when one of the basketball players came over to her looking clearly pissed.

"Hey kid," the guy said to her impatiently as Skit rooted around in her back pack for some tweezers. "Hey you!" he said louder this time. Skit finally found the tweezers and turned to him with an innocent expression on her face. "Yes?" she said expectantly.

"If you want to take pictures try doing it outside, and stop distrubing our game," he said. Skit frowned slightly and looked down at his legs which were extremely hairy. "Can Skit have one of your leg hairs?" she then asked him hopefully. The guy looked at her as if she had just asked him if she could chop one of his legs off. "Are you insane?" he said with wide eyes.

"Please?" Skit asked him innocently. She then leaned forward a little bit and put the tweezers close to his leg. The guy jumped back and while at it grabbed her bag and emptied it out on the floor. "What a freak, seriously don't come near me," and with that the rude basketball player left with the rest of the people he was playing with.

Meanwhile, when he had taken her bag Skit almost screamed her lungs out. She flung herself at the ground as everything seemed to fall onto the hardwood floor and desperately she tried to put everything back in its place as quick as she could. Some of her ziploc bags had been accidentally opened and the hairs that were in them had also fallen out. Completely tramatized, Skit looked as if she were going to cry when she gathered everything up and put it back in her bag. Finally incapable of holding it back any longer, Skit started to weep as she put all the eyebrow hairs and what not back into their assigned ziploc bags. The things in her bag were precious to her, even if they weren't to anyone else.

Stopping a moment she took off her glasses and attempted to wipe them without dropping them. Her eyes continued to leak though, and Skit over and over again tried to take deep breaths to calm herself down.

"Now I go left and make a right at the-oh, what's the use? I'd probably get lost all over again anyway."
The new teacher stepped into the gym, eyebrows furrowed at her surroundings. Well this most certainly isn't my classroom. Or the office for that matter. Deciding to try the room next door, So-Im re-opened the door, but stopped. Sobs. Someone was crying. Turning her head around, she saw that it was a girl. Her classroom...
"Oh, stuff it. I guess I'll have to go help the girl and see what's the matter,"she muttered to herself, peeved that her conscience wouldn't let her be for one moment.
She strode towards the girl, tapping her on the shoulder. "Hey there..Are you alright?"

Skit turned around quickly as she was tapped on the shoulder and seemed to recoil a bit as she saw that it was an adult. Adult's were even worse then teens at being mean. Wiping away her tears she continued to put her things in her bag. "S-s-someone poured S-Skit's s-s-stuff out Skit's bag, b-b-but it is a-alright now," she said to the teacher still attempting to get herself under control. Finally when she had put all her stuff up, Skit had somehow managed to calm down. Picking up her bag she carefully put it over both of her shoulders and then looked at the teacher curiously. Nervously she reached into her bag and pulled out a empty ziploc bag, "I... um...," she stared at the teacher sort of concerned that if she were to ask for some of the hairs on her head that the teacher would refer her to the counselor or something.

A wave of Mercy's mild temper raged over her form as she considered the injustice and cruelty of it all. Then again, maybe she was only jumping to conclusions. Who knew? Perhaps the girl had provoked the other into acting out against her. But still, staring at the tear-streaked face of the young girl, the teacher reconsidered the situation once more. Surely, if the girl had indeed provoked the person, making the poor girl cry was much too harsh of a punishment?
Mercy broke out of her reverie as she saw the girl sling her bag over her shoulder. Not having noticed the spilled contents, the teacher wondered about what could be in the bag. Probably just some make-up, textbooks, and other boring things.
Staring at the girl's empty Ziploc bag and hearig the girl's uncertain stammer, Mercy urged the girl to continue. "Hm? What is it?"

Finally Skit managed to say something, "Can Skit have one of the hair's on your head? You have pretty hair," she said this nervously with her both of her hands shaking. Adults also could be more understanding, so you never knew about these things. She scrunched her lips up to hide her two front teeth which stuck out dramatically and looked up at Mercy innocently. No matter how many times Skit had been pushed down for collecting things like that, she still continued to do it. She was making something important, and Skit didn't intend to stop for a long time.

Well. That was most certainly surprising. Her hair? Why did the girl need her hair? These gifted schools just kept getting stranger and stranger each passing day.
"Only if you tell me what you need them for,"Mercy replied. She certainly didn't want to hand over her hair if the girl was going to create a bomb with them or something. She didn't want to wake up one morning and realize that the destruction of the entire school was partly her fault. Nope. Not her.

Skit stared at Mercy in horror as she asked what for. Trying to keep her breathing under control, Skit clutched the ziploc to her chest. "I... I... um... I um... I c-can't...," she looked down at her feet then back up at Mercy. "I'm sorry! I can't tell you why, but it's very important and not harmful," she explained now loosening the grip on the bag in her hand. She looked at Mercy expectantly, hoping that the teacher would understand her thought process and not continue to question her.

Why couldn't she tell her? It might not be for a destructive reason, but other wild thoughts formed in Mercy's mind. The question itself was odd enough, but now that it was added to an extra dose of mystery, the woman was even more intrigued then ever before. Forget finding her classroom! Mercy loved mysteries. Whether or not the girl would tell her, Ms. Song was determined to get to the bottom of this.
"Hmm.. Alright, fine,"she answered, plucking a couple of her hairs and handing it over to the girl. "Is that enough?"

With her mouth opened up wide, Skit took the hairs in amazement and gratitude. Putting them gingerly into the ziploc bag, she then but the small plastic bag back into her backpack and then turned back to Mercy with a glow of admiration in her eyes. "Thank you so much," she said with her mouth hanging open. "Skit is... is very happy," she nodded her head as if she were agreeing with herself.

"Well, I'm glad that..uh, Skit is,"Mercy replied with a smile. And she really was glad that she could help. Maybe she'd learn more about the hair mystery later, from someone else perhaps. But for now, she really had to get going if she wanted her classroom shining by the time her students got there. Well, she at least had to get there before the students did.
((Quick question. I don't mean to sound bossy or impatient, by why isn't anyone looking over my latest application? Is everyone just busy and stuff?))
