Ooc: no worries it's not like I'm the quickest to post.
A mischevious smirk crossed the girls face as he approached."Now this is more like it." she murmured to herself. She quickly side stepped allowing in to pass before shadows shit out like Spears at him.
As his approach would continue she would begin to take some of the hits he was throwing. She let him get close enough that she could place her palm on his chest and send a pulse of dark flame to wash over him if he didn't Dodge.

It's rare that an opponent stands unprepared for an attack, so Mason wasn't surprised when Mika fired shadow spears towards him. There were more than he expected, but no more than he could handle. I dodged a good number of them, ducking, spinning, and jumping over a large portion of them. The spears he couldn't evade, he slashed at with his staff. They were never directly though, at risk of destroying his tool, but hit from the side, either pushing the spear out of the way to miss Mason, or to break through the spear and stop it from continuing.
Easily enough, Mason made it towards Mika. He threw a number of combos, but she, for the most part, easily evaded them. She had appeared faster, or at the very least, more adept at fighting then she was previously. Then, simultaneously, the two attacked each other. Mason had brought his foot up in another roundhouse kick which connected with Mika's face, although Mika placed her hand on Mason's exposed chest, firing him with an attack of her own.
Both fighters went flying in there respective directions, Mason backwards, and Mika to her right (having been kicked on the left side of her face). Her dark crimson flames were more powerful then her flames before, and Mason laid on his back, his body tensed a his body worked to repair the burns. Her attack had, for the most part, burnt of the front of his shirt, and the skin was tender and pink now. Mason gasped for breath, slowly rising to his feet. This was not the same fighter that first entered the ring.

The girl before him had clearly done a 180 from her tame demeanor that she entered with. She bit her lip as he knocked away the shadows. Caught off guard by the kick the girl had no way to block the hit to her face. Landing hard the girl gasped for breath. Pulling herself to her feet she gave the boy an almost sad smirk. "While I curse the limits I have at the moment I know when I have reached the threshold this body can currently handle. I thank you for entertaining me. I wasn't sire I'd get to have any fun.". The girl gave one last grin before her eyes fluttered shut and she was unconscious, her body slumping to the ground.

Mason slowly stood recovering from the attack. He watched Mika do the same, before she flashed him a smile. He returned it; an appreciative and understanding warm smile. "Thanks for the fight," he added as the girl fell back to the floor. He touched his chest, which was still healing from the burn. The burn must have done more damage than her previous flames, because it was taking longer to heal. He winced and let out a small grunt of displeasure as he touched the centre of her bare chest.
He walked over to his staff and picked it up, as it fell out of his hand from being blasted back before walking down the steps towards the vomitorium that he entered in. "Come on Lup," he said to his dog, still sitting patiently for the fight to finish. The two of them walked out of the stadium for a good rest. Mason wasn't sure when his next fight would be, but for now, he just wanted a nap.
