Information and History of Foresta Academy:
Foresta Academy is set in an alternate world from our own, where everything is almost the same, but advancements in technology, etc. is fast forwarded (And magic of course exists). Think of it like the iPod coming out in 1997 and so on. Due to how fast the human race was evolving, a new species of human appeared in the world in the 1800's. Some of them seeming to have natural born abilities, other's mutated by scientific experiments.

Foresta was founded back in 1880 by Timothy R. Kandless when gifted people started to reveal themselves to the entirety of the world. These so called abominations appeared normal, or appeared to have animalistic qualities and so on. As for the people with powers who had no explanation what-so-ever, they were shunned for the most part because magic seemed ridiculous compared to science.

Seeing how the gifted society was treated in majority, Timothy took it upon himself to create a safe-haven for these mistreated and unique individuals. When Foresta first became known, it was simply an escape or a refugee camp so to say. Some years passed, and Timothy slowly made Foresta into a school. Some adults that had been staying at Foresta became teachers (others moved to the village), and most of all the children and teenagers became students. Foresta Academy accepts all kinds of students, whether they be scientific experiments or fairies.

Foresta is located on a large unknown island in the Atlantic Ocean, it's coordinates are not marked on a normal map; and the only way to be able to find it is if you are gifted in one way or the other. There is a spell on the school, allowing any human with an alteration of any kind in their genes to sense the location of the school. Like information being randomly relayed into the person's brain. Foresta received it's name due to the magical and beautiful forest it is situated near, unknown to many people- if a toxin were to be spread in the air from a place and travel through the world, it would not affected the inhabitants of the island as long as the remained on the inside of the forest. The forest acts as a protection from disease in a way, not allowing any kind of virus, bacteria, etc. to the human enter or leave.
