Miller couldn’t write Rosemary back due to the fact he doesn’t know how to write or spell, he didn’t like that he was restricted to in person communication. He wasn’t exactly sure where ‘the moon touches the water at it's highest peak’ was, his best guess was the lake. He would have asked in a reply letter, but again he can’t write. It has only occurred to him now that he should probably start on learning to do so.
He finally came up to the lake, it wasn’t hard to find as he’s passed before, but never been this close to it before. He didn’t see Rose there, he wasn’t too sure whether he got the right place or the right time, but he stood there waiting regardless. He looked up at the night sky for a while again waiting for Rosemary to show up, if she ever does.
Miller was still wearing the same outfit he wore the first day he came here, but since then it has collected much filth. His shirt alone had two blood stains, one on his right sleeve from the incident at the warehouse and one on his stomach (which is not as visible) from his hand wound. He never had a reason to change them, then again he doesn’t exactly have any other clothes.

Rosemary walked out from behind the stables silently, allowing her silver glow to show her path as she softly made her way towards the lake, hoping Miller would understand what she meant by her cryptic message.
The white night gown she was wearing was slightly heavier than what she would want to wear but it was getting colder. Even then it showed her dancer's figure perfectly and barely rustled in the grass or the leaves that had started to fall.
Before long she spotted Miller right she said to meet and she allowed a soft sigh to escape her lips once she checked no one was around. "Thank goodness you came!" She stated as she walked into the moonlight, dropping her glow slightly so that Miller could see her without getting blinded.
It was then she noticed his clothes and the new blood. "What in the name of Moon dust happened to you?" She slightly exclaimed, concern in her voice far more than she intended but it was there.

Miller’s head turned to the sound of someone approaching, it was Rosemary which was good because he worried that he came to the wrong place. He turned his head back immediately after because her glow, but thankfully for him she toned it down a bit.
At this moment in time he had no idea why she wanted to talk to him, but the way she greeted him stated that it was some kind of urgency. It was something that made him curious and want to know what this was about even more. Then she noticed his right arm “oh, yes that” he said while looking over to his sleeve “well, there was an incident over at the docks, I don’t remember exactly what hit me, I’ll just leave it at that” he continued with the blank expression on his face that he's always had.
His attention immediately went back to Rose “by the way, do you know where I could learn to write?” he asked as he was eager to ask that ever since he got the letter. That wasn’t the only thing he was curious about, but it was something he needed to ask before he forgot.

Rosemary toned her glow down further till it was just enough for her and Miller to see each other, after his explanation she lightly touched his arm slightly caressing it as she looked it over. "You really should see the nurse about this.... You could be at risk of an infection...." She stated passionately.
Then came his question about writing, "Well..... Ummm..... Well uhhhh... I.... I could teach you... If you want...." She answered before she got herself to talk about why she asked him to meet her.
"There's this new person at school whose looking for you.. Or is at least interested in you.... Her name is Margaret Miller, she turns invisible and has a knack for Science... I haven't said much about you.... just enough to get her off my back but you need to be careful.... I don't know if she's related to you or anything but I felt that I should warn you..." She stated more or less in one breath, she wanted to protect him and help as much as she could, she didn't know why though.... It was just an instinct.... A feeling.

Miller looked back at his arm as Rose touched it and thought of what she said, but he didn’t want to go through the same thing that happened with his hand. “I’m sure it’ll be fine on its own” he responded looking back at her.
He would have excepted her offer to teach him to write if she didn’t bring up the other thing so quickly. He listened to her warning while he tried to think of who Margaret Miller was. He knew a Miller, not his first name though it was one of the scientists who worked on him. “Well, I don’t believe she could be related to me” he replied, but then he put the pieces together. “They’ve found me” he said with a look of panic on his face.
He was unsure what he was going to do now that he knows someone is after him. “How am I going to hide from someone I won’t be able to see? How did they find my location so fast?” he asked as he started panicking even more. He was shaking uncontrollably being so nervous about the situation.

Rosemary watched as he began to panic, "Go and see the Headmistress! She may be able to help! She has the ability to stop powers so she may be able to help by offering protection of some kind and by questioning Margaret.. Maybe even getting as far as putting a stop to whatever it is she's doing in her dorm...!" Rose exclaimed, but she didn't know what to say at this point.
When she noticed Miller begin to shake she rubbed his shoulders and back reassuringly, "Shhhh.... Calm down...... Everything will be fine...." She assured as she gingerly hugged him. She had a feeling that Miller wouldn't understand what she was doing but it was the best she could do right now for him as she had nothing else to suggest.

Miller’s panic attack would not be solved so quickly. He made sense of what Rosemary had said, but his brain had already picked apart her plan and found a few minor flaws. Though in a state of panic they seemed much larger than they were. “What if she finds me before I even get to the Headmistress? I have no idea what this person is capable of” He said as the words rushed out of his mouth.
Rose rubbing his shoulders soothed him, but did not calm him down completely. “How can I calm down, I’m...” he stopped as she hugged him, he had that odd feeling again. “...I’m being hunted down” he continued with a much more calm voice, but the look of panic hasn’t gone just yet. He looked down at her with a raised brow “what exactly are you doing?” he asked.
He was unsure of what to do in this current situation, other than to keep his blade arm away from her body. He was always cautious of his left arm, but in his current state he was even more so.

Rosemary looked at Miller straight in the eyes,"Because she doesn't know what you look like.... And I've given a scapegoat..... False Trail... And the best way to go to the Headmistress in time is to do so tomorrow! Or some when soon...." She exclaimed.
Rose froze for a moment, why did she hug him? "Uhhh...... It's something that a person does when someone else is worried, and they are quite close to each other... Relationship wise....So I'm hugging you..." She said off the top of her head. "And I don't think you're being hunted down.... Just being investigated by someone whose being too curious to almost killing the cat...." She kept herself in an embrace whilst rubbing his back, trying to ease the tension by rubbing circles to relax his muscles.

Miller listened, but still he insisted on finding flaws to her plans “but what if she’s gone tomorrow? Even if she is there what could she do to stop this person?” he continued to ask. He didn’t exactly understand the reasoning she gave for the hug, but he didn’t much care as that wasn’t too important at this moment. “yes, but if it’s something that important then it can’t be good” he replied “and her name is the same as one of the scientists that worked on me”.
The constant rubbing Rose did on his back seemed odd to him, even though it made him feel a bit less stressed. Then he realised something “wait, if she doesn’t know what I look like how does she know I’m even here?” He gazed back down at her expecting an answer.

Rosemary somehow chuckled, "And what if the world ends tomorrow or I die tomorrow?! Nothing is certain in life which is why we take every chance there is!" She shook her ehad slightly, he was getting a bit too paranoid she thought, until he mentioned the fact that her name was similar to someone who experimented on him. "Margaret did mention that she knew someone who was quite corrupted.... I'm guessing that the two may be interlinked...."
She then looked down as it all hit her, "Oh... Miller I was so stupid... When I first met her in the dorm, I offhandedly mentioned your name... I tried to cover myself up but by then it was too late!" She placed her head in her hands in shame as she stepped back, "I was a complete idiot... I'm so sorry!" She slowly wept, she felt like a fool now, having given Margaret some of the information she wanted before knowing her.

Miller realised his paranoia when Rosemary pointed it out for him, he tried to calm down a bit more “your right I guess...” he replied. The fact that she confirmed his hypothesis didn’t help him much, that meant that the possibility that she was after him was even higher now. He did not comment on this because he still waited on her answer to his question.
Miller didn’t know how to react to Rosemary’s answer, he made a fairly straight face and stared at the ground while he thought. ‘We should have never told her, you’ve ruined our freedom by doing so’ ‘if the Margaret person was here to begin with she would have found me eventually anyways’ his thoughts battled ‘yes, but we would have gotten more training done by then’.
He ignored his last thought and looked back at Rose and stated very calmly after he breathed out his nose loudly “there was no way for you to know that it wasn’t safe to mention my name”. “It wouldn’t be fair to blame you completely on what happened” he continued as he walked closer to her.

Rosemary turned from him in shame of herself, "But still.... Something should have clicked in my mind... I promised that I would help you.... And I'm a woman who keeps her promises..." She sighed heavily as the wind billowed softly from the forest nearby, leaves rustling tp her feet and it reminded her of a song as the words and melody started to wisper out through her lips.
Midnight Not a sound from the pavement Has the moon lost her memory? She is smiling alone In the lamplight The withered leaves collect at my feet And the wind begins to moan
Memory All alone in the moonlight I can smile at the old days I was beautiful then I remember the time I knew what happiness was Let the memory live again
The song rang through her lips quietly yet as strong as heartful as if she was singing loudly on stage, echoing about the stillness of the water and yet creating soft ripples as she looked up at the moon as she sang, her heart as heavy as the water as tears began to form

Miller wasn’t sure of what to do at this point, Rosemary wasn’t facing him anymore and she started to sing quietly though he could still hear it very clearly. It was an odd situation for him, but it made him forget about his current problem temporarily, keeping his mind off that subject was probably for the better. He wasn’t sure what she was singing due to the fact his knowledge on music was close to none nor did he know why she was singing.
Miller stood there silently until he came up with something to reply to Rose “you shouldn’t be concerning yourself with my own problems” he spoke to her back. “I can take care of things myself” he continued as he went to place his hand on her shoulder parallel to him. ‘What is the plan exactly?’ he thought ‘hiding in our room all day, we can walk around all we want at night’.

Rosemary stopped her singing as Miller spoke once more and what he said made her sigh silently, "I know I don't have to...... But I want to help...." She turned slightly to him, the tears that hadn't fallen yet staying within it's compounds as those who had created silvery streams down on her cheeks, some trailing to wet her lips. "I try to help people because it is who I am... And have made myself to be...."
As his hand touched her shoulder, that was when she truly looked at him and into his eyes. "I know you can...... But even the strongest man on Earth needs help sometimes...." She stated simply, she was going to use something more complicated but she knew he wouldn't understand it so she decided to keep it basic for now as she turned back again to look at the moon.
"At least here..... I can help people who truly need it....." She whispered softly as she wrapped her arms around herself to keep herself warm.

Miller expected that kind of response from Rosemary, so he already had a concept planned for a reply to her. When he saw her face though he felt that altering his words was needed to not upset her anymore than it seemed she was. “Yes I understand that, but by helping me you’re endangering yourself as well” he said looking straight at the back of her “I cannot bare to give such a burden upon another person”.
He kept his hand on her shoulder as he spoke oddly enough, he wasn’t exactly sure why he did that other than it seemed to comfort Rose. He stared immensely at her with his pure black eyes gleaming in the moonlight waiting for her to speak. He didn’t hear anything but a faint whisper from her which he didn’t exactly hear well enough to make out what she said.
