Daniel was stuck, not in the literal sense - but the mental sense. He had spent all day creating a robotic crab-like machine... for what purpose he had no idea, but he supposed just for the sake of creation. As he had come upon the beach though, he spotted a few crabs in comparison to what he had created. He noted that he he done something off with his creation... something was not the same as the crabs he saw skittering about the sand and the water (which of course he remained a good distance away from).
As he knelt down to let his creation run free, Daniel hadn't realized what he done until his crab was a few feet away from the water with the real one's. "No crab! Don't do it!" he yelled out pathetically, and as he ran to the crab to try and catch it - the young man instead ended up diving into the water with a "humph!" and his robot crab escaped his hands and was swept into the ocean... sparks flying every which way as it disappeared from his sight. "Damnit..."

Margaret never liked to leave her room unattended, but today she felt she had to. She thought it would be a good idea to stock up on some water in case of an accident like a couple of days ago in the sapphire dorm. She decided the beach would be a good place to go since it’s far from the school and as far as she knows no one goes there often, she prefers that no one knows what she’s doing.
Upon arriving at the beach she turns herself visible(she was walking there invisible) she was wearing her normal attire except for her lab coat and goggles because she brought a pump with her and the less things she had to turn invisible the better. She noticed the other man by the beach and threw the pump away.
“ah hell there’s someone here already” she whispered to herself “well then I have one of two options, I could wait for him to leave or I can make him leave”.
She watched him for a while and decided to have a chat with him “did you make that robot yourself?” she asked moving closer to Daniel “it’s impressive”.

As Daniel sat in the water for a bit, the hint of frustration mixed with pure irration reeked from his ever pore. This was even more blatantly obvious as he himself started to simmer and smoke rose from his skin.
As he stood up though, a girl spoke to him and the young man was momentarily surprised for a moment. Of course a female would talk to him after he fell into water, stepping from the shore-line as more smoke rose from his body - he rubbed his arms anxiously as he spoke "I did, it wasn't really... it ran from me." He seemed to look sideways to the sand at this remark, seeming quite upset that one of his inventions had failed.
It was strange though as he spoke he noticed something, he wasn't as nervous as he usually was with females. Was this because of Nova? His thoughts drifted to her for a moment... what she was doing... how their last interaction had went and the young boy's normally dark skin darkened even more for a moment before he turned his attention back to the female at hand. "I wanted him to be like... any other crab at the beach, but he was missing something... and then well, he ran to the ocean." Daniel looked as with a beyond irked expression at the beach, cursing the water for all his own personal reasons.

Margaret watched as the boy got out of the water and was a bit curious to why his body was smoking, but then she remembered the fact she was in a school for people with special powers and decided not to ask. Even if she didn’t remember that she could care less for an answer anyways.
She replied to him in a voice that sounded like she cared more than she actually did “true, but the fact that you were able to make it move is still impressive”. She noticed how nervous Daniel looked to be talking to another person, let alone a woman and kept it in mind. Then she asked while raising an eyebrow “where did you learn to make robots like that?”
Margaret wasn’t too interested in what else he had to say unless it involved an answer to her question, she’s not the kind of person who likes idle chit-chat. She tried to keep an interested look on her face when the other guy was talking, but it was tough for her to do. She never really tried to be nice to others, but she had her reasons to be for him.

Dnaiel looked down at his feet for a moment as he realized that her first statement was a compliment whether or not it was meant like that. Folding his hands together as the steam from his body started to become less and less noticable, Daniel glanced up at the girl curiously for a moment "I taught myself how to make them." He told her quite simply, looking once more toward the ocean - his mind tripping over all the things he had done to make the robot crab in the first place. He wondered he could potentially turn the crab into a water carrier and have one of it's claws turn into a straw...
Daniel jerked his mind back to the female standing in front of him once more, "W-W-What are you doing out here?" he stuttered out for a moment, wishing to get this interaction over with quickly. Daniel wasn't quite the most talented at being social, much less keeping a conversation going.

Margaret started to feel like this was a waste of time as it was taking a long time for Daniel to respond and when he did she didn’t get much out of him any way. Before she responded to him she thought for a bit ‘I’m not getting much out of him I could be doing much more important things right now than babbling with this person’. Then she asked hiding her impatience “so you have a love for science do you? How are you with chemistry?”
Margaret was getting tired of Daniel’s constant looking around. Even though she was barely listening to whatever he was saying she still managed to get the question. She didn’t feel like telling him the truth of what she was really doing out here just yet. So instead she lied “nothing in particular, I felt like going for a walk today”.

"So you have a love for science do you? ... "
Daniel perked slightly at the girl's question, his head tilting curiously as his attention was on the fritz. "I suppose y-you could say that," he said to her in all honesty seeming fairely modest on the whole thing "Not too horrible." He said to her, unable to pick up on some social cues like others were gifted with. He sensed her irritation with him, which made his blood boil in return - in a strange sort of manner.
At her simple response though, Daniel knew right off the bat that she was doing something else. It was a strange feel that he got, but the young man decided not to push it - instead he was quickly startled as a voice hollered from the forest "OI! YOU TWO DUCK!"
Daniel quickly took the voice's advice, and ducked - hoping that Margaret would do the same and as he did out from the forest came a flock of strange looking birds. The type that didn't seem to be vicious but being so much in number were capable of causing a little bit of harm to an unsuspecting person.
Stumbling out of the forest after the dozens of birds had left was indeed, Jared. The male's hair a strange sort of green for the day with awkward blue eyes, his large and slender form making him all in all seem like a completely random person. As he stumbled out of the forest though, the young man ate the dirt for the second as his whole body collided with the ground.
Quickly picking himself up though, with no sense of grace at all - Jared brushed himself of and adjusted the large belt on his narrow hips with ease - the glass bottles among other things rattling as he moved.
"Sorry about that! Are both of you okay?!" He hollered across the small distance.
[ooc; Wasn't sure what else to do, we can end this pretty quickly if you want.]

Margaret listened in interest, now knowing that Daniel could be capable of helping her out. “Good then, how would you like to help me on a personal project?” she asked with a bit of a smirk appearing on her face. ‘Finally I can be rid of this accursed power and quite possibly this disease’ she thought.
Before she could get an answer out of him a voice came from the forest telling them to duck. Margaret turned towards the origin of the voice thinking to herself ‘what now?’ The birds that came out of the forest just missed her, as when they came out she immediately jumped out of the way landing in the sand.
After the birds left she picked herself up and brushed the sand off. She noticed the new person and immediately connected him with being same person who warned them. Margaret would usually snap at a person for interrupting her and no doubt this guy caused the birds to do what they did, but her attention was diverted to what he was wearing. That being the belt with numerous bottles latched onto it. ‘Note to self the beach is not a solitary location’ she thought to herself.
Jared’s bottles struck Margaret’s curiosity, she had to know what they were for and what he was capable of doing. When she spoke to Jared she disguised her actual emotions much better than she had with Daniel. “I’m fine” she said very calmly “what exactly were you doing?” she had to hide her general interest in his chemical workings until it came naturally in conversation. She completely forgot about her last question to Daniel when Jared showed up.

As Daniel got his bearings and stood back up, Jared had already made his way over to the two and ridiculous sort of grin gracing the male's face. "What I was doing you might ask?" Jared replied with his own question ironically seeming amused at this - the stupidity almost obvious in his strange sense of bliss. Pulling out what looked like a beetle he held it infront of her face, "I was looking for this little fellow... mind you, I normally don't collect bugs but my senses picked him up and I just simply couldn't resist! He's better to me dead of course - but I just couldn't end his life so quickly." It was strange through his talking though, that nothing made sense of why birds had suddenly came out of where he had stumbled from.
Daniel seemed almost shocked at Jared's ability to speak so well to this woman, his own social awkwardness seeming to stick out next to Jared otherwise known as the social butterly. "Why do you need a bug?" Daniel asked, unable to resist his curious nature.
Jared seemed to smirk at this question, pulling out a bottle that was filled halfway with thick clear liquid and had a flower petal floating in the middle of it. "Well, curious stranger - I will tell you why I need him... or better yet show you." With those words he popped open the bottle and held the bug over it, squeezing it until a disgusting brown liquid leaked out of the bug - and into the bottle. Once the first drop of this liquid hit the liquid in the bottle, a pop seemed to come out of nowhere and within only seconds did the bottle change from clear to a pale blue "Behold!" Jared exclaimed with excitement. "The cure for the common cold, one sip of this and your sickness shall be nevemore!" He smiled at his odd wording, slipping a look to Daniel's confused expression and to Margaret.

Margaret listened in interest to what the new boy said, as it would seem that if she could get one of them to do her work for her the better candidate would be Jared. Seduction or bribery felt unnecessary to her since this kind of person seemed like one that would help free of charge. If this man had the ability to cure cancer that would help her out a lot, but it wouldn’t be an easy task for sure.
Her interest in Daniel quickly faded away until he spoke, but by now she could care less about him. Her attention went back to Jared quickly after and she watched as he created a potion right in front of her. By this time she had to ask “is it possible for you to create a potion for a much greater disease?” “let’s say cancer for example?”. If the answer was yes, she would be forever grateful, if not she has completely wasted her time here and she doesn’t like doing that.

Jared looked to the girl with a mellow sort of expression at her question, seeming sort of conflicted at this remark. "I probably could, if I really wanted too," he said to her "You have to understand though, I don't create things with the world around me... I create antidotes and posion's FROM the world around me. I have a limited amount of resources on this island, but if I really had the resources around me to cure cancer... I wouldn't do it." He put a lot of depth in the last part of his sentence as he looked to Margaret with a small sort of regret in his eyes. He had been taught from a young age the power in his ability to create potions to benefit or destroy people. For as much as he chose the former, Jared was also aware that if he were to create such a thing that questions would arise and eventually something would leak back to his family.
In a split second though, Jared's mood changed from sadness to ignorant bliss as usual. Putting a cork on his new creation, he stuffed it into his belt as he did with the rest of his creations. During this whole conversation, Daniel stood there quietly observing the look on Jared's face and Margaret's interest in the boy before them. He was unsure as to how to interact in this situation so instead he remained quiet.

Margaret was none too happy after she heard that Jared couldn’t make the potion, but what angers her most about what he said was the fact he wouldn’t if he could. She couldn’t control her anger from within “well why the hell not!?” she outburst while she clenched her fists. It might seem that she’s getting angry for no good reason, but the whole reason she even bothered to speak with these two was to help her out. By this time her patience ran out.
Her mind was divided on whether she should leave right now and collect the water somewhere else or stay here and let off some steam. First though she had to get Jared’s answer before she chose what to do next. She again didn’t pay much attention to Daniel as she was focused on Jared.

Jared's eye-brow quirked at Margaret's outburst. Folding his arms together he looked to Daniel then back to the girl again, "If I explained it to you, you wouldn't understand," Jared said to her simply with a curious tilt of his head. The way she had reacted to him, made him wary of the girl and if he should even consider helping her with anything at all.
Then again though, he thought back to another female that reacted badly to him and he sighed and shook his head at his judgement. People were people, and everyone had their reasons. "I couldn't possibly change the world like that," he then said to her with a simple nonchalant shrug.
As Daniel realized he was slowly getting cut away from the conversation, the young man wandered away from the two and back into the forest. Intent on heading back to the school to get back to work with his mechanical crab.

Margaret couldn’t figure this person out, there were defiantly things she could not comprehend about him. She was less angry at him and decided it would be best to leave now as she had enough of him and there was obviously no way to try and reason with him now. “Fine then, you can continue with your folly acts, instead of being useful” She said calmly.
She turned her back to him, but before she could walk away she continued “I’ve got more important things to deal with anyways”. Then she walked off, as she did she vanished, but still her feet left imprints in sand. She picked up her pump when she reached the grass and for a second it seemed as though it floated in mid air, until she turned that invisible as well.
