Stepping into the conservatory so as to not disturb anyone that could potentially be there, Eris hugged his messenger bag close to his body - his hand laying over the middle of it as if he were protecting something very valuable inside. Wow, now you start treating us like fine china. Moving over to some plants that were nearby, Eris stayed silent at Leto criticized his every move. We could have gone to the forest today and I could have burned some tree's down, but no - you have to make Gaia happy once again.
Would you be quiet? Everyone else agreed it's my turn. She is right, isn't she Poseidon, dear? Yeah, sure.
Reaching into his messenger bag as he leaned against the table that supported most of the plants, Eris pulled out a small doll seemingly dressed in green colors. The doll in question remained limp in his hand for just a few minutes and without any provocation as Eris looked down at the doll, it suddenly came to life - taking a deep breath like any normal human would. Standing herself up slowly, Gaia stretched her arms out wide - flexing her minuscule fingers as she looked around at the world. "When did they change this place?" She asked Eris then, the young man in question shook his head and shrugged. "I'm not too sure," he replied to her then - nodding toward some plants that were behind her.
"You can use those for your training if you like." Eris said to Gaia then, seemingly not bothered by any choice that the doll would make. Offering up a smile toward the young man, Gaia nodded and then proceeded to run toward the plants in a dramatic manner. I wonder why she's being so theatrical today.
Probably because she doesn't have to Leto and can enjoy some peace of mind. I resent that! I'm sure you do.
Flipping onto one of the plants in question, Gaia dug her heels into the base of a small daisy. Kneeling down slightly the doll sunk her tiny hands into the plant and within seconds the daisy started to grow rapidly and at an alarming speed. Taking a few steps back, Eris allowed space for Gaia to work - knowing that she wouldn't purposefully try to wreck the conservatory.

Sometimes, a guy needs to find a place to sit down, light a smoke, and ponder the world around him. For one guy in particular, this was the daily routine, or at least it was, before he moved to this island with him and his sister. The place was usually in a park back in his hometown, where there was this old, worn-out bench that was right next to a small pond and a willow tree. There, usually twice a week, he'd sit down and reflect about all the recent events that happened. Other times it's because he wanted to get away from his work. Now, he couldn't just return back to that bench, no, not on this island, instead, he wanted a new place; a new spot where he could just smoke and think to his heart's content, and also because his sister was laboring him to death all week when they got to the island.
From struggling to carry all the luggage by himself, getting lost finding the academy, getting crushed by his own armor, and getting lost trying to find his classroom, it was a stressful week. Halcyon guessed that the process of living in the whole new location and trying to get settled in is usually the most troublesome part of the whole deal, and hoped that he got past the worst of it. His sister didn't help at all either, as she somehow vanishes out of nowhere when work was need to be done. He sighed as he walked outside, feeling the wind brushing against his face. Being a familiar to his sister was always going to be a drag.
He already been to a few places, and most of them were either too open with barely anything to look at, too loud with chatter and whispers all over the place, or just too plain to feel anything at all. As he approached the Conservatory, he slightly wished that this place was superb. Halcyon hoped that the plants inside would give a similar feeling like in the part, maybe, and from how big it looks on the outside, it might be just right for him to lit up a cigarette without accidentally setting the place aflame .
As he entered, he suddenly felt some kind of magical presence pulsing nearby. He saw a young man, most likely a student who had his gaze on the little green and prude doll that was partly in the dirt of one of the plants, which was steadily growing much faster than it should be. The knight thought that this student was practicing his powers, and left him alone, though keeping him in this peripheral vision. He spots a clean bench next to some flowers, which were nice to look at from afar. He walks up to it, and sweeps any leaves or debris before seating himself down, still noticing the student. He took out a lighter and a box of cigarettes, and in seconds had lit the end, breathing out the white smoke as he watched the doll developing the plant.

Eris didn't notice as the teacher stepped into the conservatory, instead paying more attention to Gaia as she continued on with the use of her power. It was a strange thing considering, but Eris felt his strength drain just a tad-bit as the daisy continued to grow. After a few minutes, the plant finally stopped and Gaia backed up a little bit to admire her handy work. "You have to turn it back now," Eris commented idly to the doll then, not actually concerned with it but knowing the impression it would make if they just left the plant as is.
The souls in his mind remained quiet for the most part as Gaia nodded toward Eris, laying her hands on the plant and starting the process for shrinking the daisy. Eris found the more that he let his dolls exercise their elemental abilities, the easier it was to deal with how they fed off his energy. Is it going to be my turn anytime soon? This is getting boring to watch!
"You'll get your turn when you stop trying to burn down everything Gaia makes." Eris mumbled, forgetting for the moment to think out his words and instead speaking them out loud. Gaia turned back momentarily toward Eris in the middle of her process of shrinking the daisy, a curious expression on her tiny doll face - "Is Leto complaining again?"
"When is she not?" Eris responded to the doll easily, his voice monotone.

Watching the daisy grow was oddly calming despite the nature of how rapidly it was growing. Halcyon blew out another breath of smoke, watching half-mindlessly at the plant developing, with subtle glances at the strange doll moving and speaking like a sentient being. Then again, it probably was, the knight has seen similar beings like the doll in his travels, though being alike are rare to come across in the countryside. But on an island like this one, it's not really surprising to see something as outlandish as this. The growing daisy was still a sight to behold, even though Halcyon had witness all sorts of magic out there in the world.
The student spoke to the doll, barely comprehending on what he said to the doll. Whatever it was, the doll understood and soon, the daisy was beginning to shrink back down again. The student almost appeared to be speaking to himself if it wasn't that doll moving all about. Halcyon continued to stay silent, observing with a more curious gaze. He flicked a small bit of the cigarette off to the side and into the soil.

After only a minute or so of adjusting, Gaia managed to get the daisy back to its normal size again. As the doll turned back toward Eris once more, her eyes caught the figure of Halcyon flicking his cigarette into the dirt - an obvious look of displeasure spreading through out her tiny figure. "Eris, you need to look at that."
The teenager turned slightly, finally noticing the teacher for the first time - not really quite sure what Gaia was expecting him to do Eris turned back to the doll with a slight shrug. "Look at what?" He asked her then, hoping that Gaia wasn't going to get him in trouble.
"He's littering!" The earthy doll exclaimed and Eris finally understood. With tiny doll hands placed on her hips, Gaia looked stubborn and ready to chew the boy out at any moment. Without giving her much of a chance, Eris walked toward Halcyon - nodding to him as he started to bend over to reach for the teacher's cigarette butt. "Sorry, I'm not going to hear the end of it if I don't throw this away." Eris wasn't really in the mood to get in trouble with any teacher today, the young man hoping that the teacher in question wouldn't take any offense to him throwing away his cigarette butt for him.

A gentle breath escaped from Esha’s poised lips in the form of a sigh as she patiently wandered through the depths of the greenhouse. What was she looking for? She could ask herself that very question. She had overheard some students within her dorm making some plans to pull off a prank against some other poor sap that involved a convoluted trap within the conservatory. She made quick work of them and turned them over to the campus police due to this prank involving an artifact that one of the pranksters crafted which would make all the plant life in the vicinity come alive and attack the victim. Of course, the defendant made it sound a lot less harmful than that, he stated that he could control it and in his words ‘was only going to have the vines give the guy a wedgie’, but it was obvious that the guy had no clue about what he was doing and potentially made an incredibly dangerous trap.
It might seem foolish for Esha to be the one to intervene, but she was not alone. Out from underneath a table close to the teenager slithered a stream of sand, cocking like a snake preparing to strike. “Anything?” Tem questioned.
“Nothing yet… Uh, maybe it’s hidden within the plants?” Esha answered as she ceased her steps and scratched the back of her head, digging into her headdress a bit.
“Figures. The interrogation processes here are pitiful. How does anyone beat information out of the students here when we’re not allowed to hit them?” the golem replied as she continued on, slithering her way around the legs of the tables full of plant life.
“We should’ve had those uh, kids find it instead…” she reasoned logically as she followed the stream of sand in suit.
“Before or after I throw them out to sea?” the sentient sand concluded as she shot herself upon the surface of the table, her strands of sand quickly placing themselves into the pots and analyzing the soil for anything out of the ordinary.
Esha was a bit uncomfortable being around the rather harshly robotic being. She herself wished to see them be punished for their actions, but Tem was a whole new extreme. Though every ten minutes she spent looking for this thing she had no reference for, her opinions on the group were degrading more and more. Not one of them were willing to cooperate, even when expulsion was thrown their way. They must’ve had one bad grudge on whoever they set this stunt up for.
The fish out of water cringed a bit, but returned to her search by digging through some more of the plants. She didn’t get far before she could sense something going awry behind her. She spun her head around to observe the odd presence and her eyes laid upon some sort of growing plant life. Mistaking it for the trap going off, Esha began to sprint toward the source, her blue coloured sari making her strides quite awkward, but she pushed on regardless.
“Finally” the sand creature stated in an unburdened manner as she also took notice of the sudden change in the environment. In that brief moment, all of the sand scattered around the area began to converge into one area, the place in which Gaia was residing.
The young woman very quickly turned the corner, her eyes falling upon the other guests within the house of green. She stopped to catch her breath, a couple feet away from the living doll that was manipulating the plant life. Was that the artifact that was to cause the disaster? It didn’t seem like it…
Such hesitations didn’t stop Tem though. As soon as a good amount of her sand was within the area, she blasted a torrent of the tiny pebbles at the doll, attempting to drown the perpetrator within the mass of her body. “That wasn’t hard” the beast bellowed as a constant flow of sand continued to pile upon the tiny figure.
