Hello again Nurse.....

Miller felt a bit safer with Amy after he listened to her trying to reason with him, but he didn’t completely trust her, especially with his history of medical professionals. From what he’s learned in the past is to never trust a person who wields a needle.
He heard the medical advice, whether or not he will take it depends on the outcome of the visit. He would answer what Alex stabbed him with if he knew what it was, the fight was so foggy it could have been anything. He simply replied “I’m not sure what it was that stabbed me”.
He looked at the bowl not knowing what it was for, but didn’t feel like asking since it would be an unnecessary question. “we've... I’ve had needles before, multiple, the contents within the needles are my problem”. Then he looked at his left arm “if you have a problem with it, I would recommend strapping it down”. He lent his hand over to Amy meaning he was ready to begin.

Slipping gloves onto her hands, Amorina carried the bowl over to the two students and placed it next to her instruments. Taking the gauze, she dipped it in the water and, taking Miller’s hand, began wiping blood from the wound, readying it to be stitched up. She had made sure the water was warm; rule number one: always keep your patient happy and comfortable. “I have no problem at all with your arm, but I know how scared of needles some people are. I also know how many kids here are here to learn control. It’s unfortunate, but many nurses here have been hurt before. It’s required for me to make sure whoever I take care of is able to control themselves.”
Amy then wiped a small spot on Miller’s upper arm, and grasped the Tetanus shot. “Now, this is going to sting a little and it might feel a bit stiff after, okay?” She smiled and stuck the needle into his muscle, squeezed the serum in, and pulled it out quickly, placing the empty needle back on the table. “See, not so bad!” Taking the stitches in her fingers, she began stitching the wound up, quickly but efficiently. Within a few minutes, the wound was stitched and cleaned, wrapped tightly with gauze.
She pulled the gloves off in one motion and deposited them in the trash as she made her way to another cabinet, grabbing a brace, a plastic bag, a cloth bag, and some Advil. Smiling at Rosemary, she gave the girl the brace before placing ice in the plastic bag and putting the plastic bag in the cloth one. “You’re going to have to stay here overnight, then. I’ll warm up some soup for you in a second, but for now, put that brace on and take some Advil too. It’ll help with the pain.”
She placed a small cup beside Rosemary, full of water, and then handed a little orange pill bottle to Miller. “Take three a day, one after every large meal. Take them until they run out, or until I tell you to stop. Whichever comes first.”

Rosemary watched Amy work, but her mind was still swirling with what Miller had said before Amy came in, 'We are not human..'
Those words spun round and round in her mind and had already disheartened her enough that she almost didn't hear what Amy said, but it soon registered with the laying down of the brace, the ice pack as well as seeing the glass of water and Advil. "Thank you...." She replied, emotion gone from her voice as she carefully slipped the brace on, being far too used to it, before she laid the ice onto her knee, hissing as the weight went on but contained the shout that was stirring in her.
Once the ice was fully on, Rose stretched to the water and looked at the description of the Advil before taking the suggested dosage with a couple of mouthfuls of water. She hated taking pills.

Miller watched as the nurse stitched him up, he didn’t care much for the pain though. He then noticed the needle that she was about to stick into him and attempted to harden his skin, but he was unable to do so. It surprised him that the needle got in because he thought his skin would have hardened and broke the needle.
After Amy was finished with his hand, he backed away and looked at his bandaged hand. Then he was handed a bottle of pills and was told when to take them. “ok then” he said as he opened the bottle to look at what it contained. He took a sniff of the pills and his head swung back to avoid the foul smell of the pills.
Now that he was finished with what he came here to do, he felt it should be about time for him to go. Before he could even think about heading to the door, something came to his mind, should he leave Rosemary here or should he stay with her. Not knowing what to do for the time being he continued to stand where he was.

As Rosemary placed the brace on her knee, Amy warmed the girl some chicken noodle soup with some chamomile tea. “Here, eat and drink this. Take your time, though. If you eat too fast, you’re going to get a stomach ache, and then we’ll really be in trouble. The chamomile will help you sleep, which will help you heal faster.”
She placed the bowl and cup on the table beside her, cleaning up the instruments she had used on Miller. Since he would be okay, she patted his arm gently. “You can either leave or stay, okay? Just be very careful because if those stitches come out before their time, I’ll have to do the process all over again.”
She sat at her desk and began filling out paperwork. With every student that came in, she had to fill out an immense load of paperwork. The ones with parents had to have notes sent home, and the ones without…well, it didn’t really matter, did it?

Rosemary smiled slightly before muttering "Thank you..." in a soft voice as she slowly began to eat the soup, not her favourite but it was helping her warm up so she was grateful for that.
As she ate, Rose purposely didn't look at Miller, what he said had truly gotten her down so now was unsure of how to answer him at all as she simply stayed silent, she was sure if she said anything then it would be something that she would soon regret and break the fragile friendship she had with Miller. She sighed angrily as tears built up behind her eyes, which wasn't from the heat of the soup or tea.
Her heart felt very heavy now. "More matter with less art." She quoted with a sigh as she continued to eat, her eyes shut so that her tears wouldn't fall.

Miller still stood by the door, deciding on whether he should leave or not. He thought more towards leaving because the night was still young and he felt like continuing on his stroll around the courtyard since night was the only time he could easily do so. Besides that he’s much more comfortable speaking to himself than other people.
He looked over at Amy when she patted his arm, but her comment did not give him the answer to his current minor dilemma. The other thing she said changed his thought process towards this a bit more though. Considering that if he leaves he could possibly run into Alex again for more ‘training’. He didn’t want to have the stitches redone, so he decided to stay for a bit longer.
Miller made his way towards Rosemary’s bedside to possibly start up another chat considering she hasn’t spoken to him for a while now. He was unaware that the last thing he said to her could have offended her in any way. He didn’t speak just yet thinking that she would start up the conversation for him.

Rosemary acknowledged Miller was by her bed simply by looking at him but didn't speak until she had finished her soup, which she slowed down to eat to give herself as much time to think up something to say as possible before she ended up saying possibly the most cliché sentence that she could have possibly said at that point.
"What makes you say you are not human?" She asked; the usual warmth in her voice gone, in fact her voice was completely void of emotion as she looked up at him, completely neutral in her face, only her eyes betrayed how she was feeling which was slight confusion, guilt and at the same time sorrow and inner pain.

Miller waited for Rosemary to speak by looking up at the ceiling with his fingers constantly tapping his blade. Until finally she spoke, but he noticed that her tone was much different than her usual, as well as the way she looked at him. He listened to her question, but was unsure how to answer her. He looked back down at her thinking of how he should word his response, he came up with nothing, so he made it up as he spoke. “Because humans are hateful, deceptive, and cruel creatures, we are none of these” he explained in a quite serious tone, then lifted his left arm “we are only the product of such”.
Miller was eyeing the door, not liking where this conversation will be heading, thinking that this might be a good time to leave. He didn’t do so just yet though, a part of him wanted Rose to be the voice of reason and prove him wrong.

Rosemary sighed at his answer, "Then by your own definition... I am not human either? Or am I those things, deceitful..... Hating and cruel?" She pushed his thinking whilst she also shifted herself slightly to allow him to sit on the bed if he wished as she took a sip of the Chamomile tea which had cooled a little so that she didn't scold herself.
She looked back at him, challengingly for his answer, having noticed his hesitation she had a notion that the answer he gave wasn't the one that he truly thought so pressed him on, working out the way he would be thinking.

After re-listening to what he had said before through his head, Miller regretted his last sentences. After what Rosemary replied he defiantly knew what he said before was wrong. He lowered his head in shame and tried to reply to her “I... I...”, he sighed and sat on the part of the bed she moved away from. He faced away from her with his blade on his lap with his other arm lying on top of it.
“No, I didn’t mean any of that, I don’t know what I’m saying anymore” he finally responded “I’m sorry”. Though in his mind there was a conflict with his response ‘what do we need to say sorry for, she asked for an answer we gave her one’ ‘I’ll speak with you later about this’.

Rosemary listened, apparently she managed to actually succeed in her challenge but now she was almost regretting it as she saw the conflict going on as he sat by her and turned away from her, now she was faced with what to say back and what to do.
Plucking her courage, Rose placed her tea down, shifted a bit forward as she placed her left hand on his arm with a slight caress of her thumb as she used her right hand to cusp his cheek and force him to look at her straight into her eyes, at least her hands were now clean.
"What does your heart tell you?" Was all she asked in return, looking at him pure and straight, her warmth returning to her voice and her compassion to her emerald eyes which started to sparkle again.

Miller felt Rosemary’s hand on his arm, the exact moment he looked at his arm her other hand had forced him to come face to face with Rose. He felt a bit better about the situation considering that this probably means that she had forgiven him.
Miller was avoiding contact with her eyes, as he still felt dishonoured by his previous comment. He looked back into her eyes as soon as her question came up, he felt a bit more comfortable with her usual tone back. He didn’t know how to answer her though, the way she looked at him distracted him for a bit.
His eyes looked downward toward his chest and then moved back into place immediately after. “I...I don’t know, there are too many things that cloud up my mind for my heart to give an opinion” he replied.

Rosemary smiled softly, "The mind doesn't need to understand what the heart says..." She paused before quoting 'The heart knows things that the mind cannot comprehend...' She smiled again with a slight sigh. She continued to look at his eyes all the time, soften their look so that her eyes were, hopefully, not intimidating Miller.
That was the last thing she wanted to happen with Miller, considering how far they had actually come with only having known each other a whole day, that was actually what was currently scaring her but she squashed it down as she waited for his next answer.

Miller’s large black orb like eyes were locked onto Rose’s, as she was doing the same. He was analyzing every word she said as he was listening to her, he completely understood what she was saying. “Even then the answer is defiantly beyond my own understanding” he responded.
“I’d rather not continue on this subject” he added, Miller’s face expressions did not change what so ever. It wasn’t that the subject was bothering him, it was the fact he didn’t really have an answer to it himself. He sort of regretted bring up the topic to begin with.
