Tem got the answer she wasn’t exactly hoping to hear, but she supposed if it was an option the girl knew and was willing to explore that she would have said something about it. It was obvious idea once the thought was put in place. Anyway though, the idea was still there and there had to be at least one person in Foresta who could perform such a ritual. All that was left now was to ask for the parents’ permission, get the body/find out where the soul or ghost ran off to. Tem had absolutely no idea how any of the spiritual stuff went. She barely comprehended the human anatomy to begin with, what goes on in the spiritual end of things was far beyond her understandings and frankly she didn’t care to learn about it all that much.
“The island is a lot bigger than you might realize. Regardless of its size and the number of residents, students come and go often graduated or no. That means we have to take record of every single person with that specific name that could have possibly attended school with him ever since he first arrived. Rosemary is a fairly popular name, so it won’t be that easy to narrow down. It’s doable, don’t get me wrong. It’s just incredibly tedious and we don’t even know how much she’ll know.”
The officer slumped back into her chair as the girl provided nothing more to her than hope that somebody somewhere might be of more use to her than herself. The case had already been a confusing maze with mixed signals all around, the last thing she wanted to do was run around like a headless chicken with even more errands under her belt. She supposed it had to be done though, no questions asked, no complaints. “Well, you said you’d like to do something for this case rather than nothing, there’s your start. If I have to send one of my men or myself to find a necro-type gifted then I will, but considering our hands are already strung up with so much as it is I would prefer to put less work on both myself and those who work here because its absolute hell.”
Despite everything else she said, the girl really was of no use anymore. Tem supposed she should let her out by now. She wrapped her sandy digits around Lilly’s and shook once or twice. “Free to go. New information would be absolutely splendid. Don’t think you haven’t done anything either, what you put forth already was more than we had” she comforted the girl and waved slightly.
(OOC: I f you have nothing else to add, yeah I'd say we're done here)
