The tenseness of her face muscles released as the boy commented on it. Sandra was still trying to hold on with the overlapping skin at the bridge of her nose, but it made her brows look a bit furrowed. Her face lit with a red tint and quickly extinguished it. “Oh, shut up” she replied weakly.
Given that she didn’t know the boy’s power until recent she couldn’t really put two and two together at the time of the last dance. The same was for the current dance, but she questioned the prospect of her illusionist dress far less than when she first got a hold of it. She was still unsure if that was what he was hinting at with his comment, but it was more than likely the case. “What you see is what you get. I’m not going to say something that’ll make me seem fancier than I am. This wasn’t a ragged rug of a dress that was later fixed by the help of my woodland creature friends. If you wanna think that though, I’m not stopping you.”
Suddenly, she felt a strange sensation as though someone was pulling against her but not physically like someone was tugging her shadow. She wasn’t sure how exactly to describe the sensation nor could she even explain how she jumped to such a conclusion, but it probably meant that Jason wanted their attention for one reason or another. She glanced over to a nearby door and spotted him with Jupiter. “I think our ‘safety net’ wants us to give him a bit more slack. How’s about we lend him some?” she quietly questioned the boy as she nodded her head to his location. “Bonus points if you can do it without breaking our dancing rhythm.”
