It had been many weeks since Miller had left his dorm room and a long couple of weeks it had been. The reason he locked himself up in his room was because he was afraid of being caught by his creator (or an agent of his) because he got word of their appearance at the school. He has become a little less paranoid of this as of now. The time he spent hiding actually did some good for him because for the longest while he had a cloud of confusion overcastting on his mind and he now had figured things out. His confusion was basically based on the freedom he was given, he has had a hard time figuring out what he wanted now that he was free. For now he had settled on working on his academic career since his sanctuary was a school and lack of knowledge had proven to work against him.
It was a Sunday, the last day of the weekend before school resumed and he was anxious to get back into class after his long leave of absence. For now he was wandering the hallways to waste time in the day for he had nothing to do today. Maybe he could find someone to talk to, but it has been a long while since he’s seen a familiar face that was not his own. During the time he was encaged within his room he hadn’t spoken much, not even to himself due to the fact the second voice in his head had grown a different set of morals that he didn’t enjoy.
It was a beautiful sunny day outside the sun was at its brightest oddly enough and the windows would pour in sunshine, this meant today was not his preferable type of day unfortunately. Every time he passed by a window he had to rather close his eyes or block them.
He walked down the hall with strides that made him seem like he was in a rush, which he was because the current hallway he was in had many windows. Miller had his right eye almost completely shut because of the brightness illuminating from the window. He couldn’t take the light anymore so he measured the length of the hall from where he was standing to where the hallway’s line of windows ended. He ran to his designated spot and slowly turned the next corner.

Oki frowned, she never frowned. She was utterly lost and she wouldn't deny it. It wasn't like her to get lost, but this place was huge and her mom wasn't there to help her around. Her arm ached, her stuff rested on her left arm, while the map of the grounds was crumpled in her hand... from her angry times. She pulled her last bag towards her dorm room, well as she wondered hopelessly trying to find her dorm room. Walking down the long hallway she noticed a corner that seemed familiar. Striding towards it she neared the other side before being blinded by the bright sunlight from the large window. Frowning more she thought, someone could get hurt with sunlight that bright. Turning the corner, eyes squinted she proved her thoughts right. Running right into another student, her map flew up high into the sky, her bag fell contents falling out, and her books fell upside down on the cool tiled floor. Ugh!

Well Miller was quite sure this might happen, as he was recklessly running down the hallway he had bumped into someone. He towered over her very easily and was not pushed back by the collision of the two whatsoever. He pulled back his large metal arm blade away so that he would not harm the woman accidently. The light from the windows was still in a range that could penetrate his enlarged pupils, it was uncomfortable and it hurt a bit, but he just knocked over another person he couldn’t just leave her. He looked at the items she had dropped, he wished he could have helped her pick the things up, but he only had one hand.
“I’m sorry, I shouldn’t have ran, let me help you” he spoke nervously as he tried to redeem himself for what he had done. He would expect fear from the woman since he was a giant compared to her, but the sword arm, the pale skin, and the large blacks eyes he had would not help ease the stranger’s possible perception of him. He snatched at the paper in the air and once in hand he offered it back to the girl. “Again I apologize, I don’t like the sunlight too much…” He did not recognize the person he bumped into, he’s been around the school plenty of times and never noticed anyone that matched her image.

OOC: I hope you guys don't mind if I join in. Haven't written anything for a while.
Zeke lay in the hallway with not a care in the world for class. In fact, he hadn't even been in a classroom for the longest time. He had no interest in such things, no, not after everything that had happened to him with Lucy. Lucy... Not a day went by that he didn't think of her nervous stutter and how that was trait that definitely stood out to him. Unfortunately, all good things come to an end and at this moment in time it came from the fact that a student, much like he, had carelessly run into someone. Zeke didn't care much as long as he himself wasn't stepped on but he figured he should at least make sure they're both okay.
His head tilted back, fire red eyes seeming to glare at the two of them as they proceeded with apologies and the works. "Are you two okay? Try to be a little more aware of your surroundings."His eyes now taking in the two, Zeke realizes that he doesn't recognize the girl but that comes as no surprise; after all, he hardly knew very many students that were even enrolled in the school. The other he quickly recognizes as Miller from both his brief stay in the Mastering Your Power class and also the short rescue from before.
"How has the school been treating you two? I hope you haven't had a run in with the vice-principal, she's pretty scary I tell you." People might consider it rude to be speaking to people without looking at them but Zeke did not normally fit in with what people would consider normal.

Sighing she plopped down on the ground and shoved her stuff back into her over sized bag. Looking up she smiled at him and took the map. Looking for any lone pieces of clothing she did a 360 turn and found a single t-shirt trying to escape. Snatching it up, she turned to her back and shoved it inside, closing it as she went. Slowly she stood up and looked at the guy who she had run into, or did he run into her?
Looking up, and up and up and finally seeing the guys face she turned her head slightly. She grinned, another person just as pale as her. Well he was a tiny bit more pale, but still. Glancing at his eyes she lost herself. The only thing she had going through her head was "Holy cows." Stretching her arm out she smiled up at him. "I'm Oki, and of course you probably guessed it, I'm new."
Pulling away she looked at the guy laying on the floor, had he been there when she walked by? Mentally shrugging and turning to pick up her crap, she saw his arm, well a metal shiny pointy long arm. Looking back at his face she connected. Crap. She heard the whisper, then the voice got louder and louder.
Quickly putting her stuff down she took deep breaths and tried to calm down, but the voice was still there.

Miller was still bothered by the glaring sunlight from the corner of his eye, he didn’t want to stay where he was that was for sure. With the light piercing his right eye he had to close it a bit, nearly halfway. Apparently there had been a man lying on the floor near them, odd that Miller didn’t see him, but then again he didn’t see Oki either. It was Zeke, the man who had saved his life once before, but Miller did not know him for much else other than that.
He listened to the man on the floor and was almost ignoring the person he bumped into a moment ago. “Yes, I will try to be more aware next time, I’m fine, but I’m not entirely sure about the person I hit” he replied to the other boy with a tone of slight disappointment in himself. He looked back at the woman he had hit and she had introduced herself to him, he supposed he had to do the same. “I’m Miller” he spoke with slight hesitation. She said she was new to the school which was not what Miller considered; he just thought she was someone who hadn’t left her room often.
Miller noticed Oki’s trembling after she spoke, he wasn’t entirely sure what she was doing, but he noticed her eyes had went into the direction of his left arm. Soon after he noticed it, he began to hide his blade behind his back, though it is not as well hidden as Miller thought it was since it was bigger in comparison to his back. “I do not wish to harm you” he said in attempt to try and comfort her.

Taking deep breaths she exhaled slowly, his thoughts gone for now. She sighed and shook her head. "I'm not afraid of you, I might just be I little shaky from hearing your thoughts and running into you." Looking at his face she smiled. "Don't worry about me, I'm fine. See?" She smiled and did a little spin while hopping from her left foot to her right. Stopping to face him she saw the concern and thought deeply about thought-pushing him to stop worrying about her, no one ever cared that much about her well being.
Turning she looked at the guy on the floor. "Sorry if the commotion ruined your... lay on the floor time." Shrugging at the guy she grabbed her stuff, tucking her map under her right arm. "Umm Miller, would you mind showing me where my room would be...?

Miller brought his right hand to the side of his face to block the sunlight from his eyes. The sun really began to bother his eyes, more than usual, then again he doesn’t usually stand in direct sunlight for as long as he was currently. “My thoughts?” he questioned while he attempted to figure out what it could have been that spooked her so much about his thoughts. Perhaps it was the other that was within his mind, but he hadn’t heard anything out of him for a long while. Maybe he was sub-consciously blocking him. Anyway the fact she was able to read his thoughts meant that must have been an ability of hers.
“I ask you to not go through my head, you might not like what you see or hear. It is a matter of personal safety” he replied gently. He released his sword from behind him since it was not the source of Oki’s fear, it was getting hard to keep up anyway. The girl asked if Miller could guide her to her room which confused him because he had no idea where this person’s room would be. “I’d be glad to, though you’d probably know more of its location than I would.”

She looked up at him and shook her head slowly. "No, no. I would never try to look into someones head, it just happens and I get shocked a bit." Laughing softly she added. "Plus I can't hear you talking when I'm hearing your thoughts at the same time."
Frowning slightly as he continued to squint at the bright sun. Putting down her stuff she took a couple of steps, putting herself in front of the window. Her being just tall enough to block the sunlight from his eyes. "Better?" She smiled as he stopped squinting, plus his sword arm had been shining in her eyes, so this was better for the both of them.
Quickly she handed him her map, pointing to the little circle around where her room would be. "You know where that is... right? I mean if you don't have anything else to do, if your busy then I'll just leave you alone."

Miller turned toward Oki who was now blocking the sunlight. It did relieve his eyes greatly and he again opened his eyes. Sure her body wouldn’t be enough to completely void the room of light, but it did allow him to see better without hurting his eyes. “Yes, much better thank you” he said. The light still bothered him a bit, but it did not sting his eyes anymore.
Miller took a look at the map, she had a circle around her destination. He could identify every single location on the map, he had been around the school many times. “Yes I do know how to get there, but I’ve never been to that area before” he replied “it is no bother to me, I have nothing more to do this day, I would be glad to help.”
He looked back at the map and instantly found the hallway they were in and began to plan a way that they could reach the girl’s destination. He analyzed quickly then turned to the section of the hallway that he originated from. “It is quite a way in that direction, I could guide you there if that is alright” he spoke as he pointed at the end of the hallway he was facing.
