Vivid jumbled messes, that was the best way Miller could describe his dreams as of recently. His time awaken was not too great either, his bones shivered in nervousness as he almost expected to be jumped by an officer at any moment. Due to his current state he rarely left his room at all. Not even for his nightly strolls. Things were too tense as of now and the risk of being captured again was not one he was willing to take. However, this day it was not his conscious decision.
Piercing sunlight from an unfortunately placed window within the Emerald common room greeted him good morning, even though it was the afternoon. Miller slammed his palm over his eyes and jumped back a foot or two both in an incredibly fast motion. His entire body shook as he tried to get rid of any shock he had left within him by his intrusive wake up call. Once he settled down he opened a small crack in between his fingers as he tried to figure out where he was exactly. He recollected that this was not the last place he had been before he fell asleep, he was within his room last he remembered. He easily deduced that he must have been sleep walking again, but why his body moved around so much in his sleep was not something he could answer. He was more curious of where it was his body was going anyway.
Perhaps this sudden problem was caused by the library event, which he did not like to be reminded of. It would make sense as it was only a growing phenomenon after the events of that day, but for what reason other than that could it be connected by? He couldn’t figure any other reason and that was mainly due to his lack of knowledge on sleep patterns and how the human brain worked.
Miller’s teeth chattered subtly as he investigated the rest of the room for any other bodies. He saw none within his line of sight even though his sight was quite hindered. Somebody could be within the room and he probably wouldn’t notice. He was located more so in the center of the room so he didn’t have a large range of view. He began a retreat in a form of a blind backwards stumble as he knew from the position he was in that his room was basically behind him. He needed to stay out of sight, at least for now, so his room was his best bet.
