Adding Color with BBCode:
Everyone wants their posts to be as unique and creative as they are. So why not increase your individuality by throwing a splash of color into your posts and cbox messages as well. Both Proboards and Cbox recognize BBCode editing for our posts and chat messages. So for example: If you wanted your text to appear as lime. You would use the two codes listed below surrounding the text you wanted changed.
[color=lime]
[/color]
This is incredibly useful to make your characters dialogue pop out from the rest of the text, even more so, than the use of bold or italics effect changes. Also, as most of us are writing as multiple characters under one account; using a different color for each character can be exceptionally useful as occasionally we have more than one of our own characters in the same post. Using color can and will help distinguish the dialogue of our individual characters within a single post.
Below, is a list of colors entered into a table to give everyone quick ideas about possible colors to use. Alternatively, if you have become accustomed to using the color selection tool from the editing options, you can use the hex value displayed there within the code listed above instead of a colorname.

Notes:
Even though the Proboards accepts BBCode, you'll find that when you switch back and forth between the preview and BBCode edit views, that the color code editing has changed into this:
[font color="lime"][/font]
Just leave it as it is as the site will always change the BBCode to the code listed above. However, this font color format isn't accepted into the Cbox. Hopefully, everyone can find this useful and give yourselves an added uniqueness to your posting.
One last thing: If you decide to use colors, it would be beneficial to include your character's name and chosen character color within your profile signature, or on your account profile page for quick referencing for others to use your color changes easily.
