As Erin finally released all of her anger on Jared, she sighed heavily and moved away from him. Jared quickly took this as the greatest moment to pretty much run away and preceded to do so.
Erin walked back over to Alex and sat down infront of him, taking a deep relaxing breath Erin then out of no where flicked Alex in the forehead. "I'm angry at you too," she said to him "just a little less than Jared." She smiled lightly at him, hinting at the fact that this anger would probably result in a different kind of pain that Jared had to suffer from. "You shouldn't pick fights with people who can kill you without you even realizing it, the only reason Jared held back- or not necessarily held back; the only reason Jared didn't use some of the potions he had is because he's the superhero type." She sighed heavily and rolled her eyes.

Alex frowned. The assumption that he would have died without knowing it was laughable, at best. He didn't say anything, though. He wasn't stupid, by any means. Alex could learn. If they had not been holding back last fight (for he was certainly holding back by starting out with a punch and not doing something far more drastic than ice shards to end it), he was sure it would have ended much differently.
However, since Erin had been so kind as to rid him of Jared's handiwork (which wasn't to say that Alex was particularly fond of the idea that he wasn't strong enough to shake off the effects himself), he kept his mouth shut. Besides, Erin seemed annoyed enough with him as it was. While he could handle her animosity as long as it meant she would leave him alone and be all the safer for it, he knew that she wasn't going to take that route.
Still frowning, he pulled a rose out of his jacket (by some miracle it wasn't completely destroyed) and proffered it as he rose to his feet. Despite the sullen air he'd taken on, the whole flower-giving thing clearly made him uncomfortable. He wasn't used to this part of a relationship at all and underneath the stern taciturnity awkwardness lurked.

Erin stood all the way up just as Alex had, but her eyes widened in surprised as she spotted the rose held out to her in an awkward manner. Uncertain on how to react to it at first, she gently took it from him and brought it up to her nose for a small sniff. It was in those next moments that her uncertain expression changed to that of pure delight, she laughed lightly and looked up at Alex. "Thank you," Erin said to him quietly- getting up on her tip toes to give him a small peck on the lips.

Alex thought the peck was a bit too short, but he wasn't going to say anything about it. After all, he had to get over his discomfort at the whole flower thing. Somehow, he felt it rather... juvenile... or something. Why had he felt inclined to do this sort of token exchange? There was no point to it- Erin probably already knew how he felt.
The tips of his ears managed to turn scarlet under his curtain of white-blue hair. He muttered something along the lines of, "Don't mention it." or "It's nothing."
Damnit, this was just like a middle school romance! Hadn't they already been through this stage? Yes, briefly, back in Cryian's library. But they'd gotten past it very quickly. Perhaps because last time he'd-
Alex had an idea. Abruptly, he leaned down and returned her kiss, longer though than the peck she'd given him. Hopefully, that would get rid of some of this discomfort and embarrassment... Also, it was much more satisfying than the mere taste Erin had given him...

Erin was more surprised than anything else when Alex leaned in to prolong their kiss, but what really caused her to stop for a second was the tiny little noise that had made it's way through her throat when he was kissing her. Deciding though that this was nice change from arguements, Erin wrapped her arms around his neck and deepened their kiss. The whole while her face went a little pale, but it felt as if her body had been set on fire.

For a minute or so, things remained perfect. Then he felt a the same thing he'd briefly experienced during the fight... some combative, hardness in his chest and he pulled away roughly. Yes, he still felt the same way about Erin, but it was more... selfish. Avaricious. He looked at her with cold eyes while thoughts of leaving this dump right then and there with her in tow ran temptingly through his mind.

A boy with horns peeked out the door of the school, wondering what had happened. Despite the damage each of them had taken, one seemed to be gone already and the other was already on his feet and kissing this girl. "Whoa... the people here really bounce back quick... I wonder if that's what they're here for..."
---
Alex glanced at the school with no small amount of contempt. Abruptly he said to Erin, "C'mon. Let's get out of here. This school is useless." His grip on her tightened and he leaned in to say coolly, "What do you say, Erin? Want to get our kicks in the real world and leave these weaklings with their fantasy land?"

Erin stared up at Alex, feeling a strange sense of lust as he leaned toward her. "Leave? Let's just find somewhere not so...," Erin looked around for a moment then glanced back at Alex "Public." Erin smirked at him and then grabbed a hold of Alex's collar, pulling him in the direction of the greenhouse. "We can leave later, after well... you know." Giggling mischeviously, she planted her lips firmly on Alex's; giving him the kind of kiss that one would only see in the movies. The whole while she continued to drag him in the direction of the green house, seeming a little more stronger then she usually was.

Alex looked startled for a mere second before the corner of his mouth quirked upwards in a coolly amused smile. Oho, so she wasn't going to argue with him about the leaving thing? AND she was ready and willing to- needless to say, he was pleasantly surprised by the whole reaction.
And that kiss- DAMN- it was definitely something he'd only caught traces of before if at all. Where had this smoking-hot, incredibly strong, entrancing side of Erin been all this time? Alex let her pull him along, feeling ravenous for something very different from food.
Then, all of a sudden, the cold hardness in his chest melted away shortly to be replaced by something else. Everything seemed... he couldn't place it... but all of a sudden he wasn't so angry with everything anymore. He still felt like following Erin to the greenhouses, but he hoped that she would let him stop before they did anything too... he couldn't think of it... too something. Erin was too good for a greenhouse. There had to be something he could do better than this.

"Angelo! Stop!" Damon didn't dare to step out of the safety of the school's entranceway, not even to chase after his twin. "I'll be back, I swear. I just want a glimpse!" Angelo, to Damon's great consternation, dashed off after the lovebirds.
Angelo, you pervert! Leave them alone!
--
Angelo followed the two as quietly as he could, hiding behind shrubbery and stifling mischievous laughter. They were obviously going to be doing something steamy... and Angelo knew he couldn't pass up such an opportunity!
