THE BASICS WHERE DO I PUT MY CHARACTER APPLICATION? On the main page under Mandatory Reading there is a board called "Audition" where you can post in either pending applications or finished applications! If you are still working on your application and have to go somewhere feel free to post your application in pending with (WIP) in the title. If you are done with your app and ready for it to be reviewed, please post it in finished applications.
DOES IT MATTER WHERE I MAKE A THREAD? No, it doesn't! Every place on this forum is capable of being accessed by a student unless it says otherwise in the description for the place. If you are capable of creating a situation and reasoning for why your student would be in any place you pick, then go ahead and write your first post there! This then will bring me onto the next subject that I will be confronting.
HOW DO I LET PEOPLE KNOW MY THREAD IS OPEN? In this forum we would prefer if you would put an "OPEN" tag in your title or thread description for any thread that you make in which you don't mind who chooses to join it. That way it gives people more of an idea of what threads are available for them to join. When you have a specific member you wish to role play with instead though you would put their name in the parenthesis (or whatever you pick to wrap around OPEN whether it be brackets or lines).
HOW COME NO ONE HAS JOINED MY THREAD YET? Sometimes when you join this website, you will see other threads busy and alive with activity and role playing and yet your thread will be by itself and no one will have joined it yet. That is totally fine and it happens to every body!
Since this forum is a small community, it is expected that the members on this forum have their own personal lives they have to attend to. When you find yourself in the position in which your first thread you've posted on this forum has not been responded to and it has been sitting there for a week or more, don't fret! Start chatting in the cbox and making friends with the other members. This will help people get to know you more and which in turn will allow people to feel more inspired to role play with you!
If you find even after that though that no one has joined your thread, take the initiative and look for other open thread besides your own to join! We are perfectly okay with characters being in more than one place at once and sometimes it helps when you are wanting to get started on this forum.
I'M NOT IN ANY ACTIVE PLOTS HERE, HOW COME? Plotting takes time, finding characters that work well with yours also takes time. In this as well I would like to encourage new members to talk with other members and the administrators in the cbox. From this new ideas will be able to spring up and you might be able to plot something new and exciting with someone!
DO YOU HAVE TO MAKE SEVERAL ACCOUNTS FOR SEVERAL CHARACTERS? You do not have to make several accounts! We are an OOC account website meaning that you can keep all of your characters on one account. If you so feel the desire to make several accounts though with your character names, feel free too. We do not mind here!
WHAT YEAR IS THIS FORUM SET IN? Foresta Academy is a modern based role play, which means that anything that is happening as of today can be included in the role play happening.
(Other administrators will be available to edit this at any point in time to add or delete things)

FORESTA ACADEMY ARE THE DORMS CO-ED? No, students are separated by gender (and/or preferred gender).
HOW IS THE SCHOOL FUNDED? Several wealthy gifted families that live on the island are very invested in the education of today's all powerful youth and tend to donate to the school yearly. Families from around the world that send their children to the school are asked to send in tuition fee's yearly to keep the school running. Tuition fee's vary depending upon the child's education level, the reason for the price change being so that every child has an opportunity to visit Foresta.
WHEN DOES A STUDENT GRADUATE? On their 20th birthday, Foresta students are no longer able to attend the Academy. As opposed to most schools that have graduation at eighteen, Foresta realizes that even at 18 some students may have a difficult time figuring out their living situation and so on. The way the Foresta education system is set up that if a student attended Foresta since they were fourteen they should be done with all their necessary classes by the time they are eighteen (that is if they didn't have to retake classes from failing and so on). Foresta awards students a diploma upon finishing all of their basic academic classes including specialized elective classes, etc. Foresta Academy is considered accredited in it's school system (there are other gifted academy's around the world).
WHAT HAPPENS AFTER A STUDENT GRADUATES? They are respectfully asked to leave the school with all of their belongings and if they have no where to go most staff members typically make an effort to get a place set up in the apartments for the student in question so that they still have a roof over their head for a little while. After that graduated students are expected to provide for themselves and are welcome to stay in the village or leave the island.
