Comments on forum layout?

I'm constantly coming up with new ideas on how to change up the forum, always wondering what's the next best thing to make it look nicer, more exciting and all around visually appealing for new members! With the help of Sky being able to enact those ideas (as well some of her own!) We've been messing around with the visual look of the forum for a few days (if you haven't already noticed, haha)

My question for everyone is, what do you think of what we've been doing lately? Does it look nice? Is there something that you would rather have or not have? Let us know here! If enough people agree we will most likely change or keep whatever it is.

If you're set on keeping the seasonal banners throughout the forum, I recommend that for the current image set that you crop a different section of the main banner to use for the smaller banners, such as the darker and more evenly colored grassy area towards the bottom. The white text fades into the over-saturated banner and it can be very hard to read in certain places - Primarily in the bank section. Perhaps a different text color would help too, but my color theory isn't strong enough to offer a suggestion.

Additionally, the current Spring banners as a whole stand out pretty dramatically against the generally dark grays of the forum but that may just take some getting used to on my end.
