Full Name: Morgan Chandler HowellGender: Male
Age: 16 years old
Power(s):
Healing: Morgan has the ability to heal small wounds - cuts, scrapes, bruises - on himself and on others, but the larger the wound the more energy it takes for him to heal it. At the moment the most complex wound that Morgan can mend would be slight lacerations on a person's body (on others, on himself he would be capable of mending nothing more serious that a fracture), the effort of which would exhaust his powers for an hour or so before he could use them again. Morgan's healing capabilities also extend to pathogens to an extent as well (standard pathogens such as rickettsia, bacteria (spores), weak viruses, fungi, and protozoa), but it takes much more energy to purge someone of a disease than it does to heal a wound, and the stronger the pathogen is the harder it is for Morgan to destroy it.
Immunity: Morgan's powers have given him a strengthened immune system, and he has never been sick a day in his life. However, Morgan can still be physically injured just as any other person would and any wound fatal to a normal person would certainly kill him as well, powers and all.
Suspected Longevity: Still unproven, but Morgan is suspected to have a little bit of a lengthened life span because of his incredible health. He hit puberty a lot later than average and is seems to be aging at a slower rate than the average human.
Appearance: Morgan is 5'3" (1.6 meters) tall, and is a skinny little boy for his age. He has wavy dark brown nearly black hair that goes just below his jawline because he often forgets when to get a haircut; he is often seen blowing his wayward bangs out of his face because of this. Morgan is half Canadian (a.k.a. white) and half Latino, with naturally tan skin and brown eyes. Morgan used to wear braces but is too lazy to wear his retainer very often and has slightly crooked front teeth as a consequence. People often mistake him for a middle schooler because of his height and overall appearance, much to his chagrin.

Personality: Morgan is a talkative kid with a love of Pokemon and cheesy romance novels. He is often found staring off into space when he should be paying attention in school and can ramble for ages if someone were to make the mistake of mentioning Pokemon, medical science, or classical music around him. Morgan often neglects doing homework in favor of pursing his other hobbies, which include scouring the Internet for news in the medical field, practicing his violin (which his parents made him start playing when he entered fifth grade), or secretly reading romance novels in his room (he is very ashamed of his addiction to overdone love stories). Morgan is a fairly bright and intuitive kid, but often procrastinates or avoids his responsibilities altogether. Morgan's ability to heal others has also given him a compassionate side and he hates to see others in pain, especially when he knows that he can easily help them. Morgan is terrible at coping with sadness or anger - he bottles his emotions inside until they get to the point where he snaps. When Morgan suffers an emotional break he tends to lash out a people and take drastic measures that he normally wouldn't consider (i.e. running away from home), and doesn't easily cool down; Morgan tends to hold grudges.
Weaknesses: Morgan considers his own height a weakness, as nobody ever takes him seriously because of it, he also has terrible grades in school because of his inability to take anything seriously that doesn't interest him. His powers have very limited uses at a time - he can only heal one person at a time (including himself) and needs to 'recharge' after each healing session, the time varying on the severity of the wound or disease. He cannot cure cancer. He cannot cure mental handicaps. He cannot help the blind see or the deaf hear - he just isn't powerful enough, and it upsets him that he can't really "do anything permanently helpful". Morgan is also deathly allergic to bee stings and has understandably developed melissophobia (apiphobia).
Strengths: Morgan is smart - but only when he needs to be. He would help anyone in pain or in need of his ability without hesitation, and knows a lot about the human body because of past experiences. Morgan is usually very friendly with people (if a little overwhelming) and gets along with authority figures fairly well. He plays the violin (as mentioned above) well enough to keep people entertained for a little while, and he knows the names of al1 600+ Pokemon.
History/Family: Morgan is the youngest child of four. He has two older sisters and one older brother, ages 22, 22, and 18. (His two sisters are twins.) Morgan's father is from Quebec and his mother is Latino (but from New York), and Morgan was born in West Covina, California. He and his family lived in California until Morgan was six - that was when his powers manifested themselves. He had fallen off of the monkey bars in the park (it was a bad idea for his parents to let him play on the monkey bars in the first place he was short back then too)and he fell and broke his arm. Morgan's mother was panicking and calling 911 but somehow Morgan knew that he could heal himself. Shortly after the incident in the park, Morgan's family moved to Chandler, Arizona, where they have remained to this day.
Morgan always tried to keep quite about his powers - he kept quite about a lot of things - and resorted to only using his powers when he needed too, lest he attract unwanted attention. His parents were not sure just what would happen if the public found out that their son was different, they had never dealt with anyone quite like their son before.
When Morgan turned fifteen, he ran away from home. He was tired of the way his parents treated him and of having to hide his powers from everyone that he got a suitcase and filled it with as much stuff as he could carry and left. He lived on the streets (he rented a motel room, actually) for about three weeks before he returned home, sobbing about how terrible it was to live alone and how he had actually missed going to school and vowing to never run away again.
In Character sample: There was nothing he could do.
Morgan stared numbly at the wound, utterly dumbfounded for the first time in his life. It swam hazily before his vision, a scarlet blur accompanied by the all-too familiar smell of rust. Of blood. Hands shaking, he slowly reached out to the wound, afraid of what his heart was telling him. You can't do it. You're useless. You can't do it.
He pressed his fingers to the wound gaping in the torso of the anonymous figure, mentally reaching deep inside himself for that familiar tug of his power. He took a deep breath. "I can do this." He pretended that he couldn't hear the pained whimpers of the person beneath his fingertips. He could nearly feel the life of the person slowly fading beneath him - I can't do this I can't I'm not strong enough I can't help I'm useless I -
Morgan woke with a start, breaths coming in uneven gasps as his mind tried to make sense of the utter lack of dying people around him.
"Oh."
It was just a dream.
