Whether or not Belle had read her note, Azmyth didn’t know. Belle didn’t say anything, so maybe she hadn’t. Then again, it had been right in front of her…
Belle does as Azmythera asks. As she does this, Azmythera takes off her left glove to check her watch.
The greenhouse caretaker only had ten minutes until she had to attend to a staff meeting. She would have to speed things up.
BELLE: What next?
Azmythera mimes raking the rose food over the soil with the fork. She gives Belle the fork, and writes.
“I know this sounds and looks a bit silly, but sometimes a fork makes a better gardening tool than a rake.”

Belle looked over the side and saw the woman take a quick glance at her watch. "Oh my! It's getting late. I need to go get my schedule and stuff," she murmured quickly raking the fork through the soil.
The utensil made little straight lines and Belle absentmindedly placed her hand where she was raking. "Ouch!" she yelped. Placing her finger in her mouth, she sucked on it gently wishing the pain away. "Done!" Belle placed the fork down and stood up brushing off any remaining dirt.

BELLE:(Quietly, quickly) Oh my! It's getting late. I need to go get my schedule and stuff…
She does as Azmythera asks. Belle pricks her finger as she rakes.
Azmyth’s motherly instincts shot her hand to her apron’s pocket, to pull out a band-aid with a cheery smile. But as she saw Belle put her finger in her mouth, she knew Belle would be fine.
Azmythera slips the band-aid back into her pocket.
BELLE: Done!
Azmythera smiles at Belle, and starts to write another note.
“You can go now. I can take care of the rest; I need to go off to a mee class. “ She quickly crossed out what would’ve been the word “meeting”, since she wasn’t sure if students were meant to know about the staff meeting. Yes it was best that none of the kids knew.
