The question of cameras caused Serenity to briefly turn her head in Cade's direction, giving him a sort of cold and calculating expression. What sort of ridiculous idea did the man have this time? "Whatever you're thinking, no." It was easier to shut him down right then and there than to assume anything at this point. It seemed as though every single time she tried to guess something that he was thinking he'd come back with something completely different. It was when he moved to join her on the staircase though, that Serenity could easily guess now what the man was thinking. His weak attempt at her shirt caused the older woman to let out a derisive snort, "What am I a ship now?" The man had his charming points, but this was definitely not one of them.
Turning toward him then, Serenity placed a hand on his chest as if trying to push him away from her - but in a much more subtle manner than she would usually use on him. "First off, you'll have to be way more charming than for us to do anything right here. Secondly, there's a camera isn't there?" It was just a guess, after all the stairways were one of the areas that Serenity was the least familiar with. "I hope you weren't planning on trying to do anything with a security camera right there." With those words, Serenity's eyebrows raised high - as if she were waiting for an excuse to get mad at him. Really, it was too easy sometimes for the man to piss her off. After all, Serenity was a lot of things, but she definitely wasn't an exhibitionist.

Cade had to admit, it wasn’t his best material. Trying to seduce Serenity was a strange thing in his mind because from what he had gathered she didn’t even enjoy the prospect of intercourse. Frankly she didn’t seem to company at all, let alone the up close and personal kind. What exactly could he say to get the gears going? Most of the time she threw his words right back at him. “What? I was only looking for cameras, you know so that we don’t stay here and boil. What the hell, do you think I have some sort of fascination with people watching?” He questioned as he shrugged.
“And come on give me a break, you have no idea how much that flower grinded on my mind. It’s not every day that I create an object without some sort of reference” he attempted to defend himself smugly as the woman pushed on his chest. At least she was being more gentle than usual, that either meant she didn’t want to muster the strength to actually push him off or he was actually making progress. The former seemed somewhat more believable.
“And no, there are no security cams that I know of. I’ve checked. Do you want me to give you a boost so that you can feel the walls for them yourself? I’ll do it if you need the proof.” he began to reassure her as he turned to a more kneeling position. He then scooped the woman up in his arms, one under the crook of her knee while the other propped up her back. He lifted the teacher with some ease, though he suspected that Serenity would probably be better at picking him up than he was. Mostly due to the fact she was much stronger than he was. He then brought her over to a neighboring wall, easily within reaching distance of her hand. “Okay, now feel that wall and tell me if there are any cameras. You get a free shot to my jaw if you can find any.” Luckily for Cade, the only camera there was was out of her reach.

Serenity shook her head at Cade's incredulous words, he had to be up to something - she would figure it out at some point too. "And you thought I was actually going to do something with you in a stairwell in the first place?" Serenity pursued her lips at the man, her irritation slowly rising. Just as she was about to respond to him, Serenity instead found herself being lifted up by Cade and directed toward the wall. "My past experience with you suggests that you are otherwise lying." It was actually pretty hard for Serenity to believe anything a person said after finding out they have lied to her. Just to humour the now what she considered idiotic man, Serenity moved her hand out toward the wall and little her fingers dance across the surface. "Oh, I see definitely no camera's up here." It was obvious her tone was sarcastic
In the next few seconds then, Serenity slammed her fist against the wall with enough force that could likely through Cade off balance for a moment. While to a normal person the sound was most likely not that major, to Serenity it was more than enough for her to see everything that she wanted too. All around her the sound reverberated across the small space allowing for her to sense that there was indeed a camera just a bit out arms length. Shaking her head, Serenity moved in a manner that allowed for one of her hands to use Cade's other shoulder as support - carefully and meticulously sliding down the man's body (not bothering to wait for him to set her down). "Alright, I believe you - no camera's at all." As she said this, Serenity hid her face from Cade in a coy sort of manner and moved her hands down to Cade's belt.
With surprisingly nimble fingers the woman managed to unhook it and slowly slide the belt out of the loops of his pants, "This is what you were thinking, right?" Serenity said quietly then, moving her head up toward his. As she did so the older woman kept his belt in one of her hands and moved her arms up above his shoulders. The action was so smooth and practically flawless and as she did so she allowed for the belt that was in her hands to lay across the back of his neck and act as an incomplete necklace in a sense. "You have been trying so hard anyways, it's only fair that I give you a break." Her forehead then lightly touched his, along with her nose. It was almost as if the woman was teasing him by not making any complete moves.

Cade picked up on the woman’s sarcasm fairly easily. To be expected, she wasn’t taking his attempt at reassurance with any seriousness. It would appear she gave up after daintily running her fingers down the drywall, but afterwards she punched it which at first didn’t seem like much. Cade then realized that Serenity wouldn’t do anything without reason, even though he could easily pass the action off as nonsensical rage. No, he knew better than that and he quickly began to regret offering a free punch to his face, especially with how much force she’d be able to throw at him. She wouldn’t try to break his jaw, right? The more he got to know the older woman, the less he felt he could answer that question confidently.
She leapt off his arms and when she did she had a strangely sudden mood change. Even though she had stated not a minute ago that she wasn’t going to play along regardless of the camera not being present. While she had displayed differences in actions and words in the past, she’d also fooled him into accepting a kiss that swiftly switched into her attempting to bite his lip clean off. He rather not test his limits with the woman when put herself into such a gray area. While her unbuckling of his belt was arousing, he only ever thought with one head not the other.
Cade didn’t like the fact that his belt was being looped around his neck, Serenity obviously had ulterior motives than the ones that he wished she had and no doubt that was going to come into play when the time was right. He allowed her to get close regardless of his fears of what was going to happen next, assuredly they were not what he was thinking. He felt the light touch of her forehead on his and closed his eyes while breathing with slow ease. “You found the security camera didn’t you?” he spoke softly as though he was telling her sweet nothings. “You chose the kill me option didn’t you?” He then slid his hands onto to her hips, softly grasping at the bony discs. Something bad was going to happen, so he might as well hold onto something pre-emptively. Was he being paranoid? There was no such thing as being too paranoid around Serenity, the fear was usually real.

Serenity's lips upturned at the sound of Cade's soft voice, even if she wanted to kill the man it was literally impossible at this point to deny her attraction to him. "Do you take me for an idiot?" Serenity whispered back with a surprisingly seductive tone as she brought her fingers gently up toward both sides of his face. As she did so, her fingers moved slow as if were trying to figure out some sort of code that was hidden in Cade's face. "Depends, would you rather me kill you slowly or fast?" It was when his hands slid to her hips that the woman's mind started to go into overdrive, calculating all the possible ways she could cause him bodily harm without having him be able to retaliate.
It was obvious to her though that he was already onto her ploy, after all it hadn't taken her too long to realize he might having been lying about the security camera in the first place. Letting out a light and airy laugh, Serenity got up on her tip toes so that she could move her lips to Cade's ears, "how about I tell you a secret before you decide?" Serenity asked the other teacher - her tone making it seem as though she could offer him nothing but paradise.

The woman bringing her hands closer to his face should have made him even more nervous, but Cade couldn’t be so paranoid over every new touch and movement that she made. The closest equivalent he could relate to interacting with Serenity was like trying to diffuse a bomb, one wrong action and he could be splattered against a wall. While drunk Serenity was somewhat more predictable, he enjoyed the sober version so much better. Every evening with her felt like a challenge, a risk. It got his adrenaline pumping. Victories were so little, but felt so rewarding in return, chances were yet again less in his favour though.
The man gently tapped against her hip bones as she began to speak once more. Even with his eyes closed, he forced them to roll as her question. “If I took you for an idiot I would’ve assumed you didn’t know about the camera and went along with your attempts at seducing me. I know you’re a whole lot smarter than to have sex with me on that dirty floor” he returned in a soft whisper giggling an airy laugh near the end of his sentence.
Cade allowed her face to travel past his own as she began to whisper directly into his ear. He knew he couldn’t possibly trust anything that her majestic voice had to offer. He had to tip toe around her traps and setups in order to not lose another arm to her wrath. He might just lose the same arm a couple weeks before full recovery. Although if he continued to stop her attempts she might just get flustered and do something spontaneously, so it was a no win scenario. Cade still felt he could test his odds, perhaps calm the storm before it arrived. “This one was quick for me to decide actually. Do whatever makes you feel happier, Sugar Booger” he replied with a gleaming smile. He was proud of his words for the moment, but he felt there was no way he was getting away with that one.

In a swift motion, before Serenity even bothered to respond to what she considered degrading words - the teacher pushed away from Cade and grabbed a hold of the belt that she had originally put around his neck to do a quick twisting motion which would end up slamming Cade's head against the wall. "Is that supposed to be fucking cute? Seriously, try harder next time. I'm a woman, not some dumb toy you can play with." Serenity was tempted to add insult to injury by aiming a swift kick at Cade's side, instead for once the woman held back and started to back away from the man she's practically crippled a thousand times before. "Also, since I hate liars I'll tell you the truth. I don't mind chocolate, it's not my favorite but I didn't like the fact of giving you the satisfaction of knowing you did something right for once." As she said this, Serenity bent down to take the gift basket that had been previously sitting on the floor along with the flower that Cade had made.
"Since you're not a mind reader, try music next time." As if almost on cue, there was a click of the door near them - "Hey, sorry about that guys... I'm new here. Are the both of you okay?" Gray looked in at the scene before him, resisting the urge to laugh. "I can leave it locked if you want me too?" Serenity shook her head with a sigh, "No, I'm leaving." Serenity pushed her way past the new janitor and left the stairwell, she would have to get the things from her classroom another time. All she wanted was to go home at this point, or have a drink... or even both.
