Night Stroll(open)

The night was young, the moon was nowhere to be seen in the dark blue sky no stars were visible just yet. Miller preferred this time of the day because it didn’t bother his light sensitive eyes. He decided to take a stroll around the school yard since he hasn’t been out here ever since he first came to the school. He enjoyed being able to walk outside instead of being stuck in a small compact room, he tried to stay out of his dorm room as much as possible.
He found his way to a green house, he looked at the house of glass in curiosity and wandered forward towards it. He shot his hand at the door handle, swung the door open and entered looking all around the plant filled house. Walked through the building looking at all the plants as he walked past them “this place, it’s filled with such beauty” he addressed.
His head was much more cleared up than it was earlier today, he tried not to think about his experience in the gym as it would just make his mind mixed up again. He looked down at a plant and decided to kneel down to get a closer look at it. “you must live the good life” Miller asked the bush “you might not be able to move, but then again no one’s using you for their insane ambitions”“are you insane your talking to a plant people are going to think you’re crazy” he replied to himself.

Rosemary limped around the Greenhouses, having needing some air and Lunar energy to help with her leg as she walked about, smelling the scent of flowers helped to take her mind off things.
Especially the new Margaret of Sapphire, that made Rose's blood boil slightly at her impudence and pigheadedness.
Rosemary sighed as she allowed the breeze to flow through her hair and billow her skirt slightly. She opted for her usual red v-neck and a black pleated skirt but remained shoe-less.

Alex had not expected such a great chance so soon. He had given a moderate amount of thought to this whole "training" business. He felt that the way he was going to go about it was the best way to get Miller to stop being so goddamn defensive in his fighting.
He had just gotten back to campus from his job (he worked on motorcycles at a local machine shop) when he spotted the kid going into the greenhouse. Dressed as he was in all black (black hoodie, black jeans, black sneakers,) he was able to blend into the darkness pretty well. As he crept towards the greenhouse, he gathered water to him, mostly from the ground.
When he arrived, he had enough to fill a cooler. He let himself into the greenhouse as quietly as possible, then moved to strike before his presence could be made obvious to the people around. He froze the water into razor-sharp discs (about the size of CDs) and sent them flying at the two people he spotted. As he moved, he identified them as Miller (his intended target) and that chick from the gym (not necessarily an intended target, but he thought she could use some training as well.

Miller heard someone moving around the green house, so he got up from his kneeling position and looked around the place to find out who it might be. He saw nobody around until he saw Rosemary and asked himself "what is she doing out here?". Before he could go over to her and find out he saw ice discs flying towards him.
Miller lifted his sword arm in front of his face and hardened his skin, he braced himself for the impact of the discs. 'the weapon was made of ice' he thought 'I guess it's training time then, he's the only one I know who uses ice'. Then he remembered that Rose was in the area 'what if she were to get into the line of fire?' he thought.

Rosemary heard someone talking so turned and saw Miller. 'What is he doing here? Though judging by his face he's asking the same thing...' She thought to herself until she saw Miller turn around and harden his skin.
Then, out of the corner of her eye, she saw why as she twisted herself whilst at the same time collected Lunar energy into orbs before throwing them at the ice discs that came upon her person before erecting a slight Lunar shield for the shards, crouching slightly so that there was less possibility of the ice impacting her leg.

Alex wasn't anything if not flexible. As the ice shattered against energy orbs, he caused it to go back into fluid form and fall to the ground. There, he caused it to run towards the girl and freeze into 8" spikes underfoot.
With the rest of his concentration, he caused the rest of the water to evaporate and create a cloud of steam to hide his movements. He was lucky that the area was enclosed- the glass kept the steam within, and he could tap into the greenhouse's sprinkler system if he felt he needed more water.
He picked up a nearby terracotta pot and hurled it in Miller's direction, then grabbed a pair of pruning shears and dashed into a direct attack through the fog.

Miller's skin softens again and he moves his sword out of the way, he wondered where the ice discs went, but then the house filled with fog. He couldn't see much passed about a couple meters in front of him, he knew Alex was here, but he doesn't know where. Until a plant's pot shattered against his back, he hissed in pain and turned in the the direction of the pot's orgin.
He readied himself for whatever Alex might do next and held up his blade to the level of his chest. He tried as best as he could to look through the fog and saw a dark figure heading for him, he decided to keep his defensive stance instead of going head strong against him.

Rosemary felt the water under her feet and in complete instinct, jumped up off her left leg and flipped backwards, landing on the same leg before mustering up a beam of light which she hoped would not only melt the ice but evaporate it completely.
She had to somehow be sure that no water would be around, but they were in a green house for pities sake! How would that possibly work in their favor?

"You two are pathetic," Alex growled. The ice had evaporated, all right, but it only added to the increasingly poor visibility. Meanwhile, Miller's insistence on maintaining a defensive stance (static) was only going to make things harder for him and the chick.
To punish them for half-measures, he broke the sprinkler system by calling on the water in the pipes. If they kept it up, he would have to tap into the aquifer (if it was shallow enough), or the school's plumbing. Nikolai might not approve, but he could go die on a pike.
The humidity was making his clothes stick to his body, but he really didn't mind. If it got restrictive, he'd probably shuck his hoodie. Water rained down from overhead, but he forced it to become still more steam. He could breathe steam with relative ease (since breathing underwater was no problem at all for him,) but it might get uncomfortable for the two he was currently facing in combat.
He manifested a blade made out of ice (increasing visibility slightly to do so since it pulled water out of the air), using it to block Miller's sword while he aimed the pruning shears at the side of the boy's neck.
As for the girl, he was slightly too busy to do much more than the ground-ice-spike trick again. Fighting multiple opponents was something he'd done before, as a regular person, but it usually didn't involve abilities.

Miller noticed it was getting harder for him to breathe, but he decided to ignore it and focus on the task at hand. He could see Alex better now, but now Alex is wielding an ice sword and as Miller can see possibly scissors.
Miller’s blade clashed with Alex’s sword, but he was using the less sharp back end because he swung it like someone would for a back hand slap. In the corner of his eye he noticed the other guy was trying to jab at his neck with the shears. He couldn’t move at the moment and if he were to harden his skin it would give Alex the advantage. He did the only he thought he could do, he threw his other hand in the path of the shears.
Miller’s hand got the full force of the shears and held in the pain as it wasn’t the time or the place for it. His eyes became more tense and his adrenaline kicked in, the force of his blade was much stronger now.

Rosemary flipped again but this time, allowed her body to glow as brightly as she could muster to see if the water would reflect the light and then blind Alex.
She saw Miller and Alex fight it out so directed the light from the ice spikes right towards Alex at the highest possible brightness she'd dare use of Solar energy.... If this kept up she'd be out of Solar energy until she recharged during the day and then more prone to attacks.

Alex moved with Miller's blade, rather than forcing it. It was easier, especially with that chick trying to blind him (a move that would have worked better without all of the steam in the air, which diffused the direct effect somewhat). He moved so that the light was hitting him at a right angle (easier to deal with than turning his back on the girl or trying to use Miller as a shield.) Again, he was frustrated with the two.
"You're getting warmer, girl, but it's not going to be good enough." He called on water from the pipes supplying the greenhouse with water. A metallic wrenching sound could be faintly heard. "You two fight like you're afraid of hurting me. Fight like you mean it, or I'm going to send you to the hospital."
He melted his sword and dropped down low, sweeping his legs to see if he could topple Miller. At the same time, he used the water from his sword to form about a hundred different ice flakes that zipped through the air towards the girl. They would do no more than small cuts (like paper cuts), but he was busy so that would have to do.
|| It might seem like Alex is a little over-powered at times, but he's meant to be a bully. If you attacked him, he can take damage (depends on the attack). He's just had a lot of practice- he fights people on a regular basis (and not training fights, legitimate fights where people sustain serious wounds) ||

Miller’s right hand bled quite a bit after being stabbed he felt a bit of rage, but he was trying to hold it down at the moment. He brought his injured hand towards his stomach and pressed his palm against it to put pressure on his wound.
When his opponent started to speak he took this time to back off and take a better look at his hand. He started to breathe harder and at this time it was becoming more apparent to him how hard it was to breathe in the humid air. He looked back at Alex as he heard his threat and all that was going through his head was ‘he means business we can’t afford to hold back’.
As Alex melted his ice sword Miller was ready for anything the water bender had in store for him. He watched as Alex went to the ground and saw his legs sweep towards him. Miller hardened his skin knowing that if Alex’s legs impact into his own legs it could severely injure them(it would hurt him the same as if he kicked a metal pole). He knew it was a safe time to use it because Alex would need recovery time after this one.

Rosemary growled as she saw the cut on Miller's hand before she cartwheeled away from the ice shards. 'Now... This is getting PERSONAL!' She angrily thought as she hooked her foot into a watering can before bringing it into the air and using her elbow, knocked it into the direction of Alex's head.
Then Rose directed her light so that it formed around the can, hoping it would make it harder to see, at least by aiming at his head, then there were possibilities of it hitting somewhere else as she ducked beneath the table and crawled close by to where the guys were, ready to think of a sneak attack.
She hated fighting, but when it became personal.... Then things used to get hairy around Georgetown. No one picks on Starlight's friends without a fight, despite her having a pacifist view.

Alex wound up on the ground, but it wasn't that surprising that Miller opted for the defensive again. There would be welts on his legs, but it wasn't enough to distract him (he'd been through worse). However, this did mean that he was in a bad position for regular combat. Unfortunately for his two opponents, that meant that he would be leaning heavily on his powers.
The watering can might have actually done some damage if it had hit his head. Fortunately for Alex, the girl practically telegraphed her attack by shining light around the projectile. On first impression, he thought he was merely rolling out of the way of one of her explodey-light things, but when the watering can hit the ground where his head had been, he realized the truth of it.
"Closer. Would have worked if you had not shown a fucking spotlight on it," he said derisively as he rolled backwards and to his feet. The ground was quickly becoming a mud pit because of the water Alex was calling upwards from the pipes beneath them. He didn't mind- his footing could be assisted if he merely froze the ground he stood on.
Of course, the plants, the tools, the furniture were all slowly sinking into the mire. At this point, Alex condensed all of the water out of the air- they knew where he was and he could use the water better this way.
He called over to Rosemary, who was pretty easily spotted now that the air was clear, "Do you think I'm stupid? Sneaking about like that would be good, if I were distracted or if I haven't been keeping an eye on you. But your boyfriend over here isn't putting up much of a fight. In fact, you're a much better opponent than he is." He paused, sending a wave of water (about three gallons) at her, freezing it at the last minute. "That's not saying much." He was hoping to incite Miller to fight, to actually do something.
