Dirk kept his composure when he heard that his bluff was called, he knew something as simple as that, "I am aware of ultra-yellow, but I wonder what ultra-green is like. Anyway, to start off, who was the lead scientist, why did he do the experiment on my eyes, not my body? Why do you call him an idiot for not doing more tests? I can understand if he was scared of my capability." He then breathed in, he was thinking about the fact that he is giving her more information about himself. He then leaned back and picked up a bottle of beer, and popped the cap off the bottle using is bear hands, he then looked at his hands which were a raw red from his efforts. Dirk looked at this teacher and took a sip, this was designed to see if she knew some more personal information about him like his age and position as a drunk or if he was new, but, apparently, he had very low tolerance for alcohol and his cheeks were red very quickly. He started to slur his speech " aaannyyy wayyy, doo youu likee thattt winee, ifff you don't cann I havee sommee?" at this point Dirk would have probably not be able to do any complicated functions or even walk but he was very vulnerable and would answer any question.

Lotte took another quick lick of her wine, listening to the boy some more. They must have really kept him in the dark during their experiments if he didn’t even know what the lead scientist’s name was. The buggy humanoid was having difficulties putting a name to the person as well considering that it has been a while since she had last read the file and on top of that she wasn’t good with names. She could only recognize the boy for the fact that his power was beyond unusual and instantly recognizable. She still didn’t know his name though. Not that she was interested in learning it when she can just as easily peer through his file at the school and find it.
“Lead scientist…” her eyes detracted from the boy for a few seconds, within that time he was able to snatch a bottle of beer without her fully noticing. Her bottom began to click as she tried to think, remembering that it was a very generic name. Finally though she was to find it within the realms of her brain. “Ah right, Dr. Johnson. Don’t know much ‘bout him, just know he lead the team. By sounds of it, he worked with no morals. Understandable, sometimes emotions get in way, but deceit different thing entirely. Johnson idiot on more levels than refusing more tests. Reasons for what he did beyond me, not sure why pronounced you failure, not sure why scrapped project. Guess is, he’s idiot that doesn’t know what doing.”
Then the boy took a sip of beer and began to act like a class act drunk that had far too many rounds. Lotte wasn’t sure whether the boy was that low in tolerance to alcohol or if he was just faking his slur as a joke. Either way, the prospect was quite amusing. This boy has committed just about every crime on this island that would get him deported in an instant. Underage drinking, attempted assault on a teacher, and theft. While she could easily write him up, she had too much of a buzz going on and along with that she felt that he would probably be best kept here. If only so that she can study him further. Perhaps she could even produce a book about it, ‘The Effects of Testing on Youths.’ Sounded like a reachable goal, on top of that it would give her something to do in between classes.
The bug hybrid chuckled at the boy once again. “First taste of alcohol, hm? This one on me, only if promise to allow me to experiment. Nothing too invasive, perhaps some exposure to things to trigger memories, otherwise harmless” the large insectoid offered as she dug into her pockets for change to place next to the money she laid down for the wine earlier. “Perhaps one obstacle course, maybe two depending on results of first and mood. Always wanted to devise obstacle course for test subjects, though never found reason to.”

Dirk first said in a drunken daze "Firstt Timee drinkkingg, soo I-it seems iimmm prettyyy goodd with alchaholl rightt?" He then proceeded to babble about random things like his time in a smuggler's band and then his time before that, right up until he heard the offer.
Dirk heard "experiment ... obstacle course" and he thought that she was asking if he had ever been experimented on and if he ever been on an obstacle course, so he answered "sure but i have never been on an obstacle course before..." Dirk then, in his drunken stupor, he remembered that he was signing something, but then fell asleep on the table, with his beer barely touched and looking like it was freshly opened.
(dirks dream)
Dirk was standing there watching his own surgery, people around him and making incisions everywhere, his real body screaming as he felt the incisions without a painkiller. His eyes split open and his iris directly being administered to the drug that changed his life forever. And then slowly he saw the nurse with the scalpel accidentally make an incision down the side of his face.
(end of dirk’s dream)
Dirk woke up suddenly his body shaking and with a splitting headache .

The boy seemed to be very open about his life before he became a test subject, which might be because he was under the influence of alcohol, but even for a first timer it was doubtful that the effects were that bad on him considering he only had one swig. It was possible, but not too likely. Either way, Lotte mentally recorded every word the boy said, mostly due to pure interest in how he became the person he is. Although his violent tendencies and whatnot could very easily be explained away with his lab rat lifestyle, more context was always welcome in her book.
Eventually though, the alcohol seemed to be taking a strong effect on the boy. He looked to be pretending to sign something on the bar top, Lotte being more confused than she had been in a long while at the sight. Once he finished his signature on the imaginary dotted line, he fell flat onto the counter and began to doze off. Well, a giant bug lady sitting next to a stone cold drunk teenager was probably not a very flattering sight, which irked her to probably leave before she got into some real trouble, but running away in the sight of trouble was never within her quota, although there wasn’t much she could do with him if he was limp like a sloth. Perhaps her book on experiments conducted on children wasn’t going to get published after all.
She got up from her seat, still sipping at her wine like a child with a swirly straw. As she did though, she heard the sound of footsteps outside the door. It would probably be bad if anyone saw her like this, not to mention the questioning she would get about it. It wasn’t the prospect of getting in trouble that troubled her, more so it was the time she would have to waste getting scolded by her superiors for this. It would be especially bad if it was school security. She peered back at the boy, knowing that she couldn’t pick him up considering one of her arms was basically a twig and the other wasn’t all that useful either. She nudged the boy to wake up.
“Time sleep over. Get out of here now, others are coming” she stated as she rushed toward one of the nearby windows. Luckily they weren’t too difficult to open. Though, her body might not fit, especially with her wings. The boy could probably do it and frankly the escape was more so for him, she couldn’t study the boy if he wasn’t on the island.
