Full Name: Margaret Miller
Gender: Female
Age: 18
Power(s): Margaret has a psychic link between her and Miller. She’s able to put thoughts into his head and control his actions, but controlling him is a lot harder on her brain to do. She can only control Miller if she can see him, doesn’t matter what part of the she sees as long as she can see him. She also has the power to turn herself invisible, as long as she focuses on being invisible she will stay invisible. She can also turn other objects and people invisible as long as she’s touching them and focusing her mind on them. She is able to turn a whole building invisible, but that might be hard on her head. She is able to use both of her powers at the same time, but that would require all of her attention. Her powers were given to her by her father, it was an experiment to have someone control Project 23B since it turned out the project didn’t want to kill. Unfortunately when she got her powers she also gained cancer, due to the amount of radiation that she was exposed to during the experiment.
Appearance: Margaret is average height at 5’7 feet tall, she has no hair and her eyes are average sized, their colour is a light blue. Her skin is fairly pale, she’s very skinny due to the fact she doesn’t go out of her room often. Her face is skinny enough that you are able to see her cheek bones, her nose arch is right below her eyes. Her eyes are only two inches away from each other. Her nose is fairly long, but only protrudes out a bit from her face. Her mouth is as long as the span of her eyes, her lips are always dry and her upper lip is fairly thin compared to her bottom lip.
Margaret usually wears an open white lab coat with a pocket on the upper left side of it and often has a piece of paper in it. Under her lab coat she has a navy blue t-shirt and beige cargo pants, her clothes are a bit battered and dirty because she doesn’t often change out of them. Margaret is almost always wearing lab safety goggles whether it’s on her eyes or the top of her head. She wears black velcro shoes, she prefers not to waste her time with laces.
Personality: Margaret is a strongly bitter person as for many years she has had a strong bitter taste for just about everything. She tries to make everybody believe she isn’t afraid of anything, which isn’t far from the truth there is not a lot that scares or intimidates her, but that does not mean there aren’t things that do. She is a courageous type of person and she deals with fear very well. She does deal with sadness the same and never tries to show her depression, she sees it as showing weakness and never shows it even when she’s alone. Margaret is not the social type, though she tries to be a lot of the time. She tries to be as friendly as possible when talking to people she doesn’t know yet. She’s a very intelligent person, but due to the fact she is she has a very snobby look onto those who have a low intellect. She can be ignorant at times. Margaret is a tough one to make happy and in fact she barely knows how to make herself happy. She is observant to things she is interested in. She is greatly selfish, but is lenient toward people she likes.
Margaret has a very bad temper and just about anything will set her off on a rampage. She is terribly impatient and hates having to wait. She no longer fears death, but she is afraid of it coming, if that makes any sense. Her personal interests are mind games and puzzles, but she does enjoy to experiment and try new things, just so that she can say she did them. Most often she doesn’t know what to do with her time and hates doing absolutely nothing. She is a hard working person and hardly lets anything go unfinished. She has a mature nature and hardly ever jokes, though in a good mood she may be a bit droll. She can be an apologetic person at times and will take the blame for something if it is her doing.
Picture(optional):
Weaknesses: Margaret isn’t too strong physically, but isn’t completely awful at hand to hand combat. While invisible if something were to make her lose focus she would become visible again. She can’t control Miller if she can’t see him, it doesn’t work if she’s looking at him through a monitor or if there’s a physical object in front of her that she can see through such as glass.
Strengths: Margaret can control Project 23B from any distance away as long as she sees him. She is intelligent, nobody can easily fool her anymore. She is really fast, but not to the point that it’s a third superpower.
History/Family: Margaret’s father, Francis James Miller was the founder and the top scientist at A.M. Laboratories, he was a mutant/magic hating tyrant he ruled with an iron fist. Her mother left her father as he became a power hungry prejudice, leaving Margaret stuck in between the two. She grew up like any other child did, she was living a happy normal life. She was one of the smartest kids in her school, this was when she was living with her mom. She has her dad all summer every summer, she didn’t much care for him though, he’d usually stay at the lab all day and she barely got to see him by night.
Everything changed when Project 23B started his training, he barely came home by that time. Francis would even sometimes bring her to see 23B, she never took interest in him though. By about the time Margaret was 16 the troubles with 23B started up when he refused to kill a living target. When the shock treatments failed to work his scientists came up with another solution, they found a way to create a psychic link between the Project and another person. There was only one problem it was experimental and Francis didn’t want to risk losing his scientists, this Project was also top secret so they would have to have someone that knew 23B. Margaret was the only one her dad knew, so he got his staff to work on an invisibility formula, so that when they go on missions she could hide easily. Finally the day came Francis invited her to the lab, he injected her with drugs that would put her to sleep when she wasn’t looking and they got started on the operation.
Margaret’s father told her that she would now be living with him for as long as the Project needed her to be, she was now part of the project. Then he told her that there was a problem with the operation, there was so much radiation being used that she more than likely got cancer. She didn’t take this too well, she stole all the notes and formulas involved with the experiment and ran off. She had something in her head that was attracting her to certain place, she took this as being the safest place she could go. She stole a boat, turned it invisible and followed her instincts. Margaret has been hiding within the school for almost two years, the only class she attends to is Science. For years she’s been trying to create an antidote for her powers, she believes if she loses her powers the cancer would be gone as well. She’s been stealing chemicals from the science room, but hasn’t been caught due to the fact she stays invisible the whole time.
In Character sample: Margaret woke up on a cold metal table she wondered where she was. When looking at her arms she saw rows of needle imprints along her arms. She jumped off of the table and looked around the room, she finally realized she was in her father laboratory. Francis entered the room “ah, your awake” he said quite pleased with a huge smile on his face.
“what’s going on?” she asked
“come into my office I’ll explain everything” he continued he waved his hand in a gesture for her to come over.
She followed her father into his office which was very neat, small and full of filing cabinets. He wandered around his desk until he reached his chair and sat down leaning back in it, he pointed at the smaller chair at the other end of his desk with his hand. Margaret sat down ready to listen to what her father had to say.
He folded his hands together “well, you see it’s been really hard to get 23B to kill his targets, in fact he’s completely refusing to even attacking a live target” he explained
“what does that have to with me?” she asked
“23B was an expensive project and we couldn’t just kill him and start again, so we’ve found a way to psychically connect two brains, I couldn’t risk losing my scientists, so I went with the next best thing, you” he continued
Margaret started feeling rage flow within her “you..” she said, but could finish as she was shaking in anger.
Francis got up out of his chair and loosened his tie “yes, anyway I included invisibility with your powers, it was to protect you from getting hurt if you went on a mission with 23B, though the side effects are you might have cancer” he added “but you won’t have to be around that long 23B just needs you to kill the first couple times, then he’ll get used to it” he added he turned and looked at his bookshelf behind him “anyways I’ll get onto how you use your invisibility, all you need to do is imagine that your invisible and then there you go” he instructed
He turns back around and doesn’t see her anywhere “we did you go?” he asked. She appears right in front of him, her hands were clenched very tight “you bastard!” she shouted and punched him straight in face, he fell back slamming into a filing cabinet. Her rage over took her as she stepped closer to her father “you turned me into one of your experiments!” she shouted “better yet I’m going to die because of you and your f***ing project!”
Francis held his bleeding nose as he tries to respond, but she kept punching his chest before he could. She looked around the room then shouted at her father “where are the notes for this experiment, I’m going to fix your mistakes myself!”
“in my desk top drawer” he said weakly
“if you’re lying to me I swear I’ll kill you!” she yelled
She opened the drawer and shuffled around until she felt paper. She picked up the pile of papers and turned invisible along with the papers, with that she ran out of his office.
